Lol looks like I'm doing all my christmas shopping at lush by [deleted] in GenderCritical

I saw the thread on the lush sub about this earlier, and the crying was outrageous. Basically lots of blubbering about "bu-but it's only in the UK, not the US right?? I can still buy my bath stuff??" "Never spending money here again!" and lots of "well I'M a FEMINIST and How Dare Women Not Focus on Trans People!"

Just...pathetic.

Non binary asks if they are welcome. Disregards only answer that says no and calls them transphobic. Why bother asking? by [deleted] in GenderCritical

[–]Minerva 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

They do this on purpose. They know if anyone shows any resistance, those users or the sub will be marked by TRAs and promptly brigaded and/or banned for being a "hate" sub, or a bigoted user. The only "safe" answer is yes.

Lush could sell a clump of dirt studded with lemons for $35 if they claimed it offered "bright, uplifting exfoliation." Lush can fuck off with their wokebro greenwashed bullshit.

I swear it's just pure nonsense at this point. "TERF" just gets tacked onto shit like "nazi" and "racist" and people who don't know any better just assume they're all the same thing because of shit "rules" like this. Radfems are just spooky internet boogey(wo)men who must be kept away at all costs! 🙄

It's so, SO transparent what they're doing. I hope the subs they're infiltrating and terrorizing can make it here in time. I wonder what they'll have to whine and play the victim about when they've gotten every sub for actual homosexual people and actual women banned? Everyone knows those folkxxs can't live off validation alone. :)

TRA's on twitter foaming about the term ''womxn'' by koonay in GenderCritical

[–]Minerva 21 insightful - 1 fun21 insightful - 0 fun22 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Oh jeez. If I'm not mistaken, the only (and I really mean only) people I see using "womxn" are all aggressively woke libfem women to "encompass" actual women, nbs, and like...femme-aligned-people, whatever that actually refers to. Maybe men who wear nail polish? That's the "womxn" I know, and to see other libfems screeching about how it's transphobic is hilarious. They really do eat their own.

Now, if people are using it like "womyn" or "wimmin", I'd be surprised, since those two are seen as notoriously "terfy" dogwhistles to a libfem. Hmm.

Gee, I wonder if that sub will be added to the Evil Hate Sub List and be targeted for the outrageous crime of not wanting to see penis?

Not exactly. Tumblr has always had a thriving radfem community, surprisingly enough. It's gotten much larger within the past two years.

Vegetarian here! I often make: red lentil curry, Italian pasta salad (but with romaine as well), cauliflower cheese soup, aloo matar, veggie pizza, and pita with hummus and cold sliced vegetables! If you eat eggs, there's also the frittata, omelet, and egg salad sandwich.

The answer to your second question is yes- at least in my observation.

They all seem to feed off of eachother online and are usually dweeby men and/or incels that were online all their lives to begin with. They were already enmeshed in moderator positions in forums (as seen on Reddit, for example), work in a field that has to do with IT more often than not, and have lots of influence on platforms like Twitter, where loud aggressive opinions are king. This is why it seems impossible to escape them. They're net-savvy dorks who decided to become their own GFs and turn the tide of LGBT progress into advancing Men's Rights Activism Pt. 2. With the power of the internet behind them, of course.

That's my theory, anyway. 😄

I don't have hope for this, but I really do wonder if the media would be interested in hearing about Reddit's campaign against safe spaces for gays/lesbians, bisexuals, and women. Especially women. It's fucking insane.

[–]Minerva 16 insightful - 1 fun16 insightful - 0 fun17 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's all just a vulgar mix of sex stereotypes, spirituality (having a "female soul" or whatever), and circular logic with them. No matter- if a man says he is something, no one is allowed to question him. That's how we got where we are now.

I remember when the GC sub had less than 5k subs. I was one of them. I'm still half-shocked this actually happened, especially since we went so long without being banned.

I'm disappointed that we're being lumped in with legit racists and their ilk, and that we have to be corralled and decentralized simply because we know women are adult human females as opposed to believing something, you know, ACTUALLY heinous and dangerous. But whatever.

I'm gonna put in a good word here for radfem tumblr if you aren't there already. I understand being reluctant to participate due to all the theythems and TiMs, but radblr has been keeping me sane throughout all this. I know it could always be taken away like reddit was, but it's something.
