I always wondered how drag queens got away with basically doing "woman face" or "pink face" I guess. Oh wait, they are dudes so it's ok.

Because "woman face" isn't really a thing, Greykittymomma. Let me explain my position: Baby girls don't come out of the womb with full glam makeup, glittery gowns, high heels, acrylic nails, dramatic hairdos, or even breast. The vast majority of female roles in all media (video games, cartoons, film, live-action television) are played by actual women. Feminine GNC guys (gay, straight, or bi) are seen as unnatural, annoying (by both straights and gays), sometimes "trashy/ghetto", and undesirable where as feminine women are seen as attractive and normal in society. And there are also no widespread reports of gay men dressed up like Kylie Jenner/Ariana Grande/MeganTheeStalion while beating, lynching, and burning women because a woman made a pass at them or whatever. Where as blackface actually does mock black people's natural born features (dark skin, thick lips, kinky textured hair, etc.) by exaggerating them in a clownish way. Blackface performances were going on for more than a hundred years, during times when black people toiled away as slaves in fields, during times when they weren't even allowed to portray themselves on film, and during times when teenage black boys got beaten to death for being falsely accused of whistling at white women. Blackface represents a big old pile of horribleness where as fem GNC gay/bi men doing drag represents a marginalized group of people celebrating their female influences (something that boys are taught not to have) and their own gay femininity while also bringing unity to their community through the joy of their performances n' whatnot. Not being into drag queens or their culture is totally fine, but "woman face" stuff just sounds kind of silly when you take all of the above into account.

Right?

Yo, I'm black, and I think that that "white gayz™ bad, amIright?" stuff that goes on in the alphabet community is absolutely exhausting and straight up bigoted. And lets not even get started on them being so creepily focused on race that they think a fuckin' rainbow isn't sufficient enough to represent gay/bi people of all colors...

For real. They talk mad shit about us and make it very clear that they consider it an insult to be compared to us but then turn around and go "b-b-but the lgbtblt5000 community is so much stronger when WE stick together, why would you want to split up the community?? UwU"

Right?

It's honestly sad that these people weren't "ratioed" for this homophobic junk. I'm honestly so glad I don't have a twitter. I don't understand how any LGB person can use the site with bullshit like this getting 60k+ likes...

Lol, here’s the thing, they’ve been trying to do that all throughout the 2010s but it hasn’t worked at all because young straight women (white, black, and brown), lots of gay/bi folks, and even a lot of other trans people out there actually enjoy drag queens and their culture. They’re absolutely outnumbered, so all these bitter Twitter tranzes can really do now is try to act like they created drag and smugly lecture gay men/queens about how they’re “guest” in a form of expression that same-sex attracted men have been participating in and pioneering since antiquity. They’re nuts!

Definitely, but I’m pretty sure that they’d assert that all the gay male crossdressers/proto-drag queens in Molly Houses were just misidentified trans women or something.

They pretty much do that with any and all GNC men and women in history.

It’s almost impressive, ain’t it, sis? lol

Every day they get more and more bonkers, and it doesn’t help that they spend so much of their time in these rabid Twitter echo chambers.

They absolutely do. They bitch and moan about how they’re not just feminine gay men in dresses yet throw tantrums at the fact that RuPaul doesn’t want to cast them on his show about which feminine gay/bi man is the most glamorous and entertaining crossdresser. They are literal living bundles of contradictions.

Lol, sis, I think I might have reached the peak with this one. My willingness to play along has dropped by -1000%.

It really does go waaay farther back than that particular person. AFAIK men were crossdressing in Ancient Greek theatre, and I’m about 99% sure that a few of them were fruits lol. But it’s just funny to see how dogmatically they’ll dismiss any concrete evidence that goes against their “black trans women created your history and culture, you owe us” narrative. You have a gay black male ex-slave/early gay rights advocate basically calling himself a drag queen and they go “d-doesn’t matter, black trans women invented drag queens, end of discussion”. It’s no wonder phrases like “facts don’t care about your feelings” make them so mad.

Ah...and of course, this pungent bullshit is coming to us from a fujoshi "non-binary lesbian" who so desperately wants to be seen as a true and honest™ drag queen and not a "bio queen" (because you know, conventionally feminine biological women wearing makeup, dresses, and heels is apparently drag now...) yet trashes and bashes gay/bi men on her twitter feed every chance she gets.

I'm sorry, but this chick needs to go shove a wig up her own pussy or somethin' and leave gay men be. Worry about yourself, boo boo.

Plenty of pretty/fishy drag queens and feminine gay men that look like James Charles get play. Despite the “no fems” stuff (not judging btw) there are lots of gay, bi, and curious men out there looking for beautiful GNC boys. Alok and his crew get passed over because they look straight busted. They look like IRL versions of One Piece’s “Okama”
