Rather stupid but it just irked me. Mate was playing Far Cry 6, I was watching, and all of the sudden a NPC transman appears. If it would add anything to the story, fine but this just seemed stupid. I missed you guys on Reddit for some reason, probably because I tried to be a good left leaning feminist. However, I've been quite wary about the gender ideology for several years now. I think it started with the takeover of the LGB+ community. Suddenly everything seemed to be centered around the T, progressing to lesbians should accept girldick, gays should accept boypussy and bi's were TRANSPHOBIC as Bi means two. Well then. But as a straight woman in a relationship with a bisexual, I didn't think it was my place to say it out loud and furthermore, I thought I just wasn't being accepting and I didn't hear any backlash from within the LGB community.

Then the takeover of women's issues and spaces, erasing women, trans identifying males claiming to have periods, the transing of children, transing of almost everybody (including me, I am apparently a non-binary according to some as I watch football), going backwards to the 1950s gender stereotypes, claiming hormone therapy is completely innocent and reversible, the pronouns and so on. I also noticed the overlap with the incels from back in the day.

I felt, and sometimes still feel like I'm a bad person for not accepting it. But I just can't agree with it, I can't agree with the erasure of women, the erasure of years of fighting for women's rights and LGB rights and going back to insane strict gender roles.

I'm rambling a bit, sorry about that.

About ten years ago, when I was at uni for my master's degree, we discussed the (then) upcoming DSM-5 and the changes regarding gender identity disorders, now gender dysphoria. One of the things the professor mentioned was the GID diagnosis was troublesome with children. Most didn't persist, of course the risk of comorbidity and, this was one the man emphasised, parents that preferred a trans kid instead of a gay kid.

This shouldn't be news, it was already fucking known. We have wasted kids' lives and resources for years while we already knew this.

Fucking hell. Better late then never but this was absolute bullshit to begin with.

Yeah, I think we can survive. Let's face it, KF survived quite a bit and has less rules than for example us,. With that in mind, KF is seen as a far right nazi doxing forum and all very angry terrible people. Whether it is true or not, it doesn't matter: that's their public image and that doesn't help. It sells the story quite nicely that they are the underdog.

We, however, have don't have that image which makes it harder (not impossible but harder) to target us a very angry nazi's. On the other hand: sites known to have CSA material and god knows what else of horrific shit, are left alone. That's something to keep in mind.

If we can manage to be and stay civil (and I for instance could be a bit eh... nicer) and back up everything we say, we should be more or less fine. Archive things, show the world the evidence that was out in the open to begin with and they WISH would vanish (one thing I like about the old school forum style is that you can easily find things back).

Anyway, It might be difficult but not impossible. I do think we all need to keep a cool head.

Depends on the subject, Wallonie is usually more socialist and leftist compared to Flanders. Flanders has a far right party that is growing again steadily and a Flemish nationalist party that is more on the conservative side.

In Flanders, however, we have the Green party with a transgender minister and a transgender party member happily dancing in lingerie during the Pride last year or the year before. Don't get me wrong: the girl played a very stupid game, doesn't seem very nice, and indeed indifferent. He, however, keeps on nagging and whining because he is such a true and honest woman. From my perspective, the guilt tripping is just as toxic as I have had the unpleasant experience of dudes trying to guilt trip me into bed, in some cases including crying, after saying 'sorry, I don't see this work'. I am quite biased, I agree.

To make it absolutely clear, I do not believe or think LGBs are all pedo's in disguise as I have seen some conservatives claim. Fuck that noise. If anything in this example, Amsterdam Pride and most people were quite clearly AGAINST it and told them to fuck off.

However, the Netherlands doesn't have the best track record, as I stated in my previous post, paedophiles have been trying to latch on the LGB movement for decades and were somewhat successful back in the 1970's. Current activists pretending it never happens is just false. It's easy to find out it already DID fucking happen.

Even if you agree paedophiles should get help, as I personally do believe (however, how to help is one big fucking mess as we still hardly know how to treat it), there's a big fucking difference between 'I need help' and '#Pedopride'.

This is a quite common problem in straight relationships. The genderwoowoo about dysphoria is... well just that. TMI but after ten years of trying several hormonal contraceptives, it was decided I best not try it anymore and go for copper and/or condoms.

Not sure whether my opinion is wanted as only an ally but I think this route is the best option, especially with help from known members with experience. As I understand, it would be something like ovarit but with the emphasis in LGB and dropping the t.

Ovarit is quite active, more than saidit, and an offsite might be easier for other LGBs to find and feel safe. You will never be able to rule out trolls but I suspect it would be easier to kick them out. I don't know, perhaps sone organisations like LGB alliance could be helpful?

Whatever you decide, I admire the work you all do and have done, and when wanted I will follow.
