Unfortunately, the smart kids have to sit in the same classrooms as the dumb ones. We have to dumb everything down to the least intelligent students, because God forbid someone get's their feelings hurt when they constantly do worse than the rest of the kids in the classroom.

Dumbing everyone down is just part of what will ultimately make them 100% unable to take care of themselves as adults, and 100% make them rely on the government for all of their needs. They'll become slaves at that point, doing whatever menial task they are told, just so they can survive.

I've been using Lithium Ion batteries for years in electric RC. They are, as u/iamonlyoneman states, extremely vulnerable to discharging or charging too fast, or discharging or charging too much. Lion batteries should never be discharged below 20% remaining capacity. Doing so, damages the cells. Too see how violent this is, with a Lion battery consisting of just 4 cells is, check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nrsoMsEMNU. Go to the 5:50 mark in the video.

Now, I don't know how many cells those buses have, but the explosion and fireball out the side of the bus in the video is classic Lion battery explosion.

I am unvaccinated and had covid last week; for the first time. So did a vaccinated person I know, unknown if first time or not, but believe so. Was bad for me for about 12-16 hours, and then lingered as a sore throat and cough for 4 more days. Was bad for the vaccinated person for 4-5 days, and then lingered on for another 3-4 days. I should also add that I am much older (probably twice as old, at least) and in far worse "shape" than he is.

Though I'm sure there are cases, I'm not personally aware of any unvaccinated person that experienced worse effects from covid, compared to the vaccinated.

I have / do. I bought a DE filter for my pool this year. Best thing I ever did. Didn't have to add hardly anything for chemicals all year and it stayed balanced (maybe a total of 1 gallon of muriatic acid, not including initial balance in the spring), so it has actually pretty much paid for itself already and required a lot less work on my part. Now, the sand filter I had previously, well, that was a constant pain in the ass.

I'd think something like is shown here would need to be pumped out. Yeah, it takes some time, but in the end, that's going to be the best and quickest way.

Once Walmart, Home Depot, airports, and everything else closed down because nobody went to work, then shit would change really fast because the huge corporations would start bleeding money, and well, if no one is working, then the government gets no taxes either. Wouldn't even need to be all the people. Half would probably do the trick, as it take a certain minimum number of people to run any business. Of course, this will never happen, even though it would be the most effective way to get things changed quickly.

It is because they have wealth, not income. Income is taxed, wealth isn't.

It's complete BS, but that's the reason why. It's all legal, thanks to how the laws are written to always favor the wealthy.

I don't even do that. I'll only put one on (temporarily), if they specifically ask me to, and provide one. I take if off and accidentally leave it on a shelf somewhere in the store. The only place I wear one it as work, because they require it, and because, well, I kinda need the paycheck! I take the dirty glares from the sheep in masks as a badge of honor as I walk about in stores doing my thing without a mask on. Sometimes I'll even let out a little snicker at those who glare at me!

Bingo! The first time I started figuring this out was in the Bush 2.0 election, and didn't participate in it, or any election since then. All I hear is people telling me I have a patriotic "duty" to vote. I tell them, No, I have a patriotic duty to not vote, to not play their game. bUt YoUr VoTe mAtTeRs, they tell me. I let them know that, in fact, it does not matter, and neither does theirs and that these parties are two sides of the same coin and the powers that be will install the person they want, regardless of what voters want. If that is not apparent in this election, then it never will be. I too, have said the only way to end this is to, as you mentioned, hold a national strike on voting, but we are incapable as a country to come together for any worthwhile cause, because too many people are sheep and believe whatever big tech, the media, and government tells them to believe.

I really don't understand people who dump one social media platform, and then just sign up for another one, thinking that somehow the results will be any different. Might be a bit better for a little bit, but it won't last. I offer you Parler as an example! Several friends of mine "stopped" using FB and went to Parler and asked me to. Yeah, that sounds like a great idea, what could possibly go wrong? I did the dump Facebook part, but sure as hell didn't go sign up for Parler.

Agreed! We live in a throw-away society anymore. Companies build stuff just good enough to make it through the warranty period and maybe a bit longer. Then you throw it away and buy another one. People used to get TVs fixed, quality boots and shoes resoled, appliances repaired, Not any more though, Throw it out and buy new. A big part of the blame (most of it, actually) lies with the companies that make the crap. They build it like crap on purpose, fully knowing you'll throw it away and but more, in their quest for the almighty dollar! Speaking of quality tools, I was fortunate enough to buy a nice set of Snap On tools and a top and bottom tool box (Napa, to save a few bucks) when I went to a tech school for aviation maintenance. That was 1991, and I still have all if it, and it all still works, and it is all still in great condition. 30 years old, and I'm sure it will last for another 30. They certainly don't build stuff like that anymore!

I challenge any phone junkie to turn their off for 24 hours.

Funny you should mention this. I decided four days ago (Jan 5th) to do just that. I have had my phone on only when I needed to make a call since then, and once when my wife asked me to in order to get hold of me if she needed to. I wouldn't classify myself as a phone Junkie though. I didn't do it because of apps though. I did it because I'm sick of Google tracking my life 24 hours a day. I decided enough, and keep my phone off now. It was WAY easier than I thought it was going to be. Your phone needs you more than you need it, and I decided I was going to change that. I lived just fine for 30 years without a cell phone, I think I'll do just fine again. *edited to put date in
