This article from "PoliticoPro" - CBO: Center tasked with saving Medicare money falls short - is behind a paywall. I would love to read it, and possibly pass it on elsewhere. I believe that ACO REACH is one of the anti-cost saving "inovative" payment systems in the headline. It starts out: The Congressional Budget Office released an updated estimate Thursday that shows the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, created under Obamacare to test new ways to pay for health care, will increase federal spending by $1.3 billion from 2021 to 2030. From 2011 through 2020, the center increased spending by $5.4 billion.

The updated estimates, based on reviews of 49 payment models CMMI has launched since its creation in 2010, are far below initial projections. In 2010, CBO projected CMMI would reduce spending by $2.8 billion over 10 years.
