I don’t think a lot of them realize that they are playing into the rules of their own making (encouraged by social factors, but not rules per se depending on location that MUST be adhered to). They see the rules only having one escape- to not be a woman, it’s not all women, just them personally, because they can’t enjoy living inside their idea of a woman’s box. Women that transgress that barely register to them- there’s always a reason- or they don’t know about them don’t register the cognitive dissonance.

So there’s one exit strategy and it comes with peers and rejoicing and finally getting some of the things you never did while being just a woman- respect, compassion. And you can finally just like what you like and do what you want. And they don’t realize, but because the barrier to you not doing them was always in your own head anyway, just like your identity/exit strategy it’s much harder to perceive.

They also tend to not get... you can just not think about gender. It’s an option. Not everyone obsesses about it. But I have said and will say again, I think this is elements of an anxiety disorder in MOST of those who are in the nonbinary hyper obsessed with gender because they actually experience discomfort. It is basically similar to OCD.

GNC, like drag, is on the trans spectrum when it is convenient. That is the most important point I can make- if it hurts their argument they’re suddenly “very different” if it helps, it’s “on the spectrum” so fast they get whiplash. I think a lot of these people could meet some more rural women who are GNC by the current online hyperfemininity standard. Many would easily pass as butch to them but are heterosexual lol and dressed appropriately for daily work and wear

I got out of it, I’ve known many women who did. They will come around, but a lot of people are not read to deal with their own traumas and how things are. Many will eventually. People miss out on the fact that it’s not quite as simple as “not like other girls,” they ignore the social aspects, guilt aspects, indoctrination, misogyny, lesbophobia, mental illness, personal trauma, etc. All have to be dealt with depending on the person- (though not to 100%) to be able to move forward* and realize they were trying to protect themselves, or appease someone.

This is a fetish, and I don’t just mean that in the normal way. Specifically: pregnancy is a fetish that transwomen have talked about online in some spaces for years. This is that. Anyone who would use that drug milk for their actual baby should lose custody, its not the same as men who can lactate naturally from stimulation (of which there’s like one culture that does that. ONE.). The women encouraging this have had their virtue signaling go to their heads or at least are trying to be entertained during their pregnancies. That TIF is 100% guaranteed to be masturbating to any photos or detailed stories in that group. I hope he seriously injures himself during his fake birth so he can explain that to an ED. Also 4 hours, “I want to simulate a birth but I’m just gonna mimic my ex-wife’s pregnancies” is super creepy especially while he is still living in a house with her and both the children. I hope women on that group leave and reform groups without such fucking insanity, to be honest #foundTheMPREGficReaders.

Well I hope we’ll move to pinpoint that certain sexual lifestyle choices are also not the same as being LGB, even if some LGB people do them. Kink, fetish shit, furry shit, bdsm, leather, orgies, threesomes, polyamory, public sex, “ageplay” etc.

I mean I already feel strongly these are not the same but its pretty clear some people inside and outside the LGB get the wrong idea about all of us. Some of us don’t want that shit as the face of our community and many of us have the basic comprehension to not do so in front of TV cameras.

I hope we can move towards meaningful activism intended to help people in other places secure basic rights and lessen abuse, work on domestic violence, mental wellness/illness treatment for those who need and substance abuse, decent representation that isn’t focused on everything about a personality is gay. Etc.

Also don’t mean to discredit work already done currently in these areas, I just would like to see the community have more time for these things.

The genderists created this narrative to be affirming to the transexuals (before the personality shift to TRAs) that someone can “feel” a gender. Much like weight, and attractiveness, and worthiness, and many other characteristics inherent in disordered thinking- it is not possible to feel a gender and more than it is possible to feel existence. Certainly I exist, but do I feel existence? No that would be dumb. I do feel pain etc, but that is describing a sensation. I do feel emotions, but those are feelings. It fucked with my head when I was in my gender phase, “anything but female” and it is fucking with many others now. It’s created a minority within several generations who probably are more likely to have existential and rumination issues as part of mental illness and exploited vulnerabilities and the combo that misogyny/homophobia and fear of the self would do to any captive audience.

The most wildly anti-GNC people are often trans and nonbinary identified people themselves. They want to use us when its convenient and the second we’re inconvenient to their point at hand, we’re chopped liver. In a single day of a TRA the labeling of a GNC person as trans or cis could flip flop 400 times. In their own day, they might just be themselves and not dress as conforming. Its a form of black and white thinking and if anything celebrities are more likely to be trapped into their boxes that support genderism’s rise.

It’s obvious to anyone whose ever lived more than 30 minutes into the country that they would not last a day without literally dying because someone misgendered them because most women in the country don’t perform hyper-femininity to the degree that the woke circles do. That isn’t a coincidence- the rise of hyperfemininity combined with insidious homophobia and misogyny is why we have the leap in at least lesbian and bisexual TIFs imo. It’s alienating as all fuck, and it’s more alienating if your also mentally ill or have a neuroatypical condition or if you’re trying to bond with other women and feeling rejected because you can’t half ass liking make up and frilly swooshy dresses and shit.

And the sad thing is pharmaceutical, surgeons, endocrinologists, and some therapists see it as a way to make $$. I’m not saying packing the kids up and taking them to a working farm would help a lot of them with context about the hyper gendered environment of most post-modern academic and tumblr/twitter infested virtue signaler infested nests... but a little context beyond TV and social media continually glamorizing hyperfeminity to the point of selfharm and mocking women in a more natural state might actually net some positive mental wellbeing gains for younger people. Maybe celebrities too need breaks away from what ends up apparently mental health shattering environments that encourage this sort of self imposed self destruction.

Tldr: Celebrities are out of touch and this makes it worse on young gullible people who buy into gender bullshit and adults who should damn well know better but struggle to think independantly. Just be your fucking self, for fucks sake, you’re like 35 dude.

^ I’ve been in exclusively goldstar groups because of how bad some of the anti-GS were (not the same thing as non-GS!) in an online community I was in that rarely but sometimes did bleed over into real life meetups. No one ever said this on the GS side, in fact a lot of the GS lesbians argued against such a thing— and many I have known have been raped or sexually abused by men.

The only people who I ever saw promote the idea that GS excludes women who have been raped were those in the “anti-GS” group- as a talking point to demonize goldstars— and it wasn’t the only dirty tactic they would use (suicide baiting, insults, shunning, lying, appeals to het/bi allies to interfere, etc). Most of the GS felt the term was either helpful to them pre/post coming out and so wanted it around so other young lesbians could find it, or found it tongue in cheek or light hearted enough to joke around with.

I just think in the case of these gender PR lost ones- it’s insecurity from both not wanting to be perceived as female, but also wanting to be acknowledged as female when its beneficial to them/knowing the truth but not wanting to admit it. It hasn’t gone on for decades! /s lol. Ok but in all seriousness feminism is only unpopular because people are gullible as fuck and don’t like thinking. Most of the people who attempt to critique feminism as a whole usually fail to make a point by generalizing wildly and thinking that is the same as class based analysis or the same as sex based oppression for men. They don’t really even get the basic concepts to stand on and its popular to “stan” for men right now because some men are mentally ill or some men are nice guys, so therefore they can simply spread the reversals and misinformation. When in reality they lack any sort of nuance or even basic understanding of what the various types of feminism are discussion or trying to do. It’d be sadder if it was significantly easier to access this info but somehow some people decided that its more radical to repeat Howard Stern-esque bullshit and call that reasoning.

The thing is, because they/thems are women 2.0 they get more attention by the media which inflates the numbers etc. it’s a contagion, but people can grow out of it. Many will only have had their gender persona online and in real life would look incredibly obviously feminine taking a 40 minute drive away from a city, they’re just surrounded by hyperfemininity in some places and gender weird in others and so they look like 2 choices to those with blinders up and lots of propaganda to be “kind” via gender fuckery.

If its at all related to your being a lesbian or them being religious it pretty much is an instant click, but you can say that its a heavy topic for a first date which somewhat code for ask me later. I still think the solution to trans inmates is so simple. Pick a prison, male or female, for a region. Make a wing for the trans inmates that allows them to talk but not share physical space with male inmates/female inmates, and separately keep the trans inmates so they don’t harm each other based on basic physical stature. Let the NB and TW and TM have their own wing in an existing prison and don’t socially intermingle them or at least not their intimate facilities like bathrooms. Wow, was that hard? “Wah separate but equal” fuck off prison isn’t your validation station, what matters is you can serve your sentence (if applied fairly) safely. You still: get acknowledged for what you are, don’t violate other prisoner’s rights, and are safer than being housed with males directly and female prisoners are safer than being housed with a man there. It’s significantly kinder than putting trans people into solitary confinement. I remember watching a documentary on a max security woman’s prison in the US. The women got a cell, and an hour in a cage every day and maybe some guard interaction and no social time. It’s interesting that TW often get transferred to lesser security women’s prisons because there are not enough high security women’s prisons. Wonder why ever that is, and why the prison system would be happy to build more?

(Remember whenever bathrooms come up, TIM love to claim women pose more of a threat to them than they do to us- but the very second it comes to prison they’re “safer” with women, can’t have it both ways.)

It’s been going on a long time. I remember being maybe 15/16 and a man telling me I couldn’t be a lesbian all women are bi, and hitting on me. That was not quite 15 years ago, and it predates my experience by far. In fact sometimes they never shut up about it (look at TRAs even the women there believe so). Its not uncommon for men to view women as tools, therefor women being bi is most appealing to them and exists for “no other reason.” And of course lesbians aren’t real, because no woman could possibly not want men or penises in their sex life (sound familiar, TIMs?).

Women are not people to some men. We’re tools, a swiss army knife of tools at that. Mother, therapist, sex toy, you name it, when it fits their needs. Women are not 3 dimensional nor human to them, they can barely comprehend we are autonomous.

Reading on codependency might be useful. You say kindness is most important to you after honesty, but you are being cruel to yourself and have not valued honesty for months.

There is a reason someone goes so vastly opposed to their values, every time, even if the reason doesn’t make sense to them at the time or to others. What are you afraid of? I am sorry, you didn’t cause the bigger issues but you can help yourself move forward, I don’t mean this as blame. He is responsible for his own behavior above all.

Wish you luck, you deserve happiness and peace.

Yes! Honestly they wanted us to 1) not use the term and 2) not speak about our lives. They claimed it was because “goldstar as a term is demeaning to them” but even if you didn’t use the term they’d jump on you. It’s 100% because they were traumatized and not getting treatment or making progress handling that trauma. We were there, having small discussions and repeatedly even if you made a joke that was only meant for 12 followers (not at anyones expense) someone would dig it up just to start shit. We were easy to find, and small because after years of being targeted a lot of us would wear it like a badge of honor.

It was WILD. It went on for about 5+ years but I left by then, my partner said it went on longer and I still see remnants of it going on today (almost 9 years later) in the same small public community.

I think all advice during this time goes out the window, frankly. People’s schedules, mental health, financial stability, responsibilities- it’s all fucked up and extra hard right now. Judge by the person and their actions but also prepare that it might not work out like you’ve been doing. There is no real normal in sight in the US at the moment at least, and that’s where my perspective comes from.

At the same time try not to leave yourself vulnerable or over attached where there’s very little investment on either side truly yet- which it sounds like you’re doing okay at. (Vulnerable in particular to catfishing). You could try and suss out a schedule, I’m surprised she chose a weekday honestly?

There’s a page for a now deceased lesbian artist which referred to her and one of her girlfriends living together in a sentence as “they.” Because she was gender nonconforming, some “good samaritan” came along and assumed this GNC lesbian was nonbinary/they/them and changed the pronouns in the article so its now unreadable to know when its referring to her and one of her multiple named girlfriends in the page or her alone.

I also checked every thesis paper on her I could find, every account available (there’s not a whole lot) besides one masculine nickname and how she dressed there’s nothing to account that she was “nonbinary” 60-80 years before the concept was invented. Whoever did it had less knowledge on this artist than I do, and yet they felt the need to change all the pronouns on her wikipedia page because they saw a “they” referring to a lesbian couple. When we talk about them going after specifically GNC lesbians with added energy (sometimes) aside from the cotton and boxer ceiling disasters, this is part of what we mean. GNC and LGB people can’t just exist, even dead, without being transed without our consent.

Yes, and in some honest cases probably BDD, PTSD. Basically there’s a whole gambit of unchecked mental illnesses and trauma that plague those are sincere in their feelings, even if I disagree with how those feelings are coming out and explained by them. The eating disorders being neglected especially is criminal to me, being how destructive eating disorders can be and typically in people with ED + Depression I am told the ED is given the priority. For some reason, throw in a gender identity and the ED comes in second- despite them being the more deadly/damaging family of conditions than gender dysphoria by far.

If the TQ try to push: We should push back then, the vast majority of people would likely be on our side. I don’t want to ally with those who otherwise don’t see LGB as human... but unlike other administrations I do think a normal administration can be reasoned and argued with. A large part of normal US politics is like it or not lobbyists and grassroots can go a decently long way.

I think Harris isn’t in just California anymore, that’s going to change the context. At least, I hope so. My big concern is how much the LGBT and feminist orgs who already have money and recognition have fallen for TQ shit. It’s weird, when those people also are unlikely to give them money. This is a war about allies, I think, ““good”” allies giving donations? Popular rhetoric online and in universities and social groups but not he truth of the mess outside those bubbles, people can be convinced of even bullshit if they’re motivated enough to and TQ does that motivating pretty well through coercion and guilt tripping.

To the TRA gay has lost all meaning, and it’s only going to get worse until it finally gets better (when the TRA get bored and find some other fucked up thing to occupy their time or they settle down into their reverse hetero lives). Gay is an “umbrella term” but when convenient to them also means “homosexual with an exception.“ Gays, lesbians, bi people, asexuals, demi this or that, some bastardized latin/greek words, they all fit under gay. Except exclusively homosexual men, just like exclusively homosexual women don’t get to be lesbians in the TRA clown world.

I have found this too. From what I have seen: It helps to calmly, kindly show things, but people need to think their way out of the maze. Some will never do it, many will once they have enough reason to question. Chances are a lot won’t come from you. Speak from personal experience, and as a witness to what happens. But they need to get themselves there, otherwise they’re just as disillusioned as before. Some friends will seek you out once they see something fucked up enough to really make them shudder. It won’t take long depending on where and with whom they hang out.

Mental illnesses being insufficiently treated and social issues being unacknowledged and dismissed which add to them. The combo there in is important and sadly few make much progress on their mental health when transition is used as the priority and an excuse by both themselves and their “medical providers” to ignore them all. And hey if you’re a woman it might be nice for once to have your doctors not ignore something when first presented to them like so many burnt out medical staff with underlaying biases do. It takes personal time to deal with much of this stuff and transition is about skipping thinking about the other stuff that lead to such a decision.

You can’t make peoples bad decisions for them. You can’t make people choose good decisions either. Sometimes you have to watch the cards as they fall and gently urge people to consider things a little differently, and hope it eventually gets through.

The more we hide the less examples we set to actually be happy in your own skin to the younger ones: none of the nonbinary and whatever genders seem to manage that, and I don’t mean it to make fun. They’re identities of deep seated insecurity, anxiety, trauma, and the desire to both stick out and opt in. Many will grow out of it and wish they could never say the words again. It’s demoralizing, but us existing at least somewhat openly is helpful.

[–]LeaveAmsgAfterBeep 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah some of them are, I think a lot of lesbians know the pain of being questioned and so project that onto the boogeywomen goldstars. Obviously if we refer to our experiences with a term, we somehow have.. power? We are always written about as “extremely fortunate” which is a hell of a leap, just because we did not suffer one type of trauma. To be honest, the anti-gs also have a crossover with polilez too, but not all. It’s... odd. For people who generally argued against anyone having sex they didn’t want, a lot seem against promoting ideas that you don’t HAVE to have sex you don’t want. Granted that should be a given by default for everyone including all women and all lesbians and goldstar shouldn’t be a rare status, but it still is. A lot of the anti-GS seemed to take pride in not being GS just as much as they hated having been through their truamatic experiences, so long as it was an excuse to actively shit on the small group of goldstars who got sick of seeing shit. At one point the words “how do you even know you’re a lesbian if you haven’t tried dick” was literally typed out by an anti-GS to us, along with a bunch of other “you’re not real lesbians and we’re better than you because we accept everyone” the old adage about being so accepting of everyone that the actual members are pushed out was never more beautifully illustrated than by that particular group who used the same arguments to (rightfully) critisize TRA and bisexual appropriators of “lesbian.” Just in too much pain and so afraid that we (idk 20 of us in a group of 400 to 1000 depending on the day?) somehow had “power” over them; when their group was much larger (maybe 100?).

It may sound irrelevant here, but I guarantee at least some of the discourse there spread to users on TL and here. Maybe not the same way, but witnesses of the shit show are likely around! 6 degrees of separation, etc. Same thing with polilez drama that same community encountered too, but hey at least I have some funny stories about some lady who sent herself fake threats to abort her baby “from lesbians,” her precious miracle “ShriMp Baby” whose sonogram she literally stole from the first result on google! 😝

[–]LeaveAmsgAfterBeep 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I can actually explain the link a bit. A lot of the fetishes you see loudly in the egg T groups are popular on the hentai fetish boards (or were maybe 10-15 years ago) on 4chan and similar boards. Reddit is essentially very similar in nature to 4chan but substantially less porn. They all would gather and encourage each other in their fetishes on the fetish boards. I was a teenager at the time and was horrified that when I got away from 4chan it was still around on tumblr, reddit, twitter, every other smaller social media site when possible, support groups online, and in real life.

The theory about rapid onset GD shouldn’t be thought of about only teenage and college age girls, but like any social contagion phenomena like men in fetish circles though obviously the presentation is different and the AGP connection still exists. Or otherwise at risk, mental illness, developmental conditions, etc.

People claim outlander is very feminist informed but what I watched of it seemed like in the early seasons the rape or attempted rape of the female main character were sexualized (literally shots of her ass as her stalker is attempting to rape her on a desk???). When her husband is raped by her stalker, it is portrayed as not sexualized and far more horrific from the camera angles used, more like torture. This is from a film making perspective and not how characters react to it, and once again- can’t speak to how the book is.

None of these made for adults shows that capitalize on veering so close to soft porn really do a very good job of handling serious issues against women of course.

The people I am least afraid of being attacked by as a lesbian is generally teenage girls. Unless you’re still in middle or highschool and you’re being bullied, generally the people who post the least amount of threat to you are teenage girls. If you are yelling at teenage girls and they are not harassing you: you are the harasser (and their being afraid is not harassment, even if teenage girls were afraid of me as a butch lesbian in a bathroom or changing room I would not yell at them or be mad! I would calmly ask them if my leaving would make them more comfortable, and generally I’d expect them to say no based on my voice, but even if they said yes, I’d leave. That’s what non-narcisistic non-fetishist non-predatory non-bullies do. I can’t say all GNC women would do the same, and really we shouldn’t have to, but I believe this is one thing we can do.)

Yes a lot of bi women imo in the areas where things like comphet are popular, seem to think there are camps of lesbians (often not just poli lez) who want to convert bisexuals and straight women into lesbians. One time I told a lady that literally no lesbian has such an agenda and if she did it would be fucked up and she called me a rape apologist out of no where. This wasn’t my only experience with that type, its a weird “lesbians are trying to erase bi women’s existence” when lesbians are frequently trying to tell bisexual women to not call themselves lesbians when they are bi, or telling other people that a woman who enjoys fucking men isn’t a lesbian but at least bi or straight. It’s... a weird internet phenomena where people forget bisexual people are oppressed in the real world by things that negatively affect homosexual people, and may also face some microagressions and bullying in any community, but ultimately online the worst thing to “happen to bi people” is people forget they’re bi while in a heterosexual marriage... I feel bad for bisexuals who still live in reality, I genuinely do, and I feel bad even for those who read things and get caught up and confused in the moment but realistically a google doc written by a 19 year old on tumblr probably shouldn’t have made their source cut to begin with...

I mean its basically a catch all now, synonymous with say fandom sometimes. Gender fandom is accurate, for example.

Graysexuals are people who unconvincingly live as asexuals who like to tell you under what circumstances they enjoy sex and masturbation once you’re cornered and haven’t asked in the first five minutes of meeting them.
