It is taboo to save minors from TRA. Minors are their bread and butter. SO obviously they will try their hardest to silence everyone.

/r/Books is pissed off that historical female authors who were forced to publish under male pen-names are having their work republished under their real names, because apparently it's evil to assume they weren't trans by marmorsymphata in GenderCritical

[–]MezozoicGay 68 insightful - 1 fun68 insightful - 0 fun69 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

If those women were publishing under their women's name, they would not be published in the first place. And in many countries they would be put in prison for doing that.

Women just had no rights at all, there were no way for woman to do ANYTHING as woman, so the only way was is to pretend that they are a man. Those TRA are so blind in their midle class straight men privileges, that they can't even imagine what "not having rights" can possibly be, and they are thinking that women back then lived like men living right now.

Hey, even JK Rowling was publishing under men's name. Is she a trans now? All this anti-JKR movement is transphobic then!

George Eliot continued to publish as George Eliot even after her identity became known

I wonder, if that has something to do with publishers not allowing any women books to be published or not?

And "even after her identity became known" - are they thinking there was internet back then? Only few academics and aristocracy did know that. And even if with some miracle publisher decided to publish first book written by woman, I can imagine her loosing all customers if she publish under her real name.

By the way, I needed to google about George Eliot to know who it is, because in our schools, since USSR times we were studying her as Mary Ann Evans.

we can be valuable in discussing feminism

That’s exactly the point, we don’t think you can be valuable. If anything you’re a liability and hurting feminism.

For instance as a young professional, there’s been a real push in recent years by young people for a more casual work environment. For many women, it means no make-up, no skirts, no fancy blouses or high heels to work, just jeans, t-shirts and sneakers. While women are saying “no more make up, skirts, and high heels”, trans women are saying the opposite! that if you see someone wearing make-up and a skirt at work, it means they’re a woman. While women are saying “we don’t want to be treated like women, an equal society is where men and women are treated equally”, you have trans women screaming they “just want to be treated like women”. As you can see, our objectives are conflicting. The gender roles women are working to dismantle, trans people are relying on them and want to hold them up, in order to “affirm their identities” We are not on the same team!

Nice comment there.

Someone with TikTok should connect with her, calm her down and help her to understand that this is just plain homophobia. Those TRA are literally same people who were beating homosexuals 50 years ago, or maybe even worse. And question like "Do you hurt them, or do they hurt you?" should make her realize what is happening too. No need for political help, just human help.

Nowadays TQ+ not just have different goals and unrelated approaches with LGB, but TQ+ are actively trying to destroy LGB. Long time since homophobia on west was so agressive and huge.

Edit: in answers to that tweet, there her other videos, and screens of homophobic bullies with "to stop harassment you need to sleep with transbian with penis, or we will not believe you are sincere apologizing". And of course they will not stop bullying no matter what. And more weakness you show, the stronger they will attack. It is like with Terrorists - no negotiations. In our country our president recently fullfilled wish of one terrorist who took hostages. And you know what? Now almost daily new someone is trying to take hostages and ask something for themselves.

Lyrics is implying that she got good status because she slept her way up. And that she is getting her items by sleeping with people.

Again, how is that empowering?

I thought that "I want a promotion on work, but boss will not let me, so I will have sex with him and get promotion" is a big problem for women, who are not getting their fair pay or promotions until they fullfil sex wishes of men who hold more power. Seems it was not misogyny, it was just women empowering! Looks like women were never oppressed, it all was just empowerment.

And this comic ignore the part, that it is not we, who are coming to transes and saying "we will not date you", it is them who are infiltrating our spaces and trying to force us to date them, while using old-school homophobic reasoning.

Basically person is saying they were bullied into becoming a trans, and that it is all society fault, but they are too week to fight against it, and just living on drugs/hormones makes life so much easier to them, plus nowadays it is praised socially, so even more easier it becomes.

That egg_irl "solve all problems and be happy if you just take 100 mg of some drugs" is a bit too close to home, as in 1990th my cousin died to exactly that. He was hooked by some fake psychiatrist, who said will help with depression and anxiety, and with his sexuality (cousin was bi-sexual and was afraid of it), and start giving some drugs which in reality were not midicine but addictive drugs, and cousin just got addicted and died on one of the psychiatrist sessions from overdose. Psychiatrist then run away to other country, and was never caught. Those subreddits sounds literally like that masquaraded drug dealer.

I am glad that you was able to return to normal and realize yourself and your views better.

"Cisgender women" does not mean lesbians specifically. And it is just survey. Accounts posting in different subs overlap is showing that transgender people there much more than anyone else: https://subredditstats.com/subreddit-user-overlaps/actuallesbians

As I am understanding from the description, this means that 55 times more users from /r/actualelsbians are posting in /r/mtf, 43 more times in /r/asktransgender, 40 more times in /r/egg_irl and 39 more times in /r/traaans than in most other subreddits and third or quarter of those numbers posting more there than in /r/askwomen. For every user of /r/actuallesbians who posted in /r/askwomen there will be at least 14 users posted in /r/mtf, 11 users posted in /r/asktransgender, 10 users posted in /r/egg_irl and 9-10 users posted in /r/traaans.

So "cisgender" women there should be a huge minority (at least judging by activity), and even among them majority seems to be just bisexual women.

Help with conversion therapy to overcome homosexuality?

and never a reason to exclude all women

There is always a reason to exclude anyone and any group of people for any reason from your sexual life and dating pool. I dislike very tall guys (190-195+ cm), for example, I am excluding all of them from my dating pool instantly. It does not make me tallphobic, it does not mean I hate all tall people. I am excluding muslims as well from my dating pool (because I know we will not get along, and there no reason for both parties to suffer), it does not make me islamophobic either. I have more than a dozen of transsexual friends (funnily enough, they are all gender critical), but I never will date or have sex with any of them, I do not hate any of them either, the opposite is true - I love them as friends (we have word for this in our language). Love is not "I want to have sex with you", hate is not "I don't want to have sex with you", feelings are not only about acts of sex.

As I've learned from my lesbian friend, it is much better if you show her their actions, how they are erasing lesbian history and women, how they are infiltrating sports, how they are hurting young lesbians, show detransitions, and so on. There a lot of things! And do not be agressive, just put plain facts, names, situations (like violent attack on Vancouver Women's Library, while they already had Vancouver Transgender's Library). Because their ideology is just a religion, so it is hard to logically explain why it harms, without showing the results of their actions.

[–]MezozoicGay 40 insightful - 1 fun40 insightful - 0 fun41 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Overwhelming majority of transwomen are holding their penises. In 2015 around 88% were still with penises by their own statistics, since then amount of transwomen raised by more than ten times (and if include non-binary transwomen and transmen, then raised by 100 times), but amount of surgeries only doubled (mostly because double mastectomy of transmen), so for today number with penises will be around 95-97%, if not more.

So their "vaginas" are not even close to real ones.

The irony that no one knows about surgery how it really is

The irony is that this person thinks that people not knowing about it is a bad thing for trans movement, while in reality it is the opposite, if they did know - they would be heavily against it be made on kids, or in general.

[–]MezozoicGay 39 insightful - 1 fun39 insightful - 0 fun40 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Actual answer is very simple.

You could have noticed that this ideology and activism is appearing only in developed countries, where women are getting rights and never in countries where being woman is very hard.

Last few thousand years men were dictating women what to do, how to live, what to wear.

And now, when women are finally starting to get independence, some men (and in some societies majority of men) are disliking that, as they do not want to lose control over women. They are feeling entitled enough to define what woman is. So how they think "feeling like woman" is - it how it must be and no other way, just because they want to define womanhood same way they were doing it for millenia. And narcissism with paraphilias added to that. But there is one problem - society became more liberal, so they now need to create new ways to paint their urge to control women as something "progressive" for society to accept it.

The holes that TERFs exploit by Chunkeeguy in GenderCritical

[–]MezozoicGay 37 insightful - 1 fun37 insightful - 0 fun38 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

TERFs look at this and say "trans women actually have male privilege" and trans people's only response seems to be "no, it's not happening".

The sole fact, that transwomen are hired as high managers, directors in many female organizations, or getting places in office where no female had place before - is speaking that yes, they do have male privilege. Maybe not all of them, but most do.

The fact that their problems are so highly discussed, that they control media, big tech companies listening to them (and banning those evil terves), they are on mainstream, while women still struggling to put their problems in any meaningful way - like there is stil tampon tax in USA, menstruation is still a taboo, yet transes already made it possible to transition young kids and medicalize them. In just a year they get more support, gained more money and got laws - more than LGB or women got in centuries.

Trans women have on average lower incomes than cis men and cis women.

There not than many transwomen in world, so I am pretty sure that income of "top 3 richest women CEO are transwomen" combined with the rest transwomen in general will make "on average" to be really high number.

The reality is that there are still proportionally less MTF politicians than cis male politicians and cis female ones.

And the reality is that there is much less MTF people than males of females. And yet they are disproportionally represented. So if you take "on average", there will be much more MFT politicians per 10000 trans than female politicians per 10000 females. And the sole fact that MTF's are taking positions in office that were supposed to be female positions from Equality Act speaks volumes.

First of all - our problems are very different problems, so we don't have anything in common to stand for.

Second - this new gender ideology is very homophobic on its nature.

Third - it affects kids, especially young gay boys and lesbian teens, ruining their lifes forever.

Fourth - it throws back all our effort on normalizing "non-conforming" gender neutral or "wrong gender" cloths. It has to do with feminism more than with LGB issues, but it has to do with LGB as well. Women were able to wear any "men" cloths, and men were slowly getting there as well (previously here people will call you gay or attack if you wear red or pink shirt, nowadays it is normal). And gender ideology is returning back stereotypes, that "some stuff is inherently men stuff and some stuff is inherently women stuff", which is not true at all. By that definition any LGB person is transgender, as liking "wrong sex" is already non-conforming to gender stereotype.

A woman that presents herself as a man is still abused because of her reproductive system by a man that presents himself as a woman?

It is almost like all this gender ideologists theories about "transwomen as oppressed as women, because they look feminine, and they don't have male privilegies anymore" is a complete lie. And it is almost like sexism is actually based on sex, not gender or "looking feminine", and mainly on reproductive system. Color me surprised.

It is one of the most illustrative examples of why gender theory is just nonsense, and why both LGB and feminists are fighting against it.

There was openned "Transgender's Library" and all was fine, but then there openned "Women's Library" and trans activists went to boicot it, threatening with violence and physically coming to opening ceremony to make it fail, and they wanted to make it include trans people there too. So they have their own one, but they want to be in every other one as well.

I see. Biology is offensive nowadays.

Young girls (and actually boys too) need to know how to deal with their body, how to use hygiene products. And such themes should not be considered as "taboo", so teens can discuss them and will not be "something is wrong, but I am afraid to speak about it with anyone" - and ending up with some serious problem or disease.

Here in post-USSR a lot of lesbians I know were hating themselves and withing to born male, because it was hard to live as a woman and as a homosexual in this reality. Nowadays all of them would just try to become transgenders instead, and then suffer the rest of their life.

And this one seems bi-sexual with more alinging towards women-liking, so men-liking feels "gay" to her.

And this:

I find it interesting that when biological males talk about being a woman, they seem to focus on apparel, makeup, and manicures. I think if some of these men actually had to deal with the biological reality of being a woman, they might run back to identifying as male.

Or this:

The more I watch these videos the more I'm convinced that being a transgender is a serious mental illness. These are people who will never be happy with who they are. This person was not happy as a man, so he went to all the trouble to get himself operated on and mutilated to turn himself into a woman. Then she wasn't happy with that either, so she tried to go back. Then again he wasn't happy with who he/she was and now wants to go back to being a female. This is absolutely ridiculous. At which point will this person realize that he/she is never going to be happy with who she (he? I lost track now) is unless she admits that there's a very serious psychological problem that surgery or hormone therapy is never going to fix. Go to a psychologist and figure yourself out. Please. And all these these idiots calling out "transphobic!" are part of the problem.

Yesterday evening I discovered one funny fact from few people I know through internet, and one of them was calling his friends as "lesbians". And yesterday he was speaking about "how society is hating homosexuality" and in example mentioned those "lesbians". And in mentioning there was a part when both of "lesbians" went to male toilet, and he was afraid that something will happen to them, as they both transgenders with penises but "passing as women very good". I laughed hard from that. Homosexuals for sure, but "lesbians"? Words has no meaning anymore.

This mega-wokeness is so destructive. Did they created anything on their own? Did they created spaces for their problems?

No, they are only going to other people (mostly women) places and destroying them, leaving so many people without help or advices. And worst part when it happens in real life and not internet, like it happened with VRR, when instead of funding their own center or at least trying to cooperate - they tried to destroy it instead.

Recently I've read (in printed press) an article that many pills nowadays are tested only on men, and even when tested on women - it is done not enough. And because of that many "general" pills are more often harmful to women (and women reproductive system is not counted at all in many cases in testing). And specifically were called "Contergan" painkillers as most destructive case of this.

And with this wokeness, what will be? Will they start testing women-specific pills on transwomen? It is all so surreal. Society lost last glimpses of logic.

I asked one of TiM's I know, he said that author was doing transphobic tweets in Twitter for years. And by transphobic he showcased some tweets like "transwomen still have male socialization and in most cases acting like men, so none of my works about women stereotypes is affecting them in any way". And I can assure you she is right, as I know transsexuals who are 25+ years after transitioning, and still acting like gay men. But it is "transphobic" nowadays to think like that, because now "being woman" is what men say.

So most likely they never read the book, and just went "she is TERF, so book must be TERF too".

I am still sad about young people, as they grown up with the idea that this is a correct way to go, that this is how LGBT works. All they ever saw was TQ+ agenda on twitter/reddit. And maybe she is just butch lesbian, or masculine straight, but her mind is infested with all this dangerous TQ+ agenda, and most likely she just ruining her life by following them. If "non-binary" agenda is only hurting their minds, T agenda is hurting their bodies, to a point that it can never get fixed back.

When I was most active in our LGB communities 15-20 years ago, we were saying to young people - it is right to be as you are, you should not blame yourself that you are different, you should be proud of being who you are, you should not blindly follow gender stereotypes and just be yourself. Fix your depression by accepting yourself as you are.

And what this new TQ+ agenda is? Literally opposite. "If you are not in gender stereotype - you are queer/nonbinary", "If you like something different that your gender stereotype says - you are transgender and must follow opposite gender stereotype", "fix your depression by pretending you are someone else and with hormone-drugs", "you are not free to express yourself, unless you are nonbinary". Cages and chains everywhere.

'Research shows many trans folks' sexual attractions change after transition' So were they lying to themselves or everyone else? by Chunkeeguy in LGBDropTheT

[–]MezozoicGay 29 insightful - 5 fun29 insightful - 4 fun30 insightful - 5 fun -  (0 children)

Article is very homophobic. And they are quoting only research about MtF transgenders, but interviewing FtM instead. Research had 232 MtF transgenders, all from one same surgeon, one same city and group. And research is from 2005 year, about 1990-2005 years, so before all this transgender boom, when most transitioners were homosexual men. There few studies, but only one of them is actual research (from 2005 year), other ones seems to be political statements without much evidence or research done.

And study is weird, because "85% of participants experienced orgasm at least occasionally after SRS and 55% ejaculated with orgasm."

How they can ejaculate, if they had SRS? Study also said that many became asexual, so your idea about "social acceptable" seems to be true as well.

More frequent autogynephilic arousal after SRS was correlated with more frequent masturbation, a larger number of sexual partners, and more frequent partnered sexual activity

Plus study is mostly taking to account AGP transwomen, so nothing weird in them "changing" sexuality. Some of them seems were "virgins" before, so only after transition started dating and having sex - so most likely they were gay or bisexual men with internalized homophobia. I know at least one such gay man, who was saying they love women, but never dating one or liking any stars, they only liked male stars "for their actor talent", but after transition they "started dating men, they were straight before and they are straight now again".

Quoting the article (not study):

In tested transwomen [...] where 43% reported significant shifts in their sexual orientation (of 2+ points along the 7-point Kinsey scale).

+2 points on Kinsey scale is not significant, and it means that they were bisexual to begin with. So going from "Liking women a lot and liking men a bit" to "Liking women normally, and liking men a bit more" is not changing their sexuality at all.

it is undoubtedly fluid to some extent, so shifts in attraction could be no different from those that happen to many cisgender folks as well. Research with cisgender populations finds that almost 20% of young adult women and 5% of men report changes in their attractions over a 5-year period.

So "cis" gays and lesbians, or "cis" straight - 20% of them are becoming bisexual, and every 5 years their sexuality shifts a bit! Why no one is noticing it, then?

Imagine you’re in a female body and you identify on the masculine spectrum. You don’t want to be sexual with men, because those men would treat you as a female-bodied person, and that kind of sexual interaction is not of interest to you. So even if you did have attractions for men, you might not engage with men or even indulge in fantasies about men until you can be witnessed as and interacted with in your affirmed gender.

I have no words here.

Please. I don't even know how to respond to something this nonsensical. So basically, this supposed scientist's answer is, "I didn't let myself be attracted to men because I understand that men hurt women, so I have to be a man in order to safely be attracted to men." These poor young women. Instead of teaching young men to treat them right, we're teaching the women and girls that they can just become men and not have to deal with misogyny anymore. Because not wanting to be treated like a sex object means they're actually men.

I've noticed it is a lot with young lesbians, most of them seems to be non-binary or transmen. In videos someone posted here, from young detransitioners - all of them were lesbian tomboy girls, who were bullied for not looking feminine enough or for liking boys, but after transition they were praised and not bullied anymore. Tavistock own data from Keira Bell case showed that 2/3 of transmen (women) transitioned with reasoning of being tomboys or liking girls, I believe 1/3 were lesbians there. This trans movement is very toxic towards young GNC kids and towards LGB youth.

There's no actual counter argument to it

So he is saying "TERFs are right and there no counter to their words", but still against them? So he is conciously lying and asking others to lie?

And first comment appeared to me is just wow:

Obviously there are differences between people, and those differences affect life outcomes. Pregnancy and building a family is the big reason women are disadvantaged in the workplace in the United States. So who is more privileged, women who can't get pregnant or those who can?

The answer is deceptively simple: Who gives a shit?

We need to fix structural inequalities that disadvantage women both cis and trans, and not worry about which woman or type of woman is doing better or who the highest paid female CEO is.

Really? Saying "Women have such and such problems, but who cares? Lets fix only problems that both transwomen and women have." and thinking it is fine?

So white trans women should just start apologizing more for being successful? Or explaining that their "male" privilege should be balanced against their lack of cis privilege?

And what is "cis" privilege exactly? Men have privilege over women not because they are "cis". So if you have "male" privilege as trans, this means you have privilege over women in general.

And "cis" privilege is what - having pay gap, not having abortion rights, being put into menstruation huts, having no voting rights, and so on? Not sure anyone would like to have such "privilege".

TERFs are going to exploit whatever they can [...] to be transphobic. It's what they do. TERFs are transphobes.

Nice arguments. So anyone who is saying that transwomen in Rugby is dangerous to women is only making this to hate transes and be transphobic, not because they are concerned about women?

And those "genital fetishists" in countries where gays and lesbians are executed by law - are just loving extreme and are masochists, tought by homophobic societies to "prefer" outlawed genitals.

Reddit mods panic and delete 20% of posts on a thread about transwomen in women's prisons because the general mood is not supporting it. by GConly in GenderCritical

Easy to play a victim, when you have so many privileges and you are holding so much power.
