The video is good, but unfortunately it completely leaves out the huge problem of Northern Ireland.

The problem there is, that any hard border will spike riots, bombings, etc. like in the eighties.

So what do you aim to achieve by archiving them?

I get reddit and saidit if it's some kind of post with longer lasting value, but the news sites become irrelevant after you've read the article, don't they? Or am I missing something?

No, I don't. But I think it's a good concept if it makes sense to archive the sites you visit. What are your favourite webpages? For me this would mainly be reddit, saidit, youtube, some news sites and the occasional streaming host. But on none of those it makes sense in my opinion to archive them.

So I p layed around a bit and it seems to be a cosmetic filter applied by ublock origin. Here is a screenshot of the DOM inspector of ublocks logger.

I couldn't find out (or don't know how to read the screenshot XD) how the cosmetic filtering works exactly, but maybe this helps.

Actually, for some reason, my adblocker (uBlock origin) hides the unsubscribe buttons. Maybe this helps. Or did I get you wrong?

Exactly this! We have to find a way to get more people here.

What do you think about reposting stuff from reddit here, so people have a space where they can discuss stuff without fear of being banned?

I'm not talking about the illegal stuff, but the topics where the redditmods delete posts because it doesnt fit their opinion.
