I'm really not sure exactly how to reply to this specific update. My only minor complaint would be this: I wish they would have made invisible "continental shelf" borders instead of nets. It's kind of weird having nets around the entire "deserted" island. But there are not nets on every side. Does this mean there might be more content on the sides without (or the sides with) nets?

Frankly I agree. Considering the parallels between Disco and City Pop they could have done much more with the song. As it stands it sounds like a Plastic Love remix

Ah yeah, maybe should have been more clear, it's only for duplicate subs. Like if there was s/SmashBros and s/SmashBrothers only one could be included. Afaik there's only one sub for arena fps!

I think restricting the sub to women is going to bring about major growth issues. There's a lot of progressive men on this site who are dying to get away from the alt-right spaces and talk sense. By locking them out, you're locking out good content.

It's a tempting, natural reaction to want this place to be just for women but, what's the point? Like not in theory, in reality. What has it ever accomplished? Sure there's personal stories and sensitive topics that are best shared with a trusted group, but IME the women have been just as vitriolic as the men.

Great in theory but I feel like the highest point on the pyramid will turn into "upvote" and the lower rungs will turn into "fractions of upvotes." You see this on Amazon -- anything less than a 5-star review is considered sub-par, even though it's not supposed to work that way.

I think the "slow drip content" strategy is pretty genius. They've proved that they have a strong backlog of content through the recent updates. Sure it would be nice to have all the content at once, but I'll trade that for a fresh and active community.

If reddit is 16-22 or so then I'd say saidit is probably 20-26 or so.

I like how Saidit feels like a big community. You get used to seeing a lot of familiar names and interaction between the same people on different posts. You even see the founders of this website in threads daily. It really feels unique. by Wrang1er in whatever
