Sounds like they are a bisexual trying to make the lesbian label harder for others. Why do they like taking the label? Ugh!

Effing Dykes is an awesome lesbian blog, though the writer has taken some sort of hiatus due to the death of her parent. The blog has great humor and loads of content. Worth the look in my opinion.

All of it, man. The feeling of butterflies when you get somewhere with a girl and the honeymoon phase. After honeymoon phase when you are both relaxed but still get those butterflies off and on. The feeling of unity with your gay friends and being completely out. The few pains growing up around those who dont accept was still worth it in the end. They weren't worth my time.

Getting ready for spooky season. What are your favorite horror movies? by [deleted] in Lesbians

The Conjuring - First movie was the only one to get some good jumps from me. I also enjoy the cult classics from the 80's. The newer IT movies were good but man that new chuckie movie was so bad!

Midsommar was great. I watched it the first time alone in theaters and was so shocked halfway through 😂.

I fucking hate non binary as a designation for masculine lesbians. by [deleted] in Lesbians

[–]Tarohan 32 insightful - 1 fun32 insightful - 0 fun33 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Ugh for real. I am butch but i am always being asked my pronouns and if I identify as anything else. Like no dude, not all chicks are glitter and hot pink. Women can be tough, badasses, and like 'male hobbies'. I think these genderqueer and trans people are making these gender role 'guidelines' more strict at times by doing that. I dont know. Interesting times.

I get you. In general, I feel gender roles should be more relaxed. I mean some have gotten to the extremes to light forests on fire for announcing baby boys. 😂 c'mon folks.

"bisexuals are oppressed because lesbians dont wanna date them" cry me a river by lmaonope333 in Lesbians

Boo hoo. Respect that the other party is not interested and move on. There are plenty of Bi and trans people to push yourself onto. Why do they always corner the lesbians and make us look like we are the assholes for not being interested? 😩

My lesbian ex just came out as queer and nonbinary. by sickofit in Lesbians

Oh my god, I cant. Why are there lesbians so afraid of the lesbian label and those who love it and brag (Bi's and others) misuse it? 😩 Oof.

I agree! For the longest time time when i was younger and trying to figure out my sexuality, i would avoid the term 'lesbian'. It's hard getting past that wording because of the negative connotations that were taught to me or just shown around me. But I have embraced it and i think its important for other lesbians to as well. We are not all those stereotypes and I have only encountered beautiful women who dont always conform the men's wants.
