Is this the key weakness of The Supranational Deep State? by Robin in greatawakening

This adds to the issue, yet I think the biggest weakness is divide and conquer.

Are not all forms of governing, no matter what name you use to label it (pick an -ism) built to do this one thing control the social hierarchy? It is funny to read so many people hot about their -isms being better than the others -ism. I love a good discussion about difference of opinion, yet worry about the divide that maybe conquering both sides.

Indeed, all of the many complaints we have about government today—surveillance, militarism, corruption, harassment, SWAT team raids, political persecution, spying, over-criminalization, etc.—were present in Lennon’s day and formed the basis of his call for social justice, peace and a populist revolution.

Waited a long time to see this point posted. All the anger, disappointment, sadness, frustration and rage changes inside once you know this struggle we feel today is not new it is ancient. Technology has changed how we interact, yet the struggle has always been the same.

Not sure if we need to go into the streets in numbers. I think we could all just stay home or go to the park. Just don't go to work for three to six months. If a good majority of people didn't go to work for half a year it would disrupt the consumer, materialistic society and its money flow in said city (hit'm where it hurts). Don't buy anything but the essentials for 6 months (no: TV's, phones, cars, houses or candy for six months). Yeah, I know how could most of the 99ers survive without pay for 3 to 6 months or longer.

Oh, I am just a dreamer. Oh, how would everyone eat, drink and survive without the greenback to pay for it all? Not an easy fix and some or a lot of people are going to suffer no matter what does or does not occur as an attempt for great change.

ATIONS

If we meet and I say, "HI,"
That's a salutation.
If you ask me how I feel,
That's consideration.
If we stop and talk a while,
That's a conversation.
If we argue, scream and fight,
That's an altercation.
If later we apologize,
That's reconciliation.
If we help each other home,
That's cooperation.

And all these ations added up
Makes civilization.

(And if I say this is a wonderful poem,
Is that exaggeration?)

A 14k transistor chip made with carbon nanotubes, not silicon, marks a computing milestone by magnora7 in technology

I'm trained in chemistry not electronics. Would you be able to give me some detail on the problem of creating a optical transistor?

Could it be photons are not so easy to control as electrons when creating an on/off switch?

Photons can be observed/measured in two states. Is this part of the problem?

Is it a problem of creating the correct materials for photons as in p and n-doped materials in electronic transistors?

Thanks for your time and create a great day...

“The FBI assesses these conspiracy theories very likely will emerge, spread, and evolve in the modern information marketplace, occasionally driving both groups and individual extremists to carry out criminal or violent acts,"

Is this not how the FBI infiltrates and creates that which they predict..."information marketplace? What are you going to buy for your head?

So, AI may not come about as a silicon based unit...it maybe a carbon based unit. Well these elements are next to each other in the same family of elements. They like four bonds to complete the octet rule.
So cool that if carbon (non metallic element) is physically manipulated into nano units it becomes as good or better conductor of electricity than our metallic elements.
Using 1/3 the power to complete the same task at three times the speed...interesting.
With carbon being three times faster at 1/3 power does it create the same heat foot print as our metallic computer friends? How much electrical resistance does a nano tube create/transfer into heat?

What is antipsychiatry? It's the idea that you shouldn't assault or dehumanize people. by Anticapitalist in Antipsychiatry

Abbie is just fine. Until the day she arrives at the psychiatrists office due to a prolonged period of depression and anxiety. It takes minutes up to an hour for Dr. Felix to transform Abbie...Po0o0o0o0F into Abbie-normal. Dr. Felix pulls out his trusty black bag of SSRI's and Benzodiazepines zzzzzzip. Lets see, Abbie take this pill for three months while paying attention to your state of mind and other bodily issues to see if this pill and its side effects works for you. Oh yeah, don't forget it could take several trial phases with different pills to find the perfect one for you. Don't worry the Pharmaceutical industry is spitting these SSRI's out like candy...we will find one for you even if it takes a year. sarcasm

I agree there a need to create a new way of dealing with individual mental health issues other than pills. I enjoy learning psychological information, reading studies and the such. Psychology has value yet, deep down inside me there is something not right or not on the spot with psychiatry. The treatment focuses on the patient containing or has an issue and the idea of society/culture is never to blame. Culture is not going to change for you, therefore you must be the problem. Or the doc cannot do anything about culture so why not you and I talk and eat some pills so we can get you acclimated to the culture that is contributing to you mental state of mind.
