If one harms you, remember "not all trans women"

Don' t be ridicoulous, trans women are harmless, dainty kittens, they would NEVER hurt anyone. If a man who identifies as a woman harms you, then he' s a man, not a trans woman.

You' re right that we should trust them all as a basis, if one of them turns out to be an abusive piece of shit, then he wasn' t in the community and we shouldn' t make any connection between them besides recognizing that he was appropriating trans experiences and that he is a nazi. And, more importantly, we should absolutely not wonder why the fuck he was allowed in a place like a women' s prison, or a women' s locker room or a women' s rape relief shelter to begin with! /s

You are correct, sex is a social construct and a human invention: babies are, in fact, brought by storks. Or found under cabbages.

As for your hypotheticals: why the fuck can' t you live in reality instead of trying to "prove" something by using examples of individuals that do not even exist? It' s like you decided something is true, but it is in direct opposition of reality so reality has to go because it' s a hindrance to your ravings.

Next up, follow my podcast in which my misanthropy demonstrates that since we haven' t proven the existence of aliens, then human beings must be... a social construct... Created by humans... Who don' t exist. 🤔🤔🤔

I honestly have no clue how you TRAs can manage to live with that level of cognitive dissonance. I guess your life is much easier, just pretend reality doesn' t exist, and you will be in a WORLD OF MAGIC!!!!!!

Self-impregnation is a plague that has influenced humanity since the beginning of time. You can' t explain with science what went on with Mary mother of Jesus without self-impregnation: it' s obvious that it wasn' t actually God who was responsible (I mean, hellooooo? That' s just mythology!!!!!), so the only other explanation is that Mary was a trans woman who produced sperm, then started identifying as ova-factory, produced ovas, and impregnated herself. There is literally no other possible explanation for that.

So get out of here with that attitude!!!!

What I am confused about is all this fuss around uterus transplants when obviously you can use whatever gamete you have to impregnate yourself. Just start producing the other and then mix them together. You don' t need medical treatment, these things already happen all the time.

She is going to do it when being queer/trans/NB won' t be as profitable as it is now in show business/Hollywood. Right now, every fart she makes she is showered with brave and stunning praise, when that starts going down she will begin to complain that focus on trans people is important. Once she and her "identity" will be ignored for the most part, she will start whining that transphobia has come back full force.

Given that I am 100% sure that she is being monotematic even now and speaks of nothing besides trans issues with her colleagues, and that she will keep being it, at that point she will have alienated and/or insulted and/or bored to death anyone around her, so, if she' s smart, she will realize that the only thing to do is either disappear or try the last attempt at saving her career by going "I decided to uncouple from my masculine gender identity" or whatever the quirky way to say will be used at the time.

It won' t be hard to detransition given that I don' t believe she will do much more than cut her hair and start wearing baggy clothes, so physically she won' t have problems. That she succeeds in getting back some career it' s another thing entirely. Even now she is destined to only play TIFs before/during/after transitioning, and for as long as the fad goes on, whatever character she plays it will be 100% on that.

Exactly what I thought.

If they were smart they would lay low for a while, but their constant craving for validation and breaking other people's boundaries (not to mention intolerance, entitlement, misoginy/homophobia/racism) is too strong.

It will be interesting to see what will come out of this entire situation. Losing the subs on Reddit was terrible, but I said it immediately that it could be the start of their undoing (and best of all, by their own hands). I knew that, without us evil TERFs and lesbians, they were going to start attacking any other category of people that didn't kiss their ass.

So they started with the subs about women' s health (like PCOS and pregnancy) then subs about women's porn (like that Yuri thing), now they are going after gay men. Who will come after them? I accept bets, intersex people? Black people? Rape victims?

[–]Omina_Sentenziosa 7 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

1) Why are you GC or QT?

Uh, I am not sure how to answer that? Because I think that biological sex exists and it' s more important than a feeling in the 0, 6% of the population when it comes to defining what womanhood is, I guess.

2) Were you ever on the opposite side? (Ex. Went from GC to QT or QT to GC?)

I was never a hardcore supporter of QT, but I used to believe that playing along was the ebst thing to do.

3) How do you define "man" and "woman"?

Adult human male and adult human female.

4) Transwoman are...Transmen are...

Men who want to be considered women and women who want to be considered men.

5) What are your thoughts on the term "cis", "natal" and "biological"?

Cis is an incorrect term that is often used as an insult: I don' t particularly care about the insult, but I can' t stand the hypocrisy of the community that uses it, which keeps complaining about how everyone should respect the labels people choose for themselves and then call people "cis" even when they are told not to do it. On top of that, it' s incorrect, given that it usually means "identifies with the gender associated with your sex". Gender is a set of sex based roles and stereotypes, identifying with it means being ok with the stereotypes women get thrown at since birth, and most of us don' t do it.

Natal is often used to imply that you can kind of change your sex, as in you are natal x, but can become something else, which is ridicoulous.

Biological is redundant and implies that there is a way to be a woman that doesn' t rely on biology, which I disagree with. It' s still the preferred term among those three for me.

6) Do you believe transmen can play in sports with biological men and vice-versa---can transwomen play in sports with biological women?

No.

7) What is considered misgendering?

Using labels and pronouns that a person doesn' t want to be used to describe them. With trans people, those labels and pronouns describe their biological sex.

8) Gender is...and sex is...

Gender is a set of sex-based steretoypes and roles and social constructs associated with both sexes and more often than not shoved down our throats since birth. Sex is the reproductive category people are born in.

9) Do you know people in real life that are QT if you're GC or that are GC if you're QT? Are they friends or family?

I know people who are supporters in the same way I was a while ago, which means that they superficially think it' s not a big deal. I don' t know anyone who is a hardcore activist.

10) How do people normally treat you based in your views?

Most people I know in real life agree with me, the ones who don' t are not so deep in the ideology that we can' t get along.

11) Are transmedicalist GC, QT, or neither?

Neither.

12) What is one thing you wish the other side knew about your position?

They know about my position, most of them prefer distorting it or ignoring it for their own benefits.

1) What is your sexual orientation?

Heterosexual.

2) Are you a transman/transwoman or a biological man/woman?

Biological woman.

3) What region are you from?(North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa)

Europe.

4) Feel free to share your background story here of how you became GC or QT.

I asked questions about sexed brains and wondered why when men say men and women have different brains they are considered sexist assholes by the same people who call it science and the right side of history when it' s said by men who call themselves women. I was called a TERF for that (even though at the time I wanted TRAs to convince me that they were right) and since I didn' t know what a TERF was I looked into it and found the GC and radfem community.

Current testosterone levels are only one part of a much broader picture.

Indeed, the entire body of a person should be taken into consideration, not just their hormones. Which is why males shouldn' t compete in women' s leagues, because even if, for some miracle, their testosterone results ok for women' s leagues, the rest of their body isn' t.

And that' s without even taking into consideration just how fucking gross it is that women, who have fought to have their leagues because their SEX was discriminated against in this specific area, have to be told that they are supposed to make room for males (who have been able to compete in official sport leagues since the beginning of civilization) and see them stealing their achievements, records, trophies and glory because "it' s the nice thing to do".

In what way is a uterus transplant needed to save a life?

It' s not even used to help with pain, the way things are now it' s used exclusively to get a woman pregnant, and it' s taken out after the birth of the child.

It' s a completely elective and superflous surgery that is done only because these women are obsessed with feeling the thrill of getting pregnant and because their doctors are ego-driven maniacs. For men, it will be used for validation and sexual fetishism.

You are absolutely not in the wrong. It makes no freaking sense to be up in arms about how pronouns should be sex based and about how TIMs shouldn' t be recognized as women and then making exceptions just because they are less bad than the regular TRA.

Blair White is a man. I know nothing about this Rose of Dawn person, but if he is a TIM he too is a man, and calling them men and "he" is perfectly acceptable and, as far as I am concerned, prefered. People who yell at you about it are just a brand of TRA, and I have stopped caring about being considered a bad person by individuals who think that womanhood is about plastic surgery/ stereotypes/what "ejaculators" say it is a long time ago. You just have to decide if you care about it or not. I have abandoned any kind of fucks I could have given when it comes to language and hurting feelings, so if it' s rude to call a man a man, then I guess I am rude. I can live with that.

I am not a fan of White anyway: he might be a little more reasonable than regular TRAs, but he reached his opinions through conservatism. Not to mention, whenever someone posts a video or a comment by him and I decide to watch it, the overwhelming feeling I get from them is that he is attacking lunatic TRAs because he is afraid that once society peaks, people like him are going to have it harder. In short, he' s more interested in himself than he is in logic and reason, and it wold be ok if he (and his groupies) at least admitted it, but for some reasons he' s considered a champion for women, children, LGBs, when the truth is that he is using those categories because he can use them to rise himself.

They are not just wearing make-up, colorful clothes and dresses, though, they are doing all of that while playing a woman persona.

If they were just men in dresses and make-up it would be one thing, but they get women stage names, use female pronouns and, more often than not, recreate a pretty specific bitchy and shallow stereotype of a woman.

You’ve thought about this a lot. :)

LOL, I have been thinking about the issues with transitioning since I peaked: it was 4 years ago, it is a long time to think about stuff.

I have been thinking about the issues with the medical community since I started college and realized I was going to be part of that community: that' s even longer than the aformentioned 4 years.

And to be perfectly honest, I have been thinking about the issues with humans for even longer than that! :P

Gatekeeping can’t ever really be perfect, but maybe it could be good enough to help.

Definitely: like everything else, humans control everything, so the only thing we can do is hoping that the ones in charge can make it better by being a bit more objective. I am not optimistic, I don' t see people starting to be better any time soon. But I guess everything is possible.

Sometimes I wonder if maybe some therapy or something before some elective surgeries even that weren’t gender related just so they could establish it wasn’t a dysmorphia thing?

It could definitely help. And yes, for non-gender dysphoria related things as well. All the people who get cosmetic surgery give the impression of being in desperate need of talking to someone.

But the original point (not yours, the one by the couple of posters who brought this up) wasn' t "cosplaying 24/7 and obsessing over it is weird and childish" it was "any adult who watches cartoon/super-hero movies/star wars etc is childish because those are not adult interests".

What is considered adult entertainment anyway? Another poster made this same question and they received my and u/lefterfield' s sarcastic comment back, but seriously, what makes a movie childish and whatever movie that poster was thinking of adult entertainment? It' s a bunch of people who are paid millions to play pretend regardless of how they do it.

[–]Omina_Sentenziosa 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Right. But unfortunately, we live in a gendered society, not a postgenderist one. Gender abolition is going to take centuries. In the meantime, we should be modifying the social construction of gender to be least oppressive, and least harmful.

That' s your prerogative, I refuse to do it. I will keep acting like gender and self-id are idiotic and dangerous and I will keep not respecting them and criticizing at any given chance.

Given your inability to provide concrete examples thus far, you aren’t able to make this argument. Transgender people would benefit from an identity-based gendered society, GNC people would benefit, natal women and natal men would benefit, literally everyone would benefit from a transition away from expression-based gender to identity-based gender.

You can' t prove anything either. And again, I wouldn' t benefit from it, so it' s not "literally anyone".

Why are you so triggered right now? Good grief. Nobody is forcing you to do anything.

Awesome!

Like I said several times, I’m against self identification legislation, which includes things like compelled speech/misgendering. You can do whatever you want, you can choose to misgender trans people if you’d like, however, you’d be epistemologically incorrect in a world which accepts gender is rooted in self identification.

Thankfully that world will never exist. So I won' t have to worry about being "epistemologically" incorrect.

Got it. Unironic feels-over-reals. “Woman” would not exist in a postgenderist society. “Man” would not exist in a postgenderist society. They are entirely products of a gendered society.

Nope.

No. A male who identifies as a woman, is a woman, but not female.

Great: my definition of woman cannot exist without female biology. So a male cannot be a woman.

Is your argument really “minorities don’t matter”? Really? Given your inability to show how it negatively impacts the other 99.4% of the population, I absolutely support something which brings social utility to 0.6% of the population.

Well, I don' t. Not this. We aren' t talking about something that can indeed bring benefits, no matter how much you cry about it, or something that is literally not a big deal. This is both a huge deal and something that will bring problems.

I am strongly against compelled speech, so we can end this aspect of the discussion. My position does not include demanding people by force to gender trans people correctly. That being said, I don’t care, sorry. The “harm” of your limited unhappiness does not override the harm induced by not accepting transgender individuals in the social sense, as well as the transition to identity-based gender.

So, just to make it clear, you don' t care about the harm you are going to bring, but I should care about the harm I am going to bring. Got it.

Oh no, it absolutely does.

Wow, you see the future? That' s an awesome super-power!!!!

You have 0 concrete examples, 0 data backing your claims. Meanwhile, if you’d like to, I can provide you a plethora of research which directly shows that trans people are positively impacted by being socially accepted. Meanwhile, you’d need to present evidence that there is evident harm against everyone else that somehow outweighs the harm not accepting trans people would cause.

The only data you have is reports of trans people' s words. That is not objective or concrete in the fucking least. Just because it was written on a study, it doesn' t mean it' s true when it' s literally based on feelings. Even if it were true, just because it' s better for trans people it doesn' t mean it' s better in general. You can' t know it because it' s never happened, so you can' t have anything to compare your utopic ideas with what would indeed happen.

That said, let' s make it easy: I am not going to use your system or support your ideas. Ever. I don' t care if it hurts trans people, I prefer being able to call a man a man. So go on trying to make that world happen: I am glad that, if it ever happens, I will be long dead and I won' t have to live in it.

Good night.
