Men arrested for breaking into Dallas County Courthouse after judicial branch hires them to test 'vulnerability' of court records by Mnemonic in Internet

Wow, that's a pretty low-down trick, asking them to test security then saying "oh, we didn't expect them to do it THAT way, y'know, like a real criminal would".

That should warrant investigation, but not arrest. The fact that such a statement said in a public chatroom will mean you may face a felony is scary.

look at this fuckin boomer thinking he's better because he lives like an ape. sure it's not hard to not have any money and act like that's a virtue like come on. you know what is hard? getting promoted and working for more money so you can buy cars for other people instead of living a selfish caveman life. everyone needs a car these days especially in america bcz the roads are so long. plus i can tell you don't give a shit about charities, and i mean the good ones too. how much money do you make? you probably live off food stamps given to you by richer people paying your bills.

UK Adverts must now avoid "harmful gender stereotypes" in all advertising. This includes as an example "An ad depicting a man with his feet up and family members creating a mess around a home whilst a woman is solely responsible for cleaning the mess" by magnora7 in news

I was going to mention, there are multiple documentaries and leaked footages available of actual botched lethal injections, and the recipients often go through way more pain and humiliation than they would if they were just shot. Death by firing squad is respectful, efficient, and humane. No idea why people seem so opposed to it and still see the injection of unreliable drugs into someone's groin by a medical assistant as a better way to go out.

I'm all for change from where we're headed, 100%. But the people to direct our aggression towards aren't the rich, I agree. It's odd how much people want to "rebel" against the wealthy when a massive part of our issues comes from representatives not doing what we want them to. In theory, our neverending wartime could be easily ended by repealing "The New Deal".

Isn't the statement on this meme objectively sexist? by sawboss in MeanwhileOnReddit

[–]SpeakEasy 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

In the purest form of objectivity, sure. But then, in pure objectivity, I'd argue sexism doesn't exist, since it's a social construct.

It's making a generalization based off our society's residual stigma that most girls will/should become mothers. It also follows the trend of proclaiming that the actions of young people now will be the ones to foster the next generation, which is common for men as well. So, I don't believe it to be sexist, objectively or referentially. It's just one of those societal tropes that's persisted since time began. Go forth and have/don't have children!
