If all cells can turn into sperm and egg, why doesn't that mean everyone is both men and women at the same time? by UwUUwU in GenderCriticalGuys

Only from an abstract, ivory-tower point of view

What does this mean? Gametes are what determines sex from a scientific view. English is not my first language so please correct me if I'm mistaken, but you sound like you're against GC? What are you doing in a GC subreddit if you're against GC?

What's with "GC considering something female" and "TRAs recognizing something as female" as though TRAs are "right"? It doesn't matter what TRAs "consider" or "recognize" as female because they base everything on "feelings"

I don't understand this ...

Gametes are important. They are literally what determines and defines sex. It's not there to "tease" the TRAs. It's what should be paid attention to

I have a question. Do people with ovotesticular and persistent mullerian duct syndrome have both testes and ovaries?

I know you said people with ovotesticular and persistent mullerian duct syndrome don't have both testes and ovaries, but u/VioletRemi claimed they do have both ovaries and testes, and so if you could clear that up here for someone like this that has such an influence on people, I'd be grateful

What on earth are "dinguses"?

Noone in humans has both functioning genitalia at once. Yeah, there are men with disorders that lead to them having disordered "uteruses", but they have no ovaries.

A hermaphrodite is both a man and a woman, and has both set of male and female sex organs. No human can have that.

Also, since a hermaphrodite is both a man and a woman, it's false to call them "women with penises" and "men with vaginas". One part of them is a woman, which has the female sex organs, and the other part is a man, which has the male sex organs, so hermaphrodites are technically "men with penises" and "women with vaginas" in one body.

Do you have arguments against the claim that "all embryos are inherently female and start as female"? by UwUUwU in whatever

Why would it matter? Most people on this website (or anywhere) are strange.

Your comment sounds like some "straight" agenda bullshit.

Anyway, yes there's some "tranny" agenda behind the claims in the post, but please focus on the questions and don't associate the TQ with LGB. There are many openly LGB people that are tired of TQ.

Yeah, I'm tired of people calling someone a troll just because they ask a question. My posts on GC subs got removed for that, so I posted here.

Do you have arguments against the claim that "all embryos are inherently female and start as female"?

I posted a similar question on the r/biology of reddit, and the answers I got were that humans start as female and change to male if SRY gene is activated which is why men have nipples, and that if the signal is not activated, it leads to "intersex" conditions.

Here too we see the same claim that embryos start as female: https://imgur.com/JqfQA1p

All vertebrate embryos are inherently female. They just require an extra hormone at the right developmental stage to make them male

There are species like lizards in which sex is claimed to change in embryos if temperature changes? At least that's what I read ...

So do you have arguments against the claim that "embryos start as female and change sex from female to male during their development"?
