The situtation in the West, the US and EU, is like neither, because now there is an elitist push to get the UN to become a one world government with more power than the EU has over its individual countries. International Red Cross data that used to be easy to fidn online claimed that just under 300,000 people died in German camps. That's a lot of people. But, it's not six million. Apparently the six million figure was used to convince the US and UN to award Palestine to the Jews, who claimed to have lost 2 out of 3 Jews in Europe during the war. The IRC also stated that there were 2.3 million prisoners in the camps total. It's impossible to kill six million people when fewer than that number were there to start with.
Nasty shit happened. We're lied to about the scale of it, however.

[–]Timmy 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun - 26 days ago (0 children)
One of the ISP's that received billions of dollars was Frontier, not a cable company, but a regional phone company that promised to install fiber for rural business and farmers. Every year they told customers that it was still in the works, wait until next year. In the meantime they suffered with 1-mbs DSL, which often was much slower. What Frontier actually did was buy up a bunch of rickety copper lines from Verizon thinking they can continue gouge land line customers, in an age of cell service So, they lost money. Was there ever any punishment for their fraud? Hell, no. All they have to do is keep promising that "someday" it will happen. The FCC says "we're all good then", It's a shame the US is so damned corrupted from corporations paying elected officials through lobby and PAC money.
