It only lasts a few hours per dose, which is the least of your worries but still a hassle. Certainly not a permanent cure for gender dysphoria.
It explicitly does not change your voice. The trans character Sirona Ryan in Hogwarts Legacy was condemned by TRAs for having "a man's voice", despite being voiced by a real trans woman.
It changes your appearance to that of a specific real person, whose hair is added to the potion just before consumption. It doesn't let you fine-tune your appearance, or become your "true self" of the opposite sex, only take the form of someone you are not.
