It will happen at different rates depending on the country. In mine (Mexico), we are living through it right now. Many of us seem "unaffected" right now, but I suspect this is something like putting a frog in boiling water.

I come from "the wild west era" of the internet and, even though everyone of us were mostly anonymous, assholes were very few and far between (at least, compared to today). Nowadays everyone is well known in real life, but most people act, to put it flatly, like children throwing temper tantrums.

Everyone is addicted to rage nowadays and everyone loves to be offended and feeling like a victim.

I'm a retired Kick Boxing pro fighter.

I think you may be right in that he may had a preexisting condition. I've seen (and recieved xD) worse beatings than that.

There are many people in there whose explicit job is avoiding these situations and I think all of them failed.

The referee should have stop the fight since round 2. They say he didn't because the fighter was still defending, but a referee can also stop a fight if he thinks a fighter can't properly fight in equal footing. A referee once stopped a fight of mine because I was too exhausted; I looked quite a lot like Munson in this video.

The doctor was chatting by cel instead of watching the fighters. No comments.

The manager/coach should have stopped the fight between round 2 and 3. It was painfully obvious his fighter couldn't keep going.

I'm quite antifeminist myself, but I agree they aren't women and never could be. BUT they aren't men as well. They are... transexuals, I suppose.

Our lives and experiences are quite shaped by how we look, that's why we (men) could never quite fully understand women struggles and viceversa. That's why, aside obvious biological reasons, trans will never be real women.

Unlike most people, I actually pity them. They can't be real men, but they can't be real women (mind and body wise). And if they want to transition and actually get a vaginoplasty, they won't get a vagina, but a malformed hole that doesn't even look like a vagina.

I'll write it as a list, so I won't write a wall of text.

  • 3 friends and me at my house. 2 of them brothers. No one else at my house.
  • The brothers had permission to stay at my house until 10 pm.
  • We were watching cable TV movies (strictly scheduled). All my friends left my house when the movie ended at 10 pm.
  • I followed them to the street door and the brothers' father was already waiting for them at their house's door (we all lived in the same street, about 30 meters apart)
  • I went to my house again when they entered their house. Never lost sight of them.
  • I went back to watch the 10 pm movie at my house.
  • Next day, the brothers say they were scolded for being late. His father was waiting for them at their door because it was 11 pm already.
  • They verify it's indeed 11 pm. All their clocks are at 11 pm and the TV shows are on schedule.

To this day we still tell that story at parties, since we don't have any type of explanation to this.

No. I really meant Java. I hate it with all my guts. Fortunately, it's no longer the default programming language for Android Studio. I like Kotlin way better.

I think Javascript is just kinda ugly mashup of badly implemented good intentions but it's gladly evolving. I love Typescript, to be honest.

The doctor was always carefully watching the fighters. He had faculties to stop a fight if he thought a fighter's health was compromised and many times he did just that.

Between rounds he usually commented on the fight with his colleagues and so on, but if he considered a fighter needed some kind of medical attention (and it was quite often) he personally checked him out and even sometimes followed him to backstage.

And most times there were not just one doctor, but two, plus the paramedics and ambulance.

But that was with professional promoters. Many promoters were quite cheap and didn't really invest in the medical side of things and it was not unheard about fighters forced to be retired due to injuries that could be easily treated by a competent on stage medic service.

... I suppose the promoter to this fight was one of the cheap ones.

From 2004-2008 I was heavily invested in Delphi and it was as simple as it could get: install IDE, then begin to code.

I recently took programming again and it was a nightmare to catch up with the modern developing mindset: framework on top of framework, libraries everywhere to perform basic functions (I really hate Java), lambdas, npm, git, etc.

I catched up with modern times, but it was unfunny and frustrating.
