I used to not really care so much. I was a pretty big supporter of LGB rights and surely the T was deserving of the same thoughtfulness, correct? Ha! Oh sweet summer child...

I know a lot of trans people in real life, as I have interests in a few subcultures that really cater to them. I have had terrible experiences with so many of them, at this point I just avoid them at almost any cost. There is undoubtedly a high percentage of mental health co-morbidities that comes along with "transgenderism", and it is not something I need to make room for in my life at all.

Also it makes no sense. No, you are not born into the wrong body, no you do not have a gendered imaginary soul, that's not how any of this works. I am deeply disturbed at the experimental butchery that are sex change operations, the high rate of complications and life long medicalization, and the utter horror of transing children.

At this point the whole agenda seems to be fueled by pornsick men that are either pedophiles or happy to provide a shield for pedophiles, and lost and impressionable youth that are being preyed upon. It seems to be a bit different for female-to-male trans, as we can look at the social contagion aspect and the desire to be different and cool.

I honestly don't remember on which site I read this, but there was a recent article about autogynephilia which gave me some insight. While a huge part of the turn-on is becoming a 'woman' (and thus a dehumanized sexual object), it is also a very important part of the fantasy for them to receive external validation.

Here's my take.

Most transwomen these days are not actually experiencing gender dysphoria (which, like you, I accept as a mental condition that causes hardship and suffering). Most who identify as transwomen are AGP and/or on the spectrum, or are frankly depraved deviants who find acceptance and protection in the wider trans movement.

There is a big crossover between the above-mentioned groups and people who either work in tech or live almost their entire lives virtually (either because it is easier for them to interact with others due to their social issues, or they are in search of other deviants like themselves and find community in the dark corners of the internet). This leads to them having a disproportionately large presence and therefore influence on social media. They know their ideology is built on a house of cards - if they didn't, they wouldn't so hysterically defend it. The minute any sane person starts questioning that house of cards, they fear the exposure and whip themselves up into a frothing frenzy. Their ideology cannot be examined because it ceases to make sense and reveals the dangers inherent in it. And they have no more protection for their fetishes that are looked down upon by wider society with unease at best and disgust at worst.

There is also a large amount of very vulnerable, lonely, impressionable teenagers out there on the internet that get swept up in this movement. We also know teenagers are prone to group violence and bullying, and it's easy enough to feel part of something when you have a common (albeit imaginary) enemy in TERFs, for instance.

I can speak for the U.S. since I work in HR here. It's not likely she'll get fired for this unless there's some other mitigating circumstances we're not being made aware of in this post. It can also depend on where they work and that place's culture - an office job in a halfway decent company will almost certainly not fire her. I also doubt a retail job, warehouse position, or any other blue collar job I can come up with off the top of my head would fire her for being 'transphobic' either. With the insanity of the T in the US, LGBT support has gone down recently. Putting the T front and center is going to do the exact opposite of what they are hoping it will do.

For the past few years, sex work has seriously been pushed as a positive and empowering experience. Especially for women. Anyone that speaks out about the harsh and dehumanizing realities of prostitution is now labeled a SWERF (sex work exclusionary radical feminist). I wish I was making that up.

These girls are privileged and view it as a toe-dip into a seedy and edgy adventure. It is nothing like the desperate situations most prostitutes are actually in.

I never used to think this, but I guess this is what happens when a generation is raised with no real problems and told they are all incredibly special with a great destiny the world owes to them.

What seems especially tragic to me is the complete b.s. these kids are being fed. Honey, you don't have a man's body and you will never have a man's body. You may have a deepened voice and be able to grow facial hair, but your proportions will always be off, your shoulders narrow, your waist curved and hips flared, and a working penis from which you can derive pleasure is nothing more than a fantasy (and that's after torturous and completely unnecessary surgeries).

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but this ideology is quite literally destroying lives. I have seen numerous detrans women who will never get their perfectly healthy breasts back or who will always have a baritone voice. It's so completely infuriating.

That's absolutely the thing - it's no longer the LGBT movement we knew, that had acceptable, reasonable, and measurable goals. It is now quite literally indoctrination into nonsensical gender ideology with constantly moving goal posts. No child should be exposed to that madness.

After observing the trans "community" for several years online, one of the things that strikes me is how they actively recruit. It's rarely an "it's okay to be who you are", it's far more often an aggressive persuasion campaign. These are not mentally healthy people.

Besides the usual male rapey / domination issues going on - these are still heterosexual males, albeit deranged, mentally ill heterosexual males. And they still desire women, and lesbians are their ultimate validation.

There are a lot of men that either intentionally or through completely missed social cues do not understand when women aren't interested in them, and a lot that are also turned on by the idea of force and humiliation.

Here's where I think the divide is, in broad strokes. Women think they understand what men want, but they really don't. Women want safety and security and tenderness. Lots of women like to be lovingly dominated. Men want to fuck, men want to dominate and humiliate and own. Men don't need the emotional connection women crave. And men are still men, no matter what gender they identify as. A huge part of what I find so crazy about this gender bullshit is that transwomen still behave so much like men and they are totally blind to it.

As an example, it would infuriate and frustrate me to no end when I used to date guys, and would think of them lovingly enough to send them a heart emoji, and would get a dick emoji back.
