No reason, it's not like women were the ones getting pregnant and men were the ones impregnating them. Pregnancy is a social construct.

Also, sex in animals exists only because of white supremacy and agriculture. You may think there are hens and roosters, and that male goats are different from female goats in any meaningful way but this is all an illusion to support religious indoctrination.

Yeah, the doctors labeled her female because of her genitals and it's thanks to those same genitals she menstruates. But I guess genitals are irrelevant, right?

How come people with male genitals don't menstruate though? 🤔 I'm starting to think that genitals must have something to do with menstruation and with the sex you get "assigned" at birth. But who can tell.

Also, do you know that male cats also menstruate? I identify as a male cat and I'm menstruating right now, that's all the proof needed!

You're so inconsistent. So if an irresponsible parent gets pregnant or gets someone pregnant, the mother can actually decide not to become a parent by having an abortion but you want to deny her that right because reasons?

I admit, your views are a special type of abhorrent. It's rare to see someone that wants to both stop some women from having abortions and force some other women to have them. You are obviously a man that treats women as incubators, not as human beings with rights. But oh wait, you're a "transwoman" because you like to wear clothes associated with women in our culture. Are there such things as "femininity" and "masculinity" or are they just imaginary things humans made up? by Nohope in GenderCritical

[–]Realwoman 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Humans are a sexually dimorphic species, so there are actual differences between men and women related to reproduction, as well as attracting the opposite sex. That's why muscles on a man are considered masculine and attractive, as well as round hips on a woman. The way most people use makeup is by increasing contrast on the face - which makes the face more feminine looking - see here https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Gender-illusion-by-Richard-Russell-The-same-face-appears-female-left-when-the-eyes-and_fig11_224946627

Also, men are more aggressive and more prone to violence, which is well established.

Now, societies have taken those differences and amplified them. Gender roles were created. What is considered masculine and feminine is very different in different cultures, especially when it comes to things like clothing or hair styles. Skirts for example are considered feminine in most of the the west but they're masculine in Scotland. Long hair is not universally considered feminine at all.

[–]Realwoman 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I didn't but my mom did and she was super knowledgeable about the woman's reproductive system and she wasn't in healthcare. I guess that's what I'm basing my observations on but I can't think of any woman I know that grew up during that time that doesn't know those basics.

I did experience all the dramatic changes after the Berlin wall fell, well, I was too young for the first few years and to me, that was just the normal state of things, with the adults talking about the past.

But then, I was a very curious kid and I loved reading about science and about pregnancy and genetics, so I knew so much by the time I was 9 and I guess my perception is skewed.

Wow, didn't think I'd see choice feminism on here. Just because you choose something, doesn't mean it's not oppressive. I wear makeup, too, doesn't mean it's a feminist statement.

And high heels are very bad because they're really, really bad for your health, women are ruining their feet, legs and hips for the sake of looking good. Heels are actual oppression because of the health damage they do, I have no idea why so many women deny this. Makeup used today doesn't cause health problems but heels always have and always will. Same thing about tanning - it causes cancer but women are still doing it for some reason.

How is the it discrimination if the most capable people end up getting the job? This is true equality. Are you advocating for equality of outcome? I want the best musicians to play music when it go and listen too it and I want the smartest people to be in charge. Otherwise, it's unfair to to the capable person that gets looked over in favor of someone of inferior talent or achievement, purely for who they are. This is not justice, it's tyranny. And I don't want the doctor operating on me to be a diversity hire, sorry, I want her to be good at her job.

No one ever mentions repealing the second amendment and taking away people's guns as the solution even though it will obviously help decrease the deaths. But guns are sacred for Americans on both sides. I wish the far left was focused on something sensible like that, not on performative wokeness and oppression Olympics.

First of all, the irony of a woman claiming to be a man on the inside while engaging in stereotypically female behavior.

Second, women just cry more easily than men. Yes, I wish men were not ashamed to cry and express their feelings but even then, men still would cry less than women. Of course, a man who cries a lot is still a man and a woman who doesn't cry is a woman

Science is very much aware many things are unknown and scientists always point that out. Every scientific paper includes limitations. Woo, on the other hand, claims to have all the answers and the claims are not supported by evidence or they're unfalsifiable. You can objectively prove if a treatment works for a certain condition and after the evidence has been well established, the method becomes regulars medicine.

Haha, how do the exceptions make any sense? Why are you pro life? You believe in the sanctity of life but only the lives that you deem worthwhile? You don't believe in women's rights?

And how is society going to be better if women are forced to have children they don't want? What if they drink during pregnancy in protest? And the fathers are often deadbeats, how will it help society for women to carry the babies of deadbeats and assholes? Why let irresponsible men spread their seed? And why force couples to have children before they're ready? So that they can destroy their relationship with an unplanned child and let that child become a child of divorce with parents that are not financially and/or emotionally stable yet? And that will benefit society how exactly?
