[–]LilianH 39 insightful - 2 fun39 insightful - 1 fun40 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Broadly it goes like this.

LGB people spend decades building up political and corporate support in the fight for gay marriage, which was achieved in 2015 in the USA (slightly earlier or later in other countries). Once that fight was over what was left was a lot of activist groups who suddenly saw their funding drying up and these were groups all run by people who had made careers out of being activists.

Along came transgender activists and gave these groups funding and something to be activists about again. Virtually overnight in the USA all of these LGBT groups switched to all trans all the time and it's steadily become worse and worse over the past 5 years.

So to sum up, they have canibalised the gay rights movement and are using it as a cover to spread their gender cult.

From a description of the book.

PoMoSexuals gives voice to 15 people living in the gray areas of gender and sexuality who struggle with what it means to have "nonstandard" erotic desires and identities in America. They represent people on the margins of gender and sexuality, ranging from a man who becomes a lesbian woman to a heterosexual woman exploring her attraction to gay men and a lesbian who writes gay male porn.

It's one of those books.

Once you accept gay men and lesbians are just like everyone else in the world, you have to accept that there are going to be some who vote conservative, just like everyone else in the world. In Europe there are at least two right-wing parties with lesbian leaders (including Serbia which has a lesbian prime minister at the moment).

In my country (Australia) the more progressive the party gets the fewer LGB members it has (e.g. in federal politics the right-wing Liberals have 4 gay and 1 lesbian members, the centre-left Labor party has 1 gay and 2 lesbian members, and the super mega progressive pro-trans Greens have zero LGB members)

I've read her book. The only women who were "sexualy fluid" were those who at the start of the study were bisexual (however they identified themselves). Lesbians (there were only 3 in her study) were still lesbian at the end of the study, and straight women were still straight at the end of the study. Those who started attracted to both men and women (i.e. bisexual) moved about a bit depending on their relationships and changed how they identified their sexuality, but remained bisexual at the end of the study.

Grammarly and GLAAD's "are you using the right LGBT words?" clusterfuck. Apparently "homosexual" is bad so you should use "gay" instead... but also, "gay marriage" is bad and you should use "same sex marriage" instead. Huh?! by OPPRESSED_REPTILIAN in LGBDropTheT

During the 2017 gay marriage campaign in Australia I was deliberately using gay marriage when everyone else was using same-sex marriage just to piss off the homophobes masquerading as supporters. The same reason I refer to the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras by it's full name, instead of the new "inclusive" Sydney Mardi Gras that the woke use now.

The key to understanding US politics is to realising that they don't have a left-wing party. They have a right-wing party and another right-wing party. It's voting for which flavour of neo-liberal corruption you want. Do you want new style corporate suit evil or traditional capes and fangs evil.

Is the Life Expectancy of Trans Women in the U.S. Just 35? No. by [deleted] in GenderCritical

[–]LilianH 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The original source of that stat was a report done by a trans rights group in Argentina or Chile and was specifically looking as trans women involved in prostitution who had HIV. The stat was then used in a study in Chile or Peru (my memory is a bit fuzzy over which countries it was) and then it got picked up by Brazilian LGBT groups around 2012 and filtered through to the USA a year or so after that where it became "the truth" and has been used ever source. There is, of course, the possibility that the original report was nonsense as well because it was done by a trans rights group.

Are Rome and Europe the Root of Patriarchy in the Rest of the World? by MarkTwainiac in GenderCritical

[–]LilianH 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Well it's not just the central/south American cultures, you'd have to include a deeply patriarchal society like China in the mix because it was never colonised by Europe and pre-dates the existence of Rome and in the middle-east, there is significant written evidence of Assyrian and Babylonian laws that enforced patriarchal control of women in marriage, and both of those civilisations predated Rome. Isolated cultures, e.g. Maori in New Zealand were still patriarchal.

They are just playing to the current "queer" narrative that gender roles and biological sex was invented in late Western Europe and pre-European cultures were perfect and equal. It's utter nonsense, there is no evidence to support their claims and they'll never provide any if you ask them.

They have been for years. They've been trying to get the "gay and lesbian" part of the name dropped and make it just Sydney Mardi Gras. They have been trying to take over the board for the past few years and now have 2 members on the 8 member board (Charlie Murphy and Alex Bouchet). This year they are holding a rebel "Mardi Gras March" on Saturday.

They actually had an announcement of their march a few hours ago (check out @PrideinProtest on facebook) and they were standing in front of a trans flag and they spoke about every far-left cause under the sun except gay and lesbian rights.

I don't know if this particular story is true, but I've seen a few articles in the past by women who were upset about being kicked out of gay saunas and clubs because they were female. There was also a gay event in New Zealand about 3 or 4 year back during Wellington Pride I think it was that was bullied and eventually dropped by the official Pride because it was a male only event. So people like this woman are definitely out there.

[–]LilianH 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Funny that you mentioned cultured meat. Do you know how that is made? What they do is get baby cow fetuses, taken from slaughtered cows who are pregnant when they are killed, and stick a needle into their tiny hearts while they are still alive to drain off their blood and then sent it to the lab to use to grow this cultured meat. Do you really want to eat lab grown meat after knowing that?

As for creating a realistic penis that's a sci-fi fantasy. It's not possible, and it won't be possible in the any currently conceivable future. The current process is mad scientist levels of crazy that no one should be allowed to do.

Almost every day is something day now.

Still to come over the next month we have,

October - LGBTQ+ History Month (all of October) - Intersex awareness day (26th) - Asexual Awareness Week (last week of October)

November - Trans parent day (1st) - Intersex Day of Remembrance (8th) - Transgender Awareness Week (or month, or fortnight... seems to get longer every year, probably from 2nd-19th) - International Pronouns Day (18th) - Transgender Day of Remembrance (20th)

And that's just in the upcoming month and I'm sure by the time that is up they'll have invented some more for December (or maybe not, they are too busy at home getting waited on by their mums over the holidays).
