Anybody got a source on this one? I'm out of the loop.

Anyways it'll be interesting to see the right's reaction to this. This seems like the logical extension of the mentality the right applied to the whole "bake the cake" controversy some time ago. If you say that one group of people can and should discriminate because of their values then it'd be hypocritical to disavow such actions when applied by other people.

Obviously this is a shitty thing for the NHS to do, and I do hope it gets revoked or the rulings are undone swiftly, but nonetheless the reaction will be interesting.

The article itself is nothing groundbreaking. People will and have file(d) baseless hate crime reports the same way that people frequently file baseless lawsuits for frivolous things. You might actually have a headline if someone actually got convicted though

In person, when you want to say something politely, you say it less efficiently. You “make an extra effort,” says linguist Gretchen McCulloch in her book Because Internet, “using hedges, honorifics, or simply more words: ‘Doctor, could I possibly trouble you to open the window?’ versus ‘Open the window!’” Online, you do the same, with different tactics.

This makes sense and seems to line up with how I've observed people speaking, and I'd imagine that it lines up with the past hundred or so years of speaking patterns. Why exactly are you so worked up over the article?

Golf balls are indeed a choking hazard if you're trying to swallow it.

Golf balls are damn near impossible to fit in your mouth let alone swallow it. You'd have to go out of your way to abuse it for it to become dangerous.

Vaccines are a health hazard if you're intent on injecting it.

Do you trust sites that post articles sponsored by pharmaceutical companies?

No, I don't. I don't bother reading articles by themselves anyways, I dig for the source links so I can read whatever data the article is based on. I don't trust stories with no sources either.

Which, by the way, are most vaccine articles printed in the media.

Notice how I mentioned it as suicide attempts.

My apologies.

Explain to me how a modern day mentally ill tranny would cope with the horror of war.

I suppose your strawman definition of a "modern day mentally ill tranny" might not make it, seeing as how you can define the actions of whatever strawman you whip up as you see fit, but a trans person who can make it through every psych evaluation and handle all the training and torture you have to go through to actually be qualified enough to see combat would by definition be fully capable of handling the horrors of war, at least to the same degree as your average soldier, because the military would have already weeded out those that can't handle it. The army doesn't just let the average joe walk in off the street and ask for a flak vest and they send him off that day; There's a whole process to it.

The military has mandatory psych evaluations, and past that you gotta be a little stronger willed than the average bear to get through training and actually be allowed on a battlefield. There's no way in fuck that you'd see some epidemic of trans soldiers offing themselves or some kind of "mentally ill" group of soldiers doing stupid shit like giving the enemy weapons.

I get that some people think that "Le 40%" is just absolutely drop dead hilarious but the reality is that 40% isn't even a legitimate statistic for civilian population (40% is just suicide attempts and that stat accounts for any attempt at any point in life, which means that stat is subject to outside factors such as an already high teen suicide rate), let alone military populations.

I doubt it. You might get some widespread riots or at least a whole lot of marches, but a full blown civil war would be damn near impossible. The military has means to suppress an uprising, and the alphabet agencies might possibly have insiders within whatever militia groups take up arms first. That and I think that people are a whole hell of a lot more complacent than we give them credit for. Everybody loves to talk big but the actions rarely follow.

Not only was capital introduced

Capital was only introduced to those that had significant bargaining power in industry.

schools

To my knowledge there hasn't even been any significant effort to build schools in africa until the late 1900s.

law and order

Whatever law has been introduced doesn't seem to be quite effective. Much of africa is either what is essentially a warzone or complete slums. What law exactly do you think the colonizers of africa have introduced that is so worthwhile?

And what was exploited? Resources that Africans had very little, if any, historical interest in.

But those resources are still valuable, and not other's to exploit. If africa had ever previously possessed the means to mine and export the resources they have in abundance I don't think they'd be anywhere near the state they are currently in.

Left to their own, without outside influence to abate them. Blacks invariably regress back to a more disorganized tribal structure while destroying every advancement given to them.

You better have a hefty citation on this one. Because the history you're trying to point to does not support this premise at all

now that they have taken on the burdensome task of trying to rebuild the infrastructure in Africa that Europeans have long since abandoned

The Belt and Road initiative functions by burdening africa with mounds of debt that it will never fully climb out of while china rapes their nation. The Belt and Road Initiative will only ever benefit China, as they have all the power to control and manipulate any deals struck as well as not truly caring about any regulations. If it is not already common knowledge to you that China loves to skirt around and violate regulation I would be more than happy to post some highlights.

Very interesting documentary

I've already watched Empire of Dust. Its just a movie about China abusing the laborers of africa. Or atleast thats what I took from it.

Let's talk about successful black areas and countries.

Can you name a single black city or country that hasn't been actively destroyed by outside forces? The continent of africa has been exploited for centuries by extremely wealthy powers, so it would be unfair to discuss africa in comparison to other nations. You can't really compare black-majority american cities to white-majority american cities because white-majority people often have some higher degree of generational wealth and additionally don't have to and have never had to deal with systemic discrimination to any real degree.

So what country or city would you like to discuss that would in any capacity be a fair comparison? Because I can't think of a single one.

I'm not too knowledge about keyboards so I wouldn't really post much though. I'd prefer not to mod the discord but I do have experience with discord moderation if you need one.
