If they are attacked they know that 1) they could fight back, 2) at worst the stranger wants their values. To us, being robbed would be the best of worst outcomes.

Unfortunately when you're a woman you know you're not just a person, but something more (less?), a piece of meat. You wear shorts? Oh, so sexy. You wear a tank top? Oh, so sexy. Whereas you are only trying to fight the hot weather. You smile? Oh, she wants me.

Homini Sapiens Sapiens are those animals who have hands with thumbs. Not every newborn has thumbs or hands, is that sentence therefore false? Absolutely not! Some of them are born without them, but that's not standard. Most of people have hands, therefore it's normal for our species.

The funny thing is that if these people weren't pushing falsehood, they would be accepted at least from us.

Having a genital preference is perfectly fine. Refusing to date someone just because they are trans alone is not, imo.

I never understood this logic, it's basically the same thing. If I have a "genital preference" I'm automatically excluding trans people from my dating pool.

I tried to explain to her that both components are analogous. A penis and a vagina are not that different. They have the same tissue. It's the configuration that makes us dysphoric.

At this point why don't say that you're a potato too since humans share over 90% of DNA. It's all in the configuration lol.

Hmm, I think you're right.

Because 'chasers' are interested in them for being trans, not for being women,

Well, who else would be attracted to them otherwise? What do they expect? LOL

Casually my boyfriend is one of those people who like trans women (too) for their "transness". When I told him his taste would actually be frowned upon by the trans community itself, he was surprised.

But that's reality: we are attracted to people because of their bodies too. I for example like women for their "womaness" and men for their "maleness". So called chasers are no different.

which is invalidating of their delusions.

I'm pretty sure that's the key.

Exactly this!!!!

It has the same logic as religions: believe in these statements or you'll be shunned by the community.

Too bad those statements don't hold any true logic, and when you ACTUALLY go read what the evil terfs say, you see they've been lying to you in order to be right.

Why do you think those subs discouraged people to go check what GC said? Because they KNEW it would be convincing!

When a nazi says stupid things in a sub, anyone can see how silly their view is and you don't need to censor them, because their stupidity speak for themselves. Bonus points if someone engages with them and explain why their view is fake.

With us, they needed to remove our comments.

This is what happens when you redefine bisexuality. "Two or more genders" means that you can like girls and tomboys and still be bi.

Did I misinterpret your comment? I though you were saying that we should just let them claim to be lesbians.

Yes and no. I was talking about what "respect someone" means. TRAs think that if you don't believe what someone's says, you're not respecting them; whereas I say that respect is about human dignity and not mistreating people for their beliefs.

So, can they say that a man can be lesbian? Sure they can. People can claim all sort of things, otherwise we wouldn't have antivaxxers and flat-earthers. But do I have to believe them? Nope. And am I disrespecting them because of it? Fucking no.

I hope it's clear now.

[–]LasagnaRossa 16 insightful - 1 fun16 insightful - 0 fun17 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It is obvious that they are changing meanings, because the bi in bisexual has always meant "the two sexes". Proof:

1) Before all this TRA non sense people recognized only two sexes. Gender is the polite form for the same word.

2) Straight means "attracted to the opposite sex". OPPOSITE, not any other one which isn't yours.

So bisexual has always implied that you're both things, "straight" and "gay", you like the opposite sex and your own. TWO sexes.

Pansexual label was invented when modern medicine was able to successfully make up people in the opposite sex. Since it's not that obvious to like someone with mixed up parts, they invented the label pan, which means "all", in this case you like any combination of appearance.

Screaming that this origin is transphobic won't change our sexualities.

Not Norwegian but my country (Italy) is currently discussing this same bill. It will become illegal to discriminate or hit someone for sexual orientation and gender alone. In fact the sentence will be harsher if it is proven you hate the victim's category.

Our bill keeps the freedom to have an opinion and it looks like so does the Norwegian one.
