A Neo-nazi heterosexual man who wants to kill gay and lesbian kids but likes to wear pink socks and helps his wife around the house with baking can technically be more "queer" than the gay and lesbian kids he's chasing with a knife.

Actually, IQ is highly heritable. Some kids may have been exposed to more educational material earlier and that probably helps, but it follows, that by adulthood the naturally intelligent and highly gifted will overtake any early exposure or edge that can be taught through education alone.

Diana dove right in and was a workhorse, who had some remarkable achievements, such as changing the public's attitude towards people with AIDs. She saved lives and exuded glamor, humor and charm while doing it. Kate seems limp and lazy in contrast.

Is there a job expectation that Kate do this? I know Kate does have a charity focusing on children and women. I tend to think it's not fair to hold Kate to Diana's standard (I am indifferent about Diana) and also Diana can immediately jump in when she's been born into the same aristocratic world. Kate, while bourgeoise, was not born and bred aristocracy.

I think she does love William in her own way, but if he'd been an accountant she wouldn't have looked at him. William seems petulant and arrogant, so she probably doesn't have an easy life with him.

Personally, I think that William and Kate have a good marriage and seem to love each other. I don't consider William to be petulant nor arrogant but tend to ascribe those traits to Harry. Because this is subjective, it is a matter of interpretation.

I largely do not care about the interpersonal drama of the royals but because I'm American, I have disdain for Meghan and her behavior when it badly reflects on Americans.

Interesting. I don’t know much about Kate’s parents. I don’t think Kate is all that conniving, and I wouldn’t call her useless. I definitely wouldn’t prefer Meghan’s Californian sjw stereotype. I don’t want the shallow, self-absorbed, attention seeking superficial personality. Maybe the Middleton’s wanted the title to anoint their bourgeois status, but I don’t think Diana loved Charles either. I think there will always be a fatal flaw when looking at a woman who married royal because of jealously. I personally am not jealous and don’t want to be royal and think Kate performs her job well. I like that Kate keeps quiet, is classy and knows how to perform— that’s the job and she performs to expectations. Meghan is off script and disrespectful. I don’t give Meghan deference because of it.

I don’t believe her on the suicide bit. She wants attention. That’s what I know from my personal knowledge. Your situation is not the same and mine may not be either.

Eh, this was one of my first thoughts, too, but the EEOC is ultra-liberal and may even sweep these types of legitimate complaints under the rug using "administrative discretion" (that they don't have).

Can't know until someone tries. I don't think the EEOC is all that biased because the law itself is not biased. They don't really have administrative discretion unless you mean whether to prosecute or not. They'll investigate and warn at least. But hostile workplace lawsuits from private attorneys would work too.

I don’t understand how these people think the dating pool will be larger if they sex transition. Common sense, when applied, would mean that this would make your dating pool smaller.

Saw on Twitter: “My brother pulled my three-year-old nephew from *daycare* after my nephew told me he could choose to be a boy or a girl. I don't know about that. It's not professional or responsible of a daycare teacher or worker to talk to kids or toddlers about a medical transition to the opposite sex. I agree on the part of the parents and that you can't protect your kids from everything, but that doesn't mean people in certain roles should not be the gatekeepers. They are the gatekeepers and their sole job is to protect children. Telling unproven nonesense to children is irresponsible.

Saw on Twitter: “My brother pulled my three-year-old nephew from *daycare* after my nephew told me he could choose to be a boy or a girl. After further questioning him, I found out he learned this from his daycare teacher. She also taught him that a doctor could change him into a girl” by Rationalmind in GenderCritical

You simply can't change your gender. You will always be a girl or boy that got a sex change.

Agree. This is almost like modern Cartesian dualism, which is stupid because the mind and body are one. I don't understand why people's heads feel divorced from their body and visa versa. Maybe I'm lucky to have never had this problem. We are many things that makeup the one, single person who we are. People need to recognize that or they will always be running away, searching for a holy grail, or wishing for something external that probably will not manifest to bring them validation. People need to learn acceptance of their body and then focus on growing their mind and becoming better people.

It makes them look like wannabes. Being a man trapped in a woman's body makes you look like a loser.

Totally. It's performative and based on stereotypes. It makes me cringe. If people want to pretend and act that they are something else, that's a sign of someone insecure. You don't want to play pretend if you are happy and comfortable with who you are as a person. I wish people would get comfortable in their own skin, but I guess it's easier nowadays to look for an escape. It's really sad if you think about it.

can I ask my employee to remove his pronouns from his email signature, and more — Ask a Manager by jjdub7 in GenderCritical

Just wanted to mention that it is good to be mindful of not throwing out the baby with the bath water. This woman and parts of her blog have succumbed to woke ideology, but it’s plausible that she offers good guidance in areas that are outside of Woke Inc. I try to exercise prudent judgment because I want to make sure we don’t overcompensate in our error correction where we end up going from one extreme to another.

Agree, many House Democrats have a serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. I hope this syndrome gets properly recognized and added to the DSM.

Males were largely banned from the GC subreddit. That’s why.

Gay man "comes out" as GC to colleagues and all is OK - so why are we all so frightened? We are on the side of sanity and most people on Earth agree with us. Courage! by BEB in GenderCritical

Agree, we should bite the bullet. I’ve been working on this with two friends. Gen Z scares me though. What did the schools do to them?

Terrible managerial advice.

Here's better advice (not legal advice and adopt as pertinent): Yep, you can ask your employee to remove his pronouns from his email signature if this involves a private company and not a public institution. Crafting a signature policy standard and adding this to the employee handbook where employees sign off on the changes to that handbook would be a good idea to prevent this from happening in the future.

Agree, that's why I thought the author's suggestion for opening men's sports, not women's sports, to trans athletes was an acceptable solution. The author of the piece I posted is an evolutionary biologist and managing editor for Quillette.

Same. The woke ideology is also at the graduate level.

Never because the media is agenda-driven propaganda. If the story doesn't fit the approved narrative, it doesn't get airtime. It's not news when it has an ideological agenda it needs to play.

Are you talking about gcwomen? I think it's hard because there are so few of us and we also have responsibilities in our lives. There should be a lot more women on the left pushing back against this ideology, but I have no idea how to even start to unbrainwash the women on the left. The women on the left legitimately do not see the trans problem because they are largely wealthy and elitist, and so do not identify or see the threat of a battered woman in a womens shelter being housed with TiMs. The majority of young women have not participated in a sport that involved a transwoman and they've been brainwashed by the school system to believe this is a civil rights issue. I wish we could wake the left, but I don't see how. I've been working on people in my life very slowly and it's a lot of planting seeds.
