The following facts hurt people's feelings:

Martha P Johnson wasn't trans and didn't throw the first brick. The USA didn't invent the gay liberation movement.

White transwomen have the lowest murder rate in the world out of any demographic.

The vast majority of murdered transwomen were not murdered in hate crimes.

Intersex people are still classified as either male or female. They're is no such thing as an intersex person that is both.

Men are significantly more likely to be raped by another man than they are to be falsely accused of rape by a woman.

The vast majority of men don't seek custody of their own kids. Over 90% of custody agreements are made outside of the court. 75% of men who seek custody will get it.

If you've only ever been with men your whole life and suddenly your spouse transitions, you're not suddenly a lesbian.

The majority of pressure new moms get to be perfect are from other women.

The majority of LGBT spaces are filled with bored straight chicks that see as us as a cool fashion accessory to pat themselves on the back. Pink haired straight white chicks are more rabid and vicious towards lesbians over our sexual boundaries than transwomen.

From the letter:

** I have long posted news items and opinion pieces to SSSS’s member listserv. In July, I posted an essay of my own, When is a TERF not a TERF, challenging the extremism that has taken over public discussion of trans issues, pointing out, for example, that the unwillingness ever to recognize anyone’s transition is different from citing the research suggesting children should wait until age 12 to transition.

A debate ensued, not focused on any argument or evidence submitted, but on whether such discussions should even be permitted. The cessation of open, critical discussion is antithetical to the purpose of a scientific society. Participating in the debate were three SSSS Board members and roughly a dozen general members, expressing a roughly 50/50 opinion **

I had a friend in college come out to me as a trans women, then asked to have sex with me because he was still ok with his penis.

I girl I briefly dated transitioned to male. I cut ties before they transitioned because they were acting very inappropriately towards my now wife.

A roommate I had in college transitioned to male years after I cut ties. They were the most miserable, biphobic, control freak I have ever met.

During college another male was in the middle of transitioning to female. I had no real interaction with them at the time but I did run into them after transition. I didn't have any issues.

I met a few TW that were years after their transition. I ghosted one after they went off the deep-end.

I have a distant cousin that's FTM, didn't have much interaction with them tho.

A friend's adult child is currently transitioning or at least trying to figure themself out.

The vast majority of "autistic" adults in online communities are self-diagnosed.

Whenever I see the discussion of gender come up, it's the majority of those that ID as non-binary or trans are the self-DXers.

Most of those that are diagnosed I find are more laid back and don't actually care.

I think what people are assuming is autism in relation to gender bullshit is actually one of many personality disorders that mimic ASD. I saw one discussion go south when an autist pointed that many of the self-DXers were describing symptoms of schizophrenia/ schizotypal personality traits and not ASD in one of their many "does anyone else" posts.

I'm married. I live in Canada.

We have benefits that we'd otherwise not have if we weren't married. Some provinces have common-law marriage as a thing if you don't want to have legal marriage. However the rights and benefits are limited. Fur example, if become incapacitating my wife automatically is my power of attorney and can make medical decisions on my behalf. If we were just common law, she couldn't, my next blood relative would be.

You'd have to look into what benefits marriage provides for you in your country to see if it's worth it. It's more than "just a piece of paper" in some circumstance.

AL goes private after a thread gets blown up accusing the mods of being associated with pedo supporter Aimee Knight. by Tovasshi in LGBDropTheT

I'm certain that's what prompted the post.

In blank_cheques post about private subs there was a whole thread about AL and their connection to pedo mods.

I think the trans cult takes advantage of autistic people by RoundFrog in GenderCritical

Schizotypal personality traits shares a lot of features with ASD and can be comorbid. But they typically have physical disconnect with their bodied self. Their brain doesn't compute what their body does to itself as itself. It views its own body as alien. They also have issues with reality vs fantasy.

People with Schizotypal personality score higher on ASD than neuroatypical and often get diagnosed with it or self-DX as ASD.

Many self-diagnosed autistist look more like schizotypal than autists to me. They're very aggressive in their beliefs and can't be reasoned with. Whenever the gender discussion comes up with just diagnosed autists, it's calm and mature. But once the communities opened up to self-DXers the conversation became hostile and the number of trans and NB increased.

Would you guys vote for... Trump? by joy1090 in LGBDropTheT

I'm Canadian. It blows my fucking mind that anyone could still support Trump. The US is currently falling apart under his command... people are dying. Homelessness and unemoyment is going up. Medical debts are piling up. International relations are fucked. The economy is fucked. Hes selling out his own people to Russia and you want to vote him back in because you think it's the other party's fault... JFC.

The first example happened in Canada and the transwomen lost the lawsuit.

Anyone else really hate drag? by [deleted] in Lesbians

Depends.

If they're wearing a chest rig and trying to be a caricature of womanhood (Gia Gunn, Alyssa Edwards, etc) I cringe. If its more artistic or androgynous (like Aquaria, Bob the drag Queen, Sasha Valour), I'm all for it.

The best thing I've done for my wallet and self-worth was make my own toiletries at home. So much better for the environment too.

There's hundreds of blog posts with recipes that are easy to find.

I haven't bought soap, shampoo or conditioner in over a year.
