Thank god this RN is here to show her superior understanding of science to the experts whose lives revolve around understanding viruses, masks, and pandemics.

If you're reading this, don't listen to this nurse. A mask helps prevent the spread of the disease, and you're not supposed to wear it for your own sake, you're supposed to wear it because there are people who are immuno-compromised or show stronger symptoms to the virus.

You're also not breathing in your own CO2 because the mask is not air-tight, unlike a paper bag. The mask does make it slightly harder to breathe because the air has to press itself through the mask to get to you, but unless you're doing an extensive workout you'll be fine.

Preventative measures such as masks and social distancing aren't. About. You., they're about the people who are effected by the virus.

I made a post about how I got suspended from Reddit for 3 days just for downvoting one of Gallowboob's comments. Thankfully, that post led me to this site, so that's the silver lining. I'm happy to see he's leaving, but from what he said, he clearly doesn't understand why he's a problem.
