Stonewall included ridiculing gender identity as a form of domestic abuse in their research. The next time someone tells you transwomen face more domestic violence than women this is where they are getting their information from. by jet199 in GenderCritical

This list is all about maintaining the illusion that trans people are the greatest victims in our culture. They are trying to cement their victimhood status by equating verbal taunts with literal violence. While being ridiculed and belittled in a relationship isn't something I condone, it makes a mockery of those who endure and face actual real domestic violence. This is insanity.

Wow, this is such a pathetic display, in comparison to actual revolutionaries. For example I was raised on stories of the Hungarian revolution in 1956 against the soviets, which my relatives fought in. The soviets killed ~6000 citizens in two months at the cost of 700 soviet troops lives. The streets literally ran with blood, there were lynchings. Watching these Social (media) justice warriors fold like a house of cards the moment any pressure is applied to them. They don't know how lucky they are to be here in this country and the unbelievable professional restraint 99% of the cops here manage to muster.

Agreed, if you watch the actual timeline videos (there are many... the NYT also breaks it down) of his actions, its self defense. Even the possession of a rifle under 18, will probably not stick.

He's guilty perhaps of looking for trouble while open carrying, so no hero, definitely should be charged. From what I've read he is cooperating, and in our system he is innocent until proven guilty.

Still the criminal complaint does not include his mom. Here is a good video comb through the charges against Kyle... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMmCAbJT6U0

My 2 cents ... one unifying thing ... it is pretty telling that there is evidence both the shooter and both dead guys, all men, treat women like shit. The video of Rittenhouse punching a girl. Then you can play devil's advocate and argue the dead guys, Rosenbaum and Huger, were "worse" since they had felony convictions around their horrible abuse of women.

And now others jumping in and blaming his Mom?! Fuck right off. This world hates women.

You are welcomed here. I myself consider myself more truscum, then on the full terf end of the spectrum.

Wish I could give you hug. Sexual trauma is not the only path to gender dysphoria. Internalized misogyny and homophobia is another way in. This world hates, HATES females and lesbians while at the same time hyper sexualizing young women. It's hard not to internalize this and it can come out many ways. Even as self disgust if you have been on line all your life and especially if you've watch porn these days.

What you are feeling (disgust of your chest and pubic area) is not unusual for females your age. I'm old so my advice and perspective might be of no use to you. But I will still ofter you my personal experience since like you I Hated my body from 11 to 18.

The truth is your mind and body are not done growing until your early 20s. At your age, your brain is literally rewiring itself from a child's to an adult brain, higher brain functions are no where near fully developed, which is why you are not allowed to do many adult things like drink or vote.

Your dysphoria may change radically as the years/decades slip by. For me my detached disgust for my body started to settle down after high school, and by 22 I felt pretty comfortable with my female parts. Tis is not uncommon. Though of course ymmv.

I don't have much advice, beyond you are very young, don't rush, take it real slow. Engage with your body through exercise, eat well, find fulfilling hobbies that are not on the internet. Last I would recommend you connect with slightly older desisters/detrans transmen in there 20's who have been through what you have. I don't know many, can only recommend GNC Centric (Ben is ex-transman lesbian, is) comes to mind... https://www.youtube.com/c/GNCCentric

I remember your last post! I'm so glad to see you posting again. It's an incredibly hard thing you are going through. I want to double down on the advice to be kind to yourself (even when friends and family will not) and protect yourself.

I can kinda relate. I'm GNC and was lost/lonely when I was late teens, I joined/left a religious cult. Maybe it might help you if frame it as joining/leaving a cult (one that has mass media favor right now cause it sells and because it is run by loud narcissistic men who have $$). I'm not the only one with this idea (Arty Morty talks about this ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcqqGJrCpFY ). In the end looking back on it twenty years later, I regret it, but at the same time it really matured me and taught me A LOT. So please keep in mind that you can grow and survive this and come out stronger.

If you can mend bridges with family please try when you are ready (most sane parents will welcome you back), your true friends will still be there, if you don't have friends you will make new ones, guaranteed (you sound very smart and thoughtful).

There are more detrans reseources now then there was even two years ago, I hope you tap into them as well. Recently, I just started watching GNC Centric on youtube, love her and the conversations she has.

Take care and hope you stick around!

Internet rando's opinion is not worth much I know, yet you have my respect for supporting your kids and wife even though you sound miserable. I've been married 22 years, we had a couple of rough patches. I wish you the patience and wisdom of ... someone you think has a lot of patience and wisdom.

Yes, all that is statistically true. It is also true that men will do those things, and worse, to women even without marriage. Not being married won't save you. Something like 80% of unmarried men completely abandon the children they fathered, taking all the potential resources that child would have access to with him. Married men not by a long shot. Having children without access to plentiful resources (ie $) is more the trap for women.

THIS. If you're dating someone and after years you say nah, I don't want to marry you... it means I don't want to declare you part of my legal family and/or I want to be able to leave anytime I want. Marriage isn't a trap, it's a feature of civilized society, one where women, gays/lesbians now have the option to take or leave these days.

Agreed... Lots of bad messaging from media and culture. HOWEVER God damn but I hate Twitter. This hot take is BS, marriage has always been "positioned as a desire for women." ALWAYS. Historically it was the only thing women had to look forward to besides "being a mother." Marriage has evolved, culturally and legally (thank christ!). Why do you think gay people fought for the right to marry?! Marriage (a voluntary, legally protected partnership) is not in of itself bad.

1: A female is a biological reality... someone who potentially can, is currently making or used to make large gametes (ie ova), and secondary to this then the system of organs you list to gestate a zygote. A female will never make small gametes (ie sperm). The opposite is also true, a male is someone who will, is currently making or used to produce small gametes. A male will never produce an ova. The rest is obfuscation.

2: This is obfuscation, TRAs love to bring up development disorders of intersex people (which are very rare) to "prove" sex is a spectrum, not binary etc. That's like saying someone born without legs proves humans are not bipedal. It's nonsense.

If you are actually determined to understand and figure this out, I suggest you carefully watch: https://www.youtube.com/c/ParadoxInstitute ( Also on twitter: https://twitter.com/zaelefty/status/1280974218369421316 )

3: Gender is a social construct, based on feelings and culture. Sex is biological reality that surgeries (that are essentially cosmetic) can not erase. It can harm everything. Look at what it is doing to our language alone. You can't even understand what is male or female even though 99.6% of us are one of the two. What about ... Women's sports, prisons, scholarships, women's shelters are affected if we accept anyone can declare themselves a woman, yet remain male bodied (with it's great strength, violent and rapey tendencies.) As far as I can tell Non-binary is a reaction to Gender Identity. Since Gender ID insists your internal "feeling like a woman/man" means you are woman/man, than non-binary people insist they feel like neither, again notice everything based on "feelings".

Gender should be abolished because it upholds old regressive sexist stereotypes (pink is for girls, blue is for boys type stuff). I can't believe we've gone back to the point where I have to argue this. Gender ideology is harmful to gender-non-conforming kids and adults. It means, if a little girl plays with trucks and legos and hates dresses, people now think this girl should actually be a transboy.

Many of us were like him, not to long ago. Trying to be reasonable, kind and empathic. Until something happened and we examined the issue closely, and we were snapped awake, peaked. We can't peak him. He's got to go through it himself, do his own critical thinking. Many/most can't or won't. So ya, I'm not holding my breathe, but will not be surprised to see him go hold on, wtf is going on with all this. Especially since he's old and seen a lot.

The one reason we all can't speak our minds is cancel culture. Cancel culture was created by so-called progressive democrats. I've only ever voted Democrat in my life, but I just can't support that anymore. Don't downvote till you've read please. by 100_percent_truth in GenderCritical

I'm in the same boat (live in hyperwoketown - Seattle). I am butch but straight, often travel to rural WA, and these days feel more at home and accepted by rural folks than at home. I always vote like 99% democrat and I always will vote, but I've declared myself politically homeless and have no idea how to vote in Nov besides not trump. I really don't like Biden as a candidate, he was my last choice among the democrats (he speaks as if he has dementia, and is in the sway of the wokerati, though not as much as WArren). I don't think Biden will win in a landslide honestly, with covid likely to suppress turnout in places without mail-ins.

Yes it's all depressing.

I'm of two minds about spinister. I love being around like-minded feminists, so it's a good place to support eachother and maintain sanity. However it is also an echo chamber and will expose and bring new people to reality. That was why I loved gencrit on reddit. It was both "safe space" (a term I hate) and a pulpit.

I've lived here forever. And it is very hard to see so many smart educated people fall for this idiocy. It makes me want to leave and never come back. Especially watching so many girls and autistic children go trans.

I suspect I speak for a few here when I say... I don’t give a shit about what the rest of reddit thinks if us. Those that are gloating can go fuck themselves. We were at heart a community of women for likeminded women. A place to vent, maintain sanity, educate and support eachother. GC, the core sub, was/is, not a recruiting station.
