Just landed here recently and though I've just glanced at what the site has to offer, I am optimistic its user base will gain traction and the site will be a free speech platform for everyone where healthy debates and questioning the state of things will be encouraged. Tried /voat and kinda got the heebie geebies from reading some of the posts and comments there. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out...But for me, corporate sponsorships, thread-locking, vote manipulation, comment removals, downvote brigades, front-page spamming...You get the idea...Well they suck.
