I'm sorry, I'm not actually old enough to have lived through the holocaust, although as a gay women I absolutely would have been subjected to rape and medical experimentation

Absolutely fascinating. Tell me more please!

I'm Jewish Orthodox. My mother is Jewish, my grandmother is Jewish, my great-grandmother is Jewish and and every grandmother that I have that came before me has been Jewish. Judaism is Matrilineal

I wouldn't argue with the Pope about being Catholic so kindly don't argue with me about being Jewish.

  • If your mother was born Jewish then you can be an atheist Jew. If your mother was not born Jewish then you can not become Jewish.

  • I'm fairly certain that 99.9% of all Christian denominations will require that you believe in G-d.

  • Islam will have zero tolerance towards atheists.

There are 2 things that you've written that jump out at me:

  • 1. You can't go "looking" for a religion that "works" for you. Religion doesn't validate or confirm what you already believe. In fact, it does the exact opposite by challenging your beliefs and curtailing your behaviors. Faith in G-d, is best thought of as medicine. From time to time it may taste bad but it's making you a much healthier person.

I'm strict Jewish Orthodox (Hasidic) and I've been down the road of shopping for a faith that better suited the lifestyle that I wanted to have. In the end, my quest for a religion that validated my world view only brought me a lot of pain and suffering.

  • 2. There is no Trad Wife organization or any kind of Trad rule book. If you want to be an atheist and live like a 1950s housewife and stay at home mom, then there's nothing stopping you. The only problem that you're going to have is finding a community that shares your lifestyle /values. By comparison most Orthodox religions will have a community of people that will share your lifestyle /values.

Irregular means you might be a day or two early or late. For knowing if you're pregnant perhaps you can do what I do. My 99 cents only store has tests and I picked up bunch because they're cheap. So if you're late by a day or two then just take a test.

I found at a garage sale a very dusty and fragile dress from the Victorian era. Because I'm a seamstress, I took the entire dress apart and made LOTS of notes and created a pattern from it. Then I busied myself repairing it and putting it back together. Before the insanity of 2020 started I was working on making my own dress based on it.

The woman is nuts. She's part of this current trend of playing the victim plus she's lesbian. It wasn't that long ago that I was believing that I was living as a lesbian. Needless to say, I didn't meet too many that were pro-family or pro-males. There was a lot of claims that they were but there always remained an underlying arrogance that they were somehow better than men and that women that loved men were 'misguided.'

It's a mental illness and the best way to handle the mentally ill is to not argue with them. Just be polite to them and they'll eventually get bored and walk away.

But I've said no such thing. In fact, I've said quite the opposite and I really want to read all of what you have to share. Please continue, you have a wealth load of information that I very much value.

I have to dress very modest and demure for my faith and the community that I live in. A good bullet bra that enhances my form is one of the ways that I can cheat on the dress code. So they really do make a difference.

Jewish law is very clear that the child of a Jewish mother is Jewish and not the father. It has been this way since we were given the Torah. On the other hand the priesthood is patrilineal.

Actually there’s several great free classes and phenomenal books I could pass along if you like.

No I think I prefer to get the information directly from you. Because you know, growing up Hasidic meant that I only could learn about the Holocaust in synagogue, the Jewish Library, during shabbos every week and from all those old survivors that just kept on living. Maybe I should have also paid more attention when I visited Sachsenhausen to see where the woman I'm named after was killed. But fortunately, I'm so lucky to have another chance to learn from your great historical mind. So pretty please, don't deprive me and everyone else of your vast knowledge about this subject.
