Why can't THEIR gender non-conforming friend Meredith Talusan (the VICE article's author) just lay them, then? Being in a non-exclusive relationship and all? Hey presto: problem solved! (Don't forget to "at least fuck them well", Merry!)

Oh right-- cuz when he (along with these friends) talks about who they hope to attract, notice how it's all "cis", all the time. Specifically, conventional "masc" straight or gay guys. Zero mention of anyone else. Like, oh, I dunno... trans people? Such as THEMSELVES?

So why's it only "TRANSPHOBIA!!!" when we eschew your undesirable ass?

Sounds like a bisexual ass to me.

Well, let's not forget that, THESE days, "full blown dyke" can perfectly well mean:

  • woman who's exclusively opposite-sex attracted
  • MAN who's exclusively opposite-sex attracted
  • man who's exclusively SAME-sex attracted (for hitherto-unknown levels of WTF-ery)

Plus, from what I've seen? Using the word "dyke"? Is something of a TQ+ specialty.

But, one's thing for sure: whether bisexual or not... they're an ASS, all right.

Where's the glowing testimony about how much he's enjoyed the softness, texture, and "yes the mouthfeel" of "feminine penises" other than his own?

How was it that, in America, black men won the right to vote before white women, then? (1870 vs 1920: 50 years earlier.)

This actually sounds a lot like what the trans-privilege brigade is so fond of saying: "Karens" and "TERFs" (both understood to be white women) are pretty much the root of all evil, in their book.

Maybe they'll succeed in their attacks on us, and you can celebrate together! Have fun with all the (probably 99.9% white) "girldick"!

Again, why are AGP males "transbians" and this fujoshi girls only and I repeat, ONLY, obsessed with the only subset of the population with whom they have 0 chance with.

Cuz it's all about that sweet, sweet "validation" (a word we'll need to fumigate before ever using again) for them. Namely of their fantasy about being the opposite sex. So no one who could even potentially be attracted to their actual sex will do. Meaning that both heterosexuals and bisexuals are ruled out. These AGP men require lesbians, and these fujoshi girls require gay men, as "proof" of being perceived in accordance with their genderfeelz. Though of course all it's really "proof" of is their unabashed rapeyness. So lesbians and gay men are nothing more than props here.

My solution: since "transbians" claim that TWAW/"gay transmen" claim that TMAM, just get that all-important "validation" from each other ! Whaddaya need "cis" people for? After all, WE-- unlike you-- don't believe this genderfeelz bullshit! So put yer money (and girldick/boipussy) where your mouth is!

Somehow he made himself look even more like a guy than a girl.

While: LOL... also very much a case of "it's funny because it's true." Indeed. I've noticed PRECISELY this phenomenon on multiple occasions. Namely, that trying to look like the opposite sex... only succeeds in emphasizing your OWN.

Take men who are, in physical terms, naturally on the androgynous side: relatively small nose/jaw/brow; large eyes; fine eyebrows; little facial/body hair; slim; short; etc. If they're just being themselves, making no attempt to appear other than male... what stands out is everything that's exception-to-the-masculine-rule about them; the overall impression is of, if not femininity per se, being "feminine-leaning".

But as soon as they do the "I'm-a-LAY-DEE!" thing? It calls attention to... that Adam's apple. The squarish (and perhaps receding) hairline. The big chin. The thin lips. The too-large hands and feet. The waistless, hipless figure. And so on. And on, and on, and on...

Because, before? All these things FIT. They were a harmonious part of the whole. That whole being maleness. Instead of sounding one discordant note after another. And thus jarring the SHIT out of the audience.

And yet, if your goal is not to deny your sex, but rather to enhance it? This same principle can be your friend. Women and girls have used it that way for ages. When ultra-glamorous movie star Marlene Dietrich donned an elegant tux-and-tails complete with top hat (which basically qualified as drag back then), or Irish iconoclast-singer Sinead O'Connor shaved her head during the 1980s, it only served to highlight everything that made them womanly. A "male" (according to gender-role rules) haircut just threw into sharp relief how delicate Sinead's facial features were, what enormous eyes she had... in short, how feminine (and beautiful) she was.

Which, far from being disturbing, is often highly attractive. Because YOU AREN'T TRYING TO FOOL ANYONE. Including, perhaps most importantly... yourself.

it's same gender attraction.

Ah, yes-- a pink-wearing person's attraction to another pink-wearing person! The attraction of a person who likes monster trucks to another monster-truck-liker!

Hell, why do we even need PEOPLE involved, anyway? "The love that dares not speak its name" could now apparently be between two identical paint swatches!

Is anyone else beginning to suspect that this obsession with "gender" is at least sometimes a matter of... pathological prudishness? An attempt to, in effect, de-sexualize sexuality? Make it about disembodied shit like clothes and abstractions and fuckin' COLORS instead of, yanno, ew-y genitals? And the stuff you do with 'em? And the feelings associated with that? Which apparently these people are just too uncomfortable with?

The worst part, I think, is that they can't ADMIT their discomfort; they need to see themselves as proud sex-pozi sluts... and apparently redefining "sex" so that it's about the fake shit associated with sex (i.e., gender), rather than sex itself, is their way of doing this. So naturally biological sex has gotta go, too. Being inextricably linked with that gross FUCKING business and all.

Isn't it interesting how TRAs seem to hate actual GNC people? Especially ones like drag queens and butch lesbians who don't consider themselves trans?

THIS! Indeed, I'd go so far as to say that TRAs don't just seem to hate actual GNC people, they in fact do hate them, full-stop!

After all, the entire trans narrative rests on gender conformity, doesn't it? Rules such as "dresses/skirts, high heels, makeup, long hair, pink = woman". Because if those things ceased to be associated with femaleness-- if there was no longer any sense that women should wear them, or that men shouldn't -- then how could men signal that they "identify" as women? How could we distinguish between "transwomen" and all the other men who accept their maleness while also choosing to wear eyeliner/nail polish/skirts etc.?

So GNC people are really transgenderism's natural enemy. They demonstrate that, despite TRAs' fervent belief and best efforts to convince us otherwise, gender-roles are not, in fact, the same thing as sex, nor do they override it. And if you don't buy this primacy-of-gender argument... well, that's the ball game, as they say; TRAs have got nuthin'. Or, in other words: checkmate, TRAs! (to mix my game-metaphors all to hell)

Which is why I'm perpetually astonished that the whole trans-travesty continues to be seen as an exercise in gender NON-conformity. As though such people are out there fighting against all those damn regressive pink-is-for-girls/blue-is-for-boys sex-stereotypes! When the reality is that they're fighting FOR them! How can everyone have gotten it so ass-backwards?

My best guess: it's the result of an erroneous assumption-- namely, that in rejecting the gender-role for your sex, you are thereby rejecting gender entirely. Like, as a concept. The whole enchilada.

And, of course, you ARE rejecting a central tenet of gender: that it is assigned by society based on your observed biological sex. For it to instead be chosen by oneself is indeed a departure, and quite a radical one, at that.

But the thing is: that's their SOLE departure. Other than this? TRAs and the more familiar breed of traditionalist gender-enforcers are on the same page. They only differ on who gets to assign these stereotypes (the individual vs society), and on what basis (one's fee-fees vs observed biological sex). Which, at least from where I sit, looks less like fundamental disagreement than mere quibbling.

Could it be that, if we publicized these facts, much of TRAs' leftist/progressive support might evaporate? Cuz I can't see how they'd justify being on the side of gender-role policing. Or championing stereotypes, for that matter.

When he parrots the usual "trans people fought for gay marriage!1!" line, it got me thinking: not only didn't they, but... why the hell WOULD they?

"Transbians" had ALWAYS been free to marry women; this landmark for same-sex couples changed precisely zip for them. And while it did of course benefit the gay-men-imagining-themselves-as-straight-women crowd, the very fact that their union with hubby WAS a same-sex marriage would be all invalidating and transphobic, right? An official acknowledgement that BOTH spouses are... men? So why would THEY be all gung-ho about "gay marriage" either?

According to their view, transmen are men, but feminine men are not by 8bitgay in LGBDropTheT

[–]PenseePansy 28 insightful - 1 fun28 insightful - 0 fun29 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

They try so hard to be inclusive to transpeople but it always involves being super restrictive about gender norms.

This all day! Precisely what's always bothered me.

And it seems inevitable, really. For "trans" to work, sex roles MUST be rigidly-enforced; otherwise, how can a man "become" a woman, or vice-versa? They need dress/makeup/long hair/pink = woman, and suit/no makeup/short hair/blue = man. Without it, there's no definition of man or woman aside from biology... and, unlike what you wear or how you behave, that can't be changed.

Which means not only that "trans" people must adhere to sex-roles, but, even more crucially, that the REST of us must. Because we're the way that they define their "transgenderism"-- what they're ostensibly "transitioning" to, and from. If we don't play our (gender) role, "trans" becomes meaningless... or, rather, is revealed as having been meaningless all along.

Basically, "trans" identity is dependent on EVERYONE at least pretending to believe in gender roles (i.e., sex-based stereotypes). Which certainly constitutes a problem for them, but shouldn't for us, since while they need us... we don't need them.

The thing is? Even if it's 100% satirical... most trans-cultists would agree with this. Same-sex attraction is transphobic in their eyes. ALL sex-based attraction is. Which is to say, all sexual orientations are. But particularly homosexuality, given how entitled trans people feel to gay people's bodies (and identities). Only gender-based attraction is trans-approved. Because it essentially forces everyone to play along with their delusion that "gender identity" cancels out biological sex.

Curiously, though, trans people are themselves exempt from this otherwise-ironclad rule; it's never transphobic for THEM to pursue people based exclusively on sex, not gender. Cuz something something muh dysphoria (their insistence on "girldick"/"boypussy", TWAW, ad nauseum notwithstanding).

Well, thanks to Steven Soderbergh, I know that "the girlfriend experience" is a service offered by some female prostitutes: acting as though they're in a romantic relationship with, rather than merely hired by, the customer. So I guess this is... for customers who want the illusion of a romantic relationship with a woman who thinks that she's a man? Two illusions/delusions for the price of one, then? Cuz why only be fooling yourself on a single level? Let's just pile 'em on! Maybe she could also identify as a cat, inanimate object, and "fae" while she's at it? (Or maybe that would cost extra?)

It's a dystopian nightmare that we're living in, but few people see it that way because it's left-leaning, postmodernist extremism, instead of Nazi-esque fascism.

Exactly! People expect the overtly-brutal, cold gray joylessness of George Orwell's 1984... but-- great though it is-- the dystopian book that actually came TRUE was Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. Its vision of an empty, artificial "happiness" (notably sexual hedonism so amoral as to be inhuman... sound familiar?), all bright and shiny and seductive, is truly the stuff of nightmares... yet rarely recognized as such. Much less as the Western world's current reality.

Who'd ever have guessed that Brave New World would become OUR world? Or that the more accurate prediction would be a satire?

HOW is this not just plain ol' bisexuality? Of the kind where your attraction to each sex waxes & wanes? Either that or you're (probably) straight people so into trendy-wokesterism that even primal pants-feelings have gotta be politically-correct. SOMEHOW. It's like vegan cats: SJW genitals!

They're hellbent on making sexual orientation so complicated that it requires a flow chart. But how could it be? There are only two sexes, so the possibilities for attraction must be limited to either or both. Why do they have a problem with this? It's like trying to treat a board game as three-dimensional chess when it's really just Candy Land.

Do these types strike anyone else as real-life Mary Sues? Forever demanding the spotlight, insufferably-SpecialTM in every way? They've even got the telltale Exotic Hair Color-itis!

Hear, hear. Yeah, when trans people are forever whining about "chasers", why should they think that gay MEN wanna be fetishized, either? It's insulting and demoralizing. Particularly since the fetishizers are people that you can't be remotely attracted to BY DEFINITION!

I'm sure that this is especially horrible for you, since it no doubt feels like a fucking conversion-therapy flashback. Because that's really what it is. Except now backed by the very individuals and organizations who steadfastly oppose the traditional kind! Truly like something out of a nightmare.

I hope you can at least find some support here, Smolders, and that it helps. Recently, I had a comment on AskGayBros outlining what seems like an effective self-defense argument for you guys-- it's deliberately non-confrontational (so as not to make the shitheads even MORE aggressive), but pretty airtight. May be successful in warding the Gaydens off. Of course I'm sorry that you even have to... but perhaps it's some comfort to know that, with this, you potentially could? And that a non-gay person came up with it cuz she's in your corner? :)

Blair just got the terminology wrong.

More like Blair got the BIOLOGY wrong. Because transgenderism is at best ignorant of, and at worst outright hostile towards, human biology. That is the ENTIRE FUCKING PROBLEM. Since they demand that the rest of us follow suit. So forgive me if I'm less than sympathetic when this bites one of 'em in the ass.

Blair was not informed that blockers and hormones makes you sterile.

Yeah, taking a long-term wrecking ball to everything related to your reproductive category makes ya... unable to reproduce! WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT.

Look, I get that there are those here who see Blair White as "one of the good ones". I wouldn't go that far: less-odious, maybe... but that's still odious. "Woman" is a pornified costume to him, all about image and appeal to men. And better to be a fake woman than a real gay man. And what's biology anyway? Male and female are just about whether you wear makeup or not, and what kind of plastic surgery you get, duh! It's not as though they have, like, significance for, oh, I dunno, making babies or anything!

The scary thing is, being first and foremost a business... they'll go where the money is. Meaning the most customers. And now, with all of this kweer/trans/gender-identity crap... they're in a position to tap into the straight market. Which they never were before. What's the less-than-10%-of-the-population gay male market next to that?

It just occurred to me: maybe this is why the LGB establishment has abandoned us and embraced the TQ+. Money. Not just from billionaire AGPs like Pritzker and Rothblatt (though I'm sure they're more than happy to lap that up); from straight people as a whole. The majority of the population. Our businesses, our organizations--they could never have such a vast customer/membership base with just us. But if they jump aboard the "gay = straight" bandwagon? Watch those sweet, sweet hetero dollars flood in. All it costs is our identity, our spaces, our voices... our fucking existence.

Their TWAW argument collapses so quickly. "Why not use a transwoman?"...they respond with "some women are infertile can cannot get pregnant"....but never acknowledge that no transwoman can get pregnant.

Yeah, and I wish we had the opportunity to follow up with, "but MOST women of reproductive age are fertile and can get pregnant, so that must include transwomen, right? TWAW after all!" And, to REALLY make their heads explode, add: "and many transwomen have biological children, so how can they be infertile? That means there must be some OTHER reason why they can't get pregnant! Gee, what could that possibly be, do you think?" [innocent look]

And really, going by their "logic"-- that being incapable of reproducing as the opposite sex constitutes infertility... aren't we ALL infertile? Like, every single human who ever lived? Including the ones with biological kids by the boatload? Plus more on the way? How does THAT make sense?

Just me then? OK

And re: the intersex-men whataboutism... oh, people with DSD must love THIS, right? Being used as a human "gotcha!" (and by whiny rapists, no less). But, since you won't stfu about it asked, FtM: potentially attractive to gay men = intersex men who have male primary sex characteristics. The technical term for which is A DICK. Not to be confused with some Frankenpeen flesh-tube-sausage-thing that looks like it originated in a mad scientist's lab. People with DSD who are biologically male but don't have a dick, like those who've got CAIS (and appear female), need not apply. In other words: JUST LIKE "TRANSMEN". Put it another way: the ONLY bio-females in whom gay men could be sexually interested are the ones with DSD conditions like De la Chapelle Syndrome (aka XX Male Syndrome)... who, regardless of their chromosomes, appear male. Especially in the homegrown-dick department.

Cuz, FtMs: the yaoi ya love so much? It was created by, and for, women.

Heterosexual women as well, in the case where a partner comes out as trans.

Absolutely. Indeed, this is even more of a parallel than it may at first appear, since these heterosexual women are so often pressured by their now-trans husband/boyfriend to themselves "come out" as... lesbian.

And just in case anyone thinks this is merely for consistency's sake-- because if her partner's supposed to be a woman now, it just follows that she can't be straight anymore, right?-- the fact that bisexual women (who already identified as such) are likewise pressured to declare themselves lesbian really gives the game away. Both in the sense that these men MUST "have" a woman who's exclusively same-sex-attracted to feed their "I'm-a-LAY-DEE" fetish... and that they presume that women are whatever men say we are.

Man, I know the feeling... do I ever. Had more days when I'm downright despondent over this genderology plague than I can count.

But there is cause for hope. An expose of the Tavistock in the Times, the policy changes in athletics... even (horrible as it is to say) the overturn of Roe v. Wade. The latter because it makes the reality of "woman" being about biological sex, NOT "genderfeelz", painfully clear. No "transwoman" is going to be forced to serve as a brood-mare, that's for damn sure. Maybe this will cause the otherwise trans-captured women's organizations to wake up. Ditto LGB organizations, now that the right to same-sex marriage, and even to engage in same-sex sex (Lawrence v. Texas), are next on the chopping block. Neither will affect "transbians", "gay trans men", or "non-binary" straight people one whit; you'll still be perfectly free to marry/date/fuck those of the opposite sex, regardless of how you (or they) "identify". Proof positive of how meaningless that actually is.

Overall, when this situation feels especially bleak, I'd suggest that you remember three things:

  • This is a fad. Like Pet Rocks, eating Tide Pods, and the Macarena. And like all of those, it will become passe and die off.
  • Lots of other stuff seemed so entrenched that it would NEVER go away... until it did. The unassailable power of tobacco companies and the ubiquity of cigarette smoking; drunk driving as funny and no big deal; the impossibility of same-sex marriage ever being legalized on a national level in America (civil unions were the best that we could hope for, everyone assured us).
  • When the emperor has no clothes, most everybody can already see it; they just need a critical mass publicly declaring, "he's BUTT-NEKKID!!!" to show them that they're not the only ones.

Please don't give up, OP. Reality needs all the support that it can get these days! And so do those of us who recognize and value it.

Why demisexuality is as real as any sexual orientation by Chunkeeguy in LGBDropTheT

[–]PenseePansy 20 insightful - 4 fun20 insightful - 3 fun21 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

Do people not even know what "sexual orientation" MEANS anymore? Because this demonstrably fails to meet the basic definition.

Sexual orientations are based on biological sex: your own + that of those to whom you're attracted = your sexual orientation.

Does this have SWEET FUCK-ALL to do with any of that? NO.

Ergo, it is not a sexual orientation.

"Demisexuality" is, at best, a subheading of one's sexual orientation-- the form that it takes for any given individual. Like a straight guy who wants women to make the first move, or a "pillow-princess" lesbian, or a bisexual who's the proverbial hopeless romantic. Nothing wrong with any of those things... but they aren't sexual orientations. They're add-ons; the way that one's sexuality expresses itself.

How did EVERYTHING get to be a sexual orientation? What's next, doing-it-with-the-lights-off-sexuality? Fatal-weakness-for-prickly-intellectuals-sexuality? Into-people-I-meet-through-mutual-friends-sexuality? What's the appeal of all this glorified nit-picking?

And the unparalleled horror that is "misgendering"? Didn't every single woman there just... assume her lust-objects' gender??? Ooh, the transphobes! REEEEE

Maybe that's how to end the Reign of Trans once and for all: simply make people like this live by their own rules. No more assuming anyone's gender; no more attraction based on biological sex. They have to act as though EVERYONE is a "gender special" until proven otherwise, with all the awkwardness and inconvenience that this entails, plus their own loss of status (to quote Syndrome in The Incredibles: "If everyone is special... then no one is."). And they'll be obliged to ignore biological sex in favor of "gender" when dating/mating-- it'll be trans4trans across the board! Transbians, get over your penis repulsion and shut up about "muh dysphoria": all that girldick ain't gonna suck itself!

How the fuck is a man wearing a dress "appropriation" of trans culture when that's the definition of trans?

Well, yeah, that's the objective definition; what's going on in reality. But of course that's not the TRANS definition. Quite the reverse. Because in order for their genderist ideology to work... there can't be ANY SUCH THING. "Dress = woman" is required. Otherwise, how can a man signal that he's "really" a woman? And not just... a man in a dress? He can't. So dresses must remain off-limits for men IN GENERAL. At least those without LadyfeelzTM.

Ironic that in donning a dress, Mr. Styles is thereby demonstrating that the Trans-Emperor has no clothes.

Further, since you are automatically assigned the male gender-role or female gender-role as soon as your biological sex is observed, and "transwomen" virtually never "pass", WE get "inferior" status enforced on us... and they don't. Because everyone can plainly see that they're men. So, for them, these accoutrements of inferiority-- the obligation to be decorative, trivial, placating-- are a CHOICE. Which is ENTIRELY different than when society requires them of you, as part of your assigned gender-role.

Why doesn't everybody understand this?

If they want to have sex with men, they could easily have sex with straight men.

But that's not all they want, is it? The other part-- the screw-loose-y one-- is having sex with men AS a man. Where it confirms their so-called "gender identity". THAT'S the real point, here: sex as denial of reality. The reality being that they are women.

So the man MUST be gay. Nothing else will do. Because, otherwise... he's attracted to women, by definition. Which means that this might be why he's having sex with her. No matter what he says, or how often he calls her "bro"... even the possibility is a deal-breaker.

People like this really, really make me wish that they could be sent back in time to when being homosexual (or bisexual) meant that your employment, freedom (since it could well result in hospitalization or even imprisonment), and of course just plain physical safety were all very much at risk. When, in other words, it wasn't trendy. And didn't make you some magical sparkly unicorn. Quite the opposite, in fact. Think they'd still be demanding that everyone recognize their "queerness" then? Their logic is that you can't exclude T from LGB because "some transwomen are lesbians". (Of course, we see them as heterosexual men.)

I want these people to explain why, if such transwomen are lesbians and not heterosexual men, they ONLY pursue biological women, never each other. There should be no difference, right? TWAW and all that. So what gives? But if they're actually straight dudes? Makes perfect sense.

And hey, if even THEY won't buy the bullshit they're peddling... why the hell should anyone else?

Some of you may believe I’m being overdramatic here, but it really sucks having to wake up to everyday and be reminded that my sexuality that I’ve fought to no end to get my family and friends to accept is being actively appropriated by straight women who fetishise gay men. by Smolders1 in LGBDropTheT

We're being fetishized for our ability of validating them.

So well-put! Yes: that's it exactly. Gay men are being used as props in the service of these fetishists' creepy delusion. That you guys couldn't be less interested in them if you tried is irrelevant. It's all about THEIR precious fee-fees... and, in particular, their demand for a guy who's exclusively male-attracted, so if he fucks 'em if MUST mean they're 100% Real ManTM ! Yeah, no way is it because their harassment and guilt-tripping and hordes of flying-monkey wokesters FORCED him or anything! Who even cares about stuff like being canceled and death threats, right?

I wish there was some way these horrid women could be convinced that, if their rapist ambitions are realized... HE'S NO LONGER GAY. She de-gayed him! Well, what self-respecting Gayden wants that? Defeats the whole purpose! So better leave the gay men alone, then. Wouldn't wanna make their fantasy-fodder go extinct, now would they?

Of course, they should REALLY stop this shit just cuz it's, yanno, evil... but that's probably too much to ask :(

No shit, "trans-women" are still biological men who retain their sexuality despite the "transition surgery". They are still "straight" men or at least are bisexual so therefore they're going to be attracted to women. by MatthewofHouseGray in LGBDropTheT

I was curious as to why the full force on lesbians, by these males, but recently saw someone post that 60% of transwomen (biological males) are still opposite sex attracted.

Yeah, this is my impression, too. And only logical, when you think about it. Since the vast majority of people are heterosexual, it makes sense that the same would be true for "trans" people. So, typically, "transwoman" = straight man.

But, as you put it, "why the full force on lesbians", then? Sure, being straight men, these "trans" people are necessarily female-attracted, but they could just go after straight women, right? Instead of lesbians? Why SPECIFICALLY pursue women who are, by definition, not gonna be attracted to a man (i.e., you)?

Answer: genderist ideology. Which preaches that: 1.] one's "gender identity" takes precedence over one's sex; and 2.] since the sole proof of this for "trans" people is other people's reaction, everybody else must behave as though only the former exists.

So: straight man whose "gender identity" is "woman" = lesbian. He believes that he's "one of them" and deserves to be accepted as such. Further, he specifically DOESN'T want women who are male-attracted, because there's always the possibility that, if they're into him, it's because he's male... and sex taking precedence over gender is against the rules. He needs to believe, above all, that he IS a woman. Therefore, nobody but a woman exclusively attracted to same will do.

Which leads to the question: why do these "transwomen" only want lesbians, and not each other? They believe that gender overrules sex, right? Ergo, there must be no difference between a "lesbian" born with a penis and one born with a vulva; yet... they only seem to go "full force" on the latter.

The usual "trans" answer is that sex between "transbians" "triggers their dysphoria". Somehow.

I think it's just that transgenderism is bullshit. And at some level (i.e., the one that'd mean straight dudes having to fuck each other)... they know it.

The author just CANNOT fathom, for the LIFE of him, why so many gay men are having none of this trans nonsense.

Gee, do ya think it could have anything to do with the fact that: 1.] transgenderism is antithetical to the very CONCEPT of homosexuality (because that's based on biological sex, and excludes straight people); and 2.] trans people are seeking to REPLACE gay people (claim "gayness" for themselves, and change its definition in order to do so)?

Cuz with friends like THAT, gay men don't need any enemies.

Sharing my sexual orientation with my partner is important to me personally, it has meaning, my experiences as a gay man are different to a bisexual man, I will not feel guilt about wanting that shared understanding from the man I am married to.

Yep! I've theorized that this is what's behind many gay (as well as straight, I suppose) people's aversion to dating bisexuals, rather than any kind of bigotry... the sense that, without a shared sexual orientation, you just don't have enough in common. So you can't connect at the necessary level. Which is something that bisexuals (well, anybody with a modicum of empathy and emotional maturity, really) should be able to understand. (I myself am primarily-- though not exclusively-- attracted to other bisexuals, and this may be one reason why: the feeling that they're fundamentally sympatico, at least as far as our basic sexuality goes.)

Honest answer: it's trans people who are harassing us-- LGB people, and women. For resisting their demands that we submit to being erased.

Our identities (as same-sex-attracted people, and/or women) are based on biological sex. Theirs are based on gender, as well as the insistence that only gender-- and not biological sex-- really "counts".

Result: homosexuals being pressured by the trans lobby to date/have sex with people of the opposite sex; women being pressured to give up their hard-won protections against sex-based oppression, notably pervasive predation/violence from males.

Indeed, it is this very pressure-- and the sheer relentlessness of it-- that forced us to move from Reddit to this "dying forum" in the first place.

As for your other charges:

  • How does refusing to renounce their homosexuality make gay people "Nazis"? Especially considering that the REAL Nazis could hardly have been more anti-gay, what with their official policy of sending gay men to concentration camps?
  • What's wrong with white women being lesbians? Are you saying that only non-white women qualify as "real" lesbians? How does THAT work? And if they don't "count" somehow, why do "transbians" target them almost exclusively-- especially when demanding sex-- while treating non-white lesbians as though they don't even exist?

The ability for two people to get pregnant is a function of biological sex (and other factors of course)

WHAT "other factors"? It's ENTIRELY a function of biological sex; that's what biological sex IS! Reproductive categories! Sure, both parties must be fertile, and his sperm needs to meet her egg somehow, but the whole one-person-of-each-bio-sex thing is THE prerequisite! Without THAT, no other "factors" mean shit!

but it's independent of gender.

Well, sure, in the sense that it's "independent" of Parcheesi, or believing that you're a vampire. Which is to say... irrelevant. Thus making "gender" a complete non sequitur here. So... why are you even talking about it?

So a gay or lesbian couple with one trans person and one cis person, for example, could get pregnant by accident.

But the only thing that MAKES these couples "gay" or "lesbian" is "gender", and we already noted that "gender" is irrelevant to getting pregnant, remember? Their bio-sex is male and female. LIKE EVERY OTHER PAIR OF HUMANS TO MAKE A BABY SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME.

NEXT you'll tell me that two HUMANS aren't even required cuz a "cis" man or "transwoman" can totally get an "otherkin" pregnant!

I always thought lesbians just had a much cuter, gentler form of love

This reminds me of how someone once said (wryly) that, in essence, most people conceptualize lesbian sex as... just braiding each other's hair. Cuz only dick counts as the Main Event, duh! Thus, lesbian relationships are... forever consigned to Just Friends status. Can't be anything more than sweet and innocent and terminally ADORBS. Like those sickening Precious Moments figurines.
