Does Magnora have any proof of the banned subreddits here doing that, too?

I, personally, don't need any as I've seen the memes/posts he's referring to on those subs, but I'm sure if you really wanted proof he would be able to find evidence. Since they're banned I can't go look. Nice job avoiding the question, btw. Here it is again: Do you have any proof that left leaning subs on saidit are making calls for violence yet still aren't banned?

Such a simple question that you've repeatedly failed to answer. So weird how your giant galaxy brain can't answer it.

You're a limp-wristed faggot leftist. I bet you're not even 18 year thinking you know it all, too. If you're over 18 then I'd be ashamed for your sake.

I thought this was a pretty clear question, but as with everything else you seem to just loving muddying the waters. Do you have any proof of left leaning subs on saidit calling for violence? Reddit is a different site, so citing their users as a reflection of ours is a little misleading.

This is a very, very simple issue to solve. If there are calls for violence on left leaning subs within saidit that have yet to be banned then /u/magnora7 is a hypocrite. If the calls to violence seem to be only an issue within your subs, then maybe it's something YOU'RE doing if multiple websites keep banning the type of communities you tend to build.

You ever have that thought? That maybe, just maybe, you're not some helpless victim? That maybe it's not the entire world out to get you? You ever wonder if there's a slim chance that it might just be you who's the asshole? Man, what a world that would be... It's just so hard to picture a reality in which you, of all people, might actually be in the wrong.

Well yeah I agree we should all be as honest as possible, but there's nice way and a shitty way to say things. I'm just saying try to err on the side of the nice way as that's all you can do in terms of being inoffensive. We're basically saying the same thing tbh, which is don't worry too much about word choice, just do your best.

That's why I said to just try and pick the least offensive word and not worry. If someone gets offended then that's on them. People will ALWAYS be offended, so all you can really do is try your best and be confident you weren't trying to be offensive. No point in worrying about an issue that will never be resolved.

[–]Zombi 5 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Except you can't use a fire extinguisher to start a fire. I agree that guns are necessary for protection in certain situations, but we shouldn't be loading up our teachers with guns; I think that's just a recipe for disaster.

There's also the fact that there are plenty of other countries with much less guns while also having much less mass shootings (or none at all) so I don't think the issue has much to do with guns. I think mass shootings are a very complex issue and I think guns are just a single piece that enables them to happen. If guns weren't here there'd be mass stabbings instead, or bombings, or some other horrible thing to fill that gap.

All in all, less guns probably won't solve the issue just like how more guns won't solve the issue. Actually understanding the root cause of the issue will solve it. Arguing over gun laws and distribution just stalls the progress being made.

Where did the post say that was the entire law?

Oh, come on now. This is such a weak argument. I'm saying that it was presented as if it was. Again, I say "here's a picture of me". You see only a finger. You say "that's not a picture of your whole body" and I say "Of course not! I never said it was!" Yeah, I'm technically right, but I'm still very misleading.

The fact that they're spending their time writing, debating, and passing stuff like this supports the OP's position that Jews have much influence over the US government, and nobody has posted anything to counter that specific argument.

Maybe it's because the jews have had people like you and OP insinuating that they're evil warmongers who rule the world behind the scenes? This isn't new either, this is centuries of hate thrown at them. They're the only group that is hated to such a degree that one of our largest atrocities, Hitler's attempt at genocide, was committed against them. Do other groups deserve the same laws? Yes, but I can understand focusing on the jews.

There are very many people who HATE jews all over, I've seen them. Certain people may not like blacks or the spanish, but the jews get a different kind of hate. They're the only group of people I've seen universally despised all over the world. The second would be black people.

Go make a whites only sub, get negative feedback, call everyone racist because whites can't have their own spaces. Profit off of all that sweet moral righteousness.

You'd think for a race that experienced "whites only" restaurants and the like in the 40's & 50's that they'd be the last one to go and create the exact same thing, but on the internet. Then they have the gall to act morally superior when people call them racist hypocrites. Joke or not the people criticizing them, even if they got woosh'd, weren't exactly wrong in the outrage. I personally think it's a funny joke, but I can understand being mad if you're taking it seriously. If you're going to make jokes about sensitive topics, don't be such pussies about it when people get offended. It comes with the territory.

It's kinda hard to take something out of context when the context is literally right there. I put the sentence in its entirety for you to read and everything.

I've literally said MULTIPLE TIMES that I don't agree that gun laws should be changed. How the fuck does that make me anti-2nd amendment?

Just because I don't support cramming 100's of guns inside of thousands of schools I'm suddenly an SJW who wants to take everyone's rights away? Get the fuck out of here with that; I am not advocating to make them illegal or to seize them.

It's so funny how I'm both an SJW (according to you) while also being a racist trump supporter (according to the liberal retards on reddit). So which is it guys? Am I an SJW soy-boy or am I misogynistic nazi? It's almost like you and others just use ad-hominem attacks to cover up the fact you aren't intelligent enough to actually argue the point I'm making.

Also, just so you know the "downvote" button is actually an upvote on this site. I know it's you trying to "downvote" me, but in reality you're just giving me more visibility by doing that, so thanks for the upvotes! Next time actually learn how the site works.

training is neither costly or time consuming, its about the family. if the family they come from is experienced and supports guns, that experience is passed to the next generation.

So we should only employ teachers that have generations of gun owners that have taught/trained them? You know that's completely unrealistic and asinine right?

If you look at the reality, there are FAR more teachers that don't use guns than do, I'd say probably millions. So you need to train MILLIONS of teachers, distribute (meaning PAY FOR) millions of guns, and then take the TIME to train those teachers... It will cost time and money.

being able to protect ourselves is not the bandiad, the constitutional violations they call gun laws are the real bandaids, lol.

I'm saying you SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PROTECT YOURSELF. Again, you aren't solving the issue of mass shootings at all. You aren't looking for a way to stop mass shootings, you are looking for protection for when they happen.

why do we need guns? by sawboss in firearms

[–]Zombi 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

my entire post is on how gun free zones are prime targets of mass shooting ops.

I feel we should stop the threat of massing shootings entirely, rather than mitigate the damage from it happening. You're suggesting a band-aid for an infection while I'm suggesting antibiotics, do you get it now?

you say teachers should try to protect the kids at school, but you dont want them to have the tool they can use to properly protect them?

Because I feel that housing 100+ guns within a school with thousands of kids knowing there is a gun within every 10 ft will just lead to more shootings rather than less. I don't trust kids or teachers to handle them properly without training which is both costly and time consuming. I think it's a completely nonsensical idea from a logistical standpoint and a I think it doesn't solve the ACTUAL problem.

You are extremely condescending, yet you have no clue of what you're talking about.

I'm all for the 2nd amendment, but I'm just using a real world example of the contrary being proven. I'm talking about other countries, not the US. Gun free zones don't really stop shootings, if someone wants to shoot people they can do it pretty easily with how many guns are out there on the street. I'm suggesting that gun laws are FINE as they are and that we should be concentrating on solving the actual problem. I'm saying arguing over it is a waste of time as the issue isn't about guns at all, so please reread my post because you've missed a lot of what I was saying. I support the gun industry, I just don't think they're the solution to this problem because they are a part of the problem. They aren't the problem.

Then you'd better keep armed police on site 24/7, because waiting for them to arrive costs lives.

I completely agree and I personally grew up with an armed officer at my school throughout every year. My main issue with arming teachers is that teaching is their job, not protection (though they should try to protect the kids if they can). I'd feel better with someone who's trained and professional being in charge of protecting our kids rather than Ms. Brown who's never held a damn gun in her life.

fuck them

I mean, it kinda directly contradicts the idea you're supposing, which is that more gun prevalence would bring about less gun violence... but yeah just ignore that part and carry on I guess.

I think moral authoritarians who want to micromanage the affairs of others are the biggest cause of violence in our time.

Yes, that is a very huge issue as well and I agree with you on this. I don't think denying teachers the right to bring a loaded firearm to school is being authoritarian, though.

You can't have that because the mainstream media insists on framing it as a Second Amendment issue. Gee, wonder why they'd do that?

Cause that's what gets people angry and tuned in. Who wants that boring old "No more dead children" stuff when we can keep that juicy news flowing! Just think about how much money you can make off of exploiting dead children, man! You don't wanna give all that up do you?

Toilet thoughts are less epiphanies and more musings IMO. I think a shower thought is more of a "mind-blown" type of deal whereas a toilet thought would be some interesting idea you might have.

Example:

Archimedes discovering displacement of water after taking a bath would be a shower thought.

That famous Albert Einstein quote about how insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results would be a toilet thought.

Is it Anti-Semitic to Point Out That Well Over 50% of The Bolshevik Government Was Jewish? by Jesus in conspiracy

[–]Zombi 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I have no problem exploring a conspiracy and speaking of it. I have more of a problem with people claiming they're not being anti-semitic when it's pretty clear from what I've consistently seen on this site that when speaking of the cabal/zionists/globalists people are either heavily implying or straight up referring to them as jews.

It's a generalization on par with those SJW's that say white men are sexist rapists that want to target minorities. No, not all white men are like that, we have a name for those kinds of people: racist misogynists. Refer to them as such or else you'll be seen as a bigot.

I just think if you're going to literally state "the jews are a part of the cabal" which is a very broad group of people from all walks of life, you should expect to be seen as anti-semitic. If you don't want to be seen as anti-semitic, then refer to them as what they actually are: zionists/globalist/whateverthefuck. At least don't try to justify your (not referring to you specifically here) beliefs by saying you're not making an anti-semitic statement because I see that as bullshit quite frankly.

[–]Zombi 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I think it's odd because from what I gather, conspiracy theorists are very set on letting us know that they are NOT anti-semitic. You guys say it's the zionists that are the "cabal" or whatever, not jews as a whole.

Ok, I accept that. Not all rectangles are squares and all that. What I don't get, though, is if it has nothing to do with jews, but zionists as a whole, then why even make a post like this?

You do realize how constantly bringing up jews when "it's not all jews!" makes you seem anti-semitic, right? If being a jew doesn't mean that much, but at the same time you guys constantly bring up how many jews are a part of the "cabal" - a supposedly evil organization bent on world domination and war - it just seems like at the end of the day it really isn't about the zionists, but the jews.

I've been told that you can be a zionist and not be a jew; ok, sure. So why do I only hear about the jews? Please tell me why it's ALWAYS about the jews?

Well we totally need to design the system so people cannot take advantage of it. That's literally the core principle of the best systems: make it idiot proof. It's a horrible idea to just trust random people to do the right thing, eventually they won't and that's where things go wrong. It's very easy to just not go near the edge of a building, but we have guard rails for the idiots who just don't get it. Same goes for any design; if a human can fuck it up in some way they will fuck it up in some way, intentionally or not.

Sanctioned suicide isn't advocating for people to commit suicide, it's supporting those that have already made the decision. Watchpeopledie is also passively watching death, not advocating or trying to incite death.

The clear difference in u/magnora7's judgement of these three subs is right in his post:

I can see what you're saying. I use the word "love" a lot because I've always been under the impression that those you love would know you the best, but my main point is I just don't feel "connected" to others. I like other people obviously and I am able to form bonds, but I just feel like it could be more. I don't know how I can make that bond "deeper" though.

I just feel like I'm missing something, you know? I feel like I should be feeling a certain way when I'm not and maybe that has to do with your last point:

Maybe, like maybe because i don't know, to open up you might need to know yourself a bit more. Helped me out.

I struggle with this so much as I get older. I just don't know what I can do to understand the person I am any more, you know? How do I know when I've comprehended myself fully? Will I ever? There's been times when I've thought I've known who I was, but I always end up doing something (sometimes a good thing, sometimes a bad thing) that shows I'm capable of much more than I knew.

Sometimes I'm in a situation where I have thoughts/feelings that contradict eachother. How can I say I know anything about myself when I don't even know how to feel? It all just gets so confusing and the deeper I think about myself and my wants/needs/thoughts/past actions the more "lost" I get. It doesn't help that revealing those parts of me, the parts that may help others get to know me better, feels somehow so vulnerable. Maybe that's my issue? Maybe I'm afraid of being taken advantage of by letting others in?

I personally don't see much of a problem with porn, but lets be real here:

Ooh! If you love the human form, you can discuss the unique features of any part of the person's body. :3

We ALL know this is bullshit. There's no actual discussion within porn; at least none that is thought provoking. You're masturbating, not writing up a lecture I mean come on now.

Are there thought provoking discussions about porn? Sure, but I've NEVER seen an actual well thought out debate on gonewild or pornhub or any blatant pornographic site/sub.

Lets not act as if the creepy guy talking about a chicks ass is trying to start an open discussion on the female body. Can't make much of an argument when you're stroking your dick with one hand and typing with the other.

Why not go the middle route. Not guidelines, but principles? Encourage, but don't moderate, content that agrees with principles and ignore those that don't. They aren't strictly followed rules, but ideals we should follow.

You could say the debate pyramid is one of those principles, but maybe we should add more? That way we don't run into /u/sawboss' problem of this becoming a dictatorship while satisfying your problem with the lack of culture. We don't need to ban or punish those that go against our principles, just follow them (the principles) and promote them throughout the site.

They're great fish and are like little submarines. Not very quick or bright, but man are they pretty. Mine played well with the other fish and it was fun watching them move. They sort of "float" through the water instead of "swim".

I remember when I was like 16 or so I saw a man at one of those kiosks in the middle of the hallway. They usually sell overpriced helicopters, shirts, and stuff like that. This man, though, was holding a cigarette in his hand and as he inhaled it lit up!

I remember being kinda shocked at first. Dude is just smoking a cig in the middle of the mall?! It was when I got closer I realized it wasn't a cig at all, but an e-cig. My dad had smoked all my life so I knew the smell of cigs pretty well and this had no smell at all.

I just remember thinking "Wow, they can do that?!" It really made me take a step back. It might seem tame today now with Juul on the rise and vaping being mainstream, but you need to realize this was way before all of that.

Now that I know how ecigs work they aren't some revolutionary technology, but it was fascinating seeing it for the first time. It was almost like magic.

I agree 100%. I actually JUST posted in a conspiracy thread. I myself am very skeptical of conspiracies and I find myself very opposed to most of them (mostly due to logical flaws and giving speculation waaaay too much merit). One fear I had while making the post was the possibility for being banned. I will most likely make more contrarian posts on that sub and my fear is that I will be seen as "An MSM shill" and thus banned from posting. It's the most worrying with conspiracy theorists as they tend to easily shut out and completely disregard anyone who agrees with any kind of MSM narrative, no matter how justified/backed up it is.

I hope we can all just realize we're all people with our own lives. We all are just trying to speak our minds and converse. We aren't some stereotype or some strawman. People rarely do things in malice and on the contrary most people disagree because they think what they believe will be best for other people and themselves; they just have different routes towards the same goal.

I hope we can all understand those simple facts and learn from each other. I hope others have the critical thinking the prove when they are right and the strength to admit when they are wrong.

While I agree with this quote in its entirety, there's always a little voice in the back of my head that speaks up in regards to certain ideologies and their tendencies to call for violence or oppression.

Is inciting violence ok? Is calling for other's rights to be oppressed ok?

If the answer to either of these questions is "no", then what is the next course of action? I don't want to live in a world where I am censored, but I also don't want to live in a world where dangerous and oppressive ideologies can easily propagate. If a certain message is proven to rile people up and be objectively dangerous to society, how do we deal with those issues without becoming hypocrites? You may say reason will triumph, but humanity has shown many times throughout history that the most extreme and dangerous mentalities have no regard for reason.

First of all: I am speaking of mass shootings, not terrorism, but whatever potayto-potahtoh.

Second: I'm claiming that gun laws seem to be very ineffective at deterring attacks. Whether there are guns or aren't, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference.

So, with that out of the way, you're still incorrect. If anything, terrorism is on the RISE within the U.S. Europe had a rough time pre-2000's, but since the new millenia they've been a surprisingly safe area of the world with very few, if any, terrorist attacks besides that spike in 2015 due to the Paris attacks.

So, again, ARGUING ABOUT GUN LAWS SOLVES NOTHING. THE PRESENCE OR ABSENCE OF GUNS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MASS SHOOTINGS OR TERRORIST ATTACKS. THAT IS THE POINT I'M TRYING TO MAKE:

I'm claiming guns won't solve the issue as in my example there are plenty of countries with stricter gun laws yet less mass shootings which kinda contradicts that point. If guns deterred violence then you'd expect the places with the most guns would be the least violent, but there are countries that have much stricter guns laws that have either zero or very few mass shootings.

Yeah, I'm glad you can see my point now. I'm all for decriminalization of all drugs tbh, for reasons I've already listed. I don't think it's a bad thing at all, but I think legalization is the ultimate goal.

I don't want monopolization over the marijuana industry either and I'll fight right alongside you for laws that allow us regular Joe's to open up small businesses in that market. I can understand your worries on that front, but that's why we need to focus on the actual issue: lobbying (something I'm vehemently against. It's basically a legal bribe and it's corrupt as hell).

I completely understand your worries about over-regulation within the industry as well. I agree; we should be cautious of the laws introduced and "go over them with a fine toothed comb" because as you've stated: huge companies will be looking to stomp out any and all competition through standards that smaller companies just cannot compete with (such as high fees for licensing or expensive materials required to be up to standard as an example). I'm not completely against regulation, though. I feel it's necessary to protect the consumer and the workers within any industry (see the 1920's meat industry for an example of how no regulations can harm and even kill people). I understand your fears of over-regulation and how harmful that can be for small business, but the solution isn't to keep it decriminalized, it's to fight to create a system that benefits small business and the consumer equally, while reigning in the larger corporations to avoid monopolies.

Decriminalization = I won't be murdered for smoking the kush or growing it how I please

Decriminalization means you cannot produce or sell the item. So, no you cannot grow your own weed, you can just own it. This still gives the government power to arrest you for growing a plant in your back yard and also gives the cartels (who rape, murder, and torture thousands) power.

Legalization with cronyist ideologues = It's not decriminalized stupid, ....

That's true of literally anything legalized, it's unavoidable if you live within the USA. I'm sorry bud, but if you don't like it then leave. Also, how horrible to have standards and practices! I can't just sell you bunk weed and I have to adhere to regulations?! Oh the humanity! I'm guessing we should go back to the days when the meat industry literally cost you an arm and a leg to work within as well.

Now decriminalization is great, but legalization needs to be adequately moderated and written into law by the locals and community, not by corporate lobbyists

Then fight against lobbying laws, don't spread this bullshit about legalization. Your problem is with lobbying, which I wholeheartedly agree with, yet your misconstruing it with legalization when they're two completely separate issues.

DECRIMINALIZATION IS NOT THE SAME THING AS LEGALIZATION. I'm for out right decriminalizing marijuana for a competitive market to spring up locally, everywhere. Decriminalization means, you will not be arrested, unlike legalization, where if you don't pay you monstrous fees for growing a few plants, "say hello to the SWAT Team."

Again, you don't understand what you're talking about. Decriminalization means you CANNOT FORM A MARKET AROUND IT because you can't sell it or buy it! You can only own it, which again, provides criminals, cartel members, gangsters, and every other scumbag a market to profit off of.

Please, explain my fascist thinking? Is it facsist to NOT what centralization of power through legalization with obvious cathes, but I instead want OUTRIGHT decriminalization of marijuana. Not sure what you're not getting?

Because you misunderstand your own argument and you don't understand what decriminalization actually means. It changes NOTHING about the current system and only benefits those who already own weed. You can still get sent to prison for selling large quantities, you can still go to prison for buying weed. You're still giving the police and in turn the government the vast majority of power over the situation.

My statement at the end, while slightly immature, is implying that you are uninformed about how this works and you should not vote because of that. I'm saying you are holding back progress and keeping things largely the same by voting the way I predict you'll vote.

[–]Zombi 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I'm disputing that just because someone follows more mainstream beliefs doesn't automatically qualify them as a "shill". The word shill is used to discredit someone solely based on an ad hominem attack. No matter what anyone says it will not matter as long as they are a shill. Hence there's zero counterargument when you label someone as a shill. It's anti-intellectual.

If you're truly right in your stance then you shouldn't have to resort to name calling. Whether someone truly is a shill or not should have no bearing on what the points they're making. If their points aren't valid then it doesn't matter who they are or who's paying them, you should be able to rationally argue against them.

Imagine if I just said "Oh you're just a conspiracy theorist, I don't give credit to anything you say". I might joke a bit or laugh at you, but I sincerely try to level with you guys and I do try to hear you out. It's lazy to just discredit someone and name call because they believe something you don't.

We care that other adults want to buy a kid a fucking dildo, we could give a shit less about if the kid is masturbating. There's a difference between saying masturbation is ok and buying someone a goddamn dildo.

Edit: Just thought of the perfect analogy. It's like saying buying your 16 year old shots is just like telling them it's ok to drink because they can't control that. No, it's not OK to buy your kid liquor, it's fine to be reasonable though and not punish them for doing something everyone else is doing (drinking).

People saying he should buy his child a sex toy are completely missing the point. He's not "repressing her sexuality" by not buying her a dildo, what the fuck. The kid can use her hands just like every other kid her age. Sexually repressing her would be making her wear a chastity belt. How fucking weird do you have to be to think giving your kid a sex toy is in any way OK? Let alone a 12 year old. This is exactly why I left reddit.

Imagine buying your mom a dildo. Imagine buying your dad a fleshlight. It's sort of crossing a line. Again, I just wanna reiterate that I understand 12 year olds are learning about this stuff and sure, maybe a talk is in order. There's a mountain of difference between speaking to your child about safe sex and masturbation and buying them a dildo, though. The kid isn't going to be traumatized by having to resort to showerheads and toothbrushes. She'll be fine without the dildo meant for adults that are 18+.

I know we're the ones who set up Al-Qaeda and I don't deny we've done something similar with ISIS. I just don't agree that they're our mercenaries. I think we may provide them with, uh, assistance, but not actually control them.

Now this is what I'm talking about! Thank you for the detailed and sourced response. I will be checking this out when I get off work. I appreciate it :).

Do I find it odd? Sure, it is odd and if it ended at that I wouldn't have said anything. I also find it odd that ISIS is even a thing in the first place; I find their entire ideology odd. There are tons of odd things in this world, but that doesn't make them a conspiracy.

If you show me convincing evidence (not conjecture) that they are mercenaries for the U.S. then I'll change my tune, but all I've seen is stuff like what's in OP: very loose connections. Like how OP uses toyota trucks as "evidence". Yet there's no evidence of who supplied those trucks to them, we just know that they're made in Texas. It's one thing to assume and form the opinion that they U.S. supplied them, it's another to have verifiable evidence that they did.

What is intelligence to you? Does a genius need to be intelligent to be considered a genius? by Zombi in AskSaidIt

I feel everyone is a genius when it comes to something. I don't believe you need to be "smart" to be a genius either as I've been proven wrong on that front. I think intelligence comes in many different forms. To me, our definition of what makes someone intelligent is very narrow and doesn't take into account its many forms.

As an example, it's like saying "blue" is the only thing that is a color. So in order for anything to be considered "colorful" it must have blue in it, when in reality there are far more colors than just blue. There are colors we can see and are used all the time, then there are colors we have no way of truly "seeing" like ultraviolet and infrared light. Yet even if we can't see those colors, they're still there and they're still just as valid as other colors.

I feel that genius is creatively applied intelligence. If you are intelligent in an area and you apply that intelligence in the right way, you are then a genius. Of course there are tons of intelligent people who apply it in the completely wrong way. Now what is "the right way"? I don't know, really. You just know it when you see it, there isn't a concrete definition for that.

If you think genocide will solve anything you're extremely misguided. There will always be problems and there have been many genocides throughout history yet somehow there's still problems.

Blaming an entire race for your problems is really just scapegoating. It's being delusional and refusing the accept the fact that everyone, including you reading this, is kinda shitty in their own way. I've interacted with many assholes in my life (I've even been one!) of all races. People will always cause problems; it's just what we do.

You came here for free speech and sure, that's fine say whatever you want. That doesn't make your views any less ignorant or retarded. This is just an excuse to be blatantly racist under the coat of paint known as free speech.

LOL.

Good job refuting my claim with... nothing?

Check the child mortality 300 years ago, you give the wrong number,it's not 80%.

Obviously I'm not quoting a direct statistic here. If you REALLY want me to then I can, but it's a very well known fact that both abuse and mortality was MUCH worse 300 years ago compared to today. The statistics of life expectancy are skewed so far down BECAUSE of infant/child mortality. If you lived to adulthood it was very common to make it into your 60's and even older.

There is no daycare at that era.

Yes, because children were doing hard manual labor when not in school, if they even went to school in the first place. What is better for a child, gaining an education or working your hands to the bone in a rye field?

LOL. We live longer, but not healthier.

That's completely up to the individual. You certainly have the option to eat MUCH more nutritious food in today's society than even 50 years ago. Nobody is forcing anyone to eat McDonalds every day. On average height and weight have increased due to our food being much more nutritious than 300 years ago. This is, again, a fact. The fact that people CHOOSE to eat worse doesn't mean that our food is actually worse, we have the much more variety and nutrition within our food than we had back then.
