"The science remains unsettled."
There have been heaps and heaps of essays and books written to debate the question "Is there a God?" Unless you've done a lot of reading, anything you have to add to the conversation is probably not new and does not take into account all rebuttals. Does that mean no one has the right to decide whether or not there is a God unless they've read 1000 books? I would say no. The same applies for debates over Many Worlds Theory or any other number of questions.

Well, there are some studies that show that parts of a trans person's brain are sort of similar to their preferred sex. But I'm (somewhat) skeptical of those studies. Even if they show what they purport to show, which they might not, I think there are nuances that are worth exploring.
Also this is a great essay that is worth reading:

If you're wondering why I'm not sharing the kiwifarm link or her name, it's not just because this woman might be innocent. It's also because I don't really believe in online shaming campaigns punishing people in ways that be the responsibility of the legal system*. Sometimes it might be necessary for an online campaign against someone to exist in order for the legal system to take interest in said person. Her University has supposedly already been informed of the accusations and has added them to the University's investigation. Presumably the trial of Chris Chan will deal with these accusations as well.
*Although of course if someone commits a horrific crime like murder and gets off with a light sentence, it is tempting to raise awareness about this person if they own businesses that can be boycotted. But that's a separate issue.

Having "the talk" with your kids by teacherterf in GenderCritical
A chemist is someone who understands the rules and behaviors of matter on a deep level, not just how individual chemicals react with each other.
Likewise, the only way to truly protect your children from foolishness is to teach them to be wise in a general sense, not just individual examples of wise beliefs.
But aside from that, I would convince a child of something in pretty much the same way that I would convince an adult of something. With reasonable, fair points. Is there someone who you know to be reasonable/not gullible/open-minded/able to think clearly about politically touchy topics? Imagine what you would say to them to convince them.
I often see people who weight arguments as strong that I don't think are that strong. With that in mind, I advise you to be self-critical and really think hard about whether your argumentation is well-formed. Don't just speak off the top of your head.
There are a lot of guidelines for how to think and communicate clearly and effectively, I can't really list them all here.

A law that is unjust to enforce completely is an unjust law. People complaining about the law being enforced selectively aren't the problem in my opinion. Either get rid of the law or enforce it evenly, but no honest person should desire to live in a country where the laws on paper are not the actual laws as practiced.
Edit: I understand this might seem like I'm caring about something abstract when there's a much more straightforward problem at hand, but the health of the legal system is very important and sometimes victim to subtle maladies.

But it's not a euphemism, it's a subcategory. I guess it does have sort of a euphemistic effect if people don't believe sex surrogates are prostitutes but they are, but... I still feel my point stands. If you get rid of the term "sex surrogates", then you now lack a term to distinguish the subcategory from the broader whole.
From my perspective it feels like you're manipulating the language by claiming that two words with different definitions are actually identical. I'm not saying you should have a different moral opinion of the two things, but they do have different definitions, objectively.
It's not incorrect to call these women sex surrogates, because they are sex surrogates. Sex surrogate being a subcategory of prostitute. You might not recognize it is a meaningful subcategory, but you didn't say that.

You're predicting a situation where a big, (extremely) powerful, mainstream political movement (in this case Social Justice Progressivism) admits that it is wrong about something. Before making a prediction, we should think hard about what this might look like.
Will it be relatively sudden, or relatively gradual? What is the breaking point for something like this? What historical examples can we look to?
The first historical example of a bunch of people changing their mind about politics that leaps out at me is a significant portion of European and American Socialist Leftists going from pro-USSR to anti-USSR after the Hungarian Revolution was violently suppressed by the Soviet government in 1956. There were many signs before this that the USSR was not a good country to idolize, and maybe a few leftists gave up their pro-soviet stance before 1956, but that was the turning point. I think that the prospects for the progressive left having some sort of political awakening about the threat (to biowomen prisoners, to children who are likely to regret dubious medical intervention, and to adults who also regret dubious medical intervention more often than people realize) is less good than the prospects for the socialist left having a political awakening about the Soviet Union were before the Hungarian Revolution.
A revolution in Eastern Europe is harder to ignore than prisoners being raped or the suffering of detrans children or adults. The New York Times has to report on a revolution, they don’t have to report on the latter two. They certainly didn’t say anything when Jamie Shupe went detrans. There would have to be a truly sensational detrans incident to force the New York Times to report on it, and even then they might be able to bury it on page eight. Even a celebrity’s name attached to the story might not be enough to get coverage. If, god forbid, a famous female prisoner was raped by a TiM then that would make the news, but how many famous female current prisoners can you name?
I think 2030 is very optimistic, barring some sort of black swan event. That’s the date at which I would expect to see some GC victories in the realm of women’s sports, but little more than that.
Everything I just said goes for the US, I’m not making any predictions about the UK.

"I don't even want to masturbate because all the things that turn me on are also triggers"
This is a difficult and mysterious problem to treat. I think a lot of therapists would just generate some sort of BS solution according to the rules of whatever is most politically correct for them to say, not necessarily what would work best. Even a therapist who is willing to be guided by something other than political expediency in their treatment might still have their healer/scientist's investigation sabotaged by their own unwillingness to be un-pc. There are probably therapists who have the right mindset to treat this problem. I don't know if those people are rare or not, but I wish you the best. A good source of help (possibly a therapist) will help you, but first you need to take it on yourself to get good at finding that good source of help, like a treasure hunter.
My actual advice:
I'm not an expert, but mindfulness has helped me with some things. Just becoming aware of negative and positive thoughts, and reacting to those thoughts with detached and placid understanding. Still having the strong emotions, but also having a neutral observer in my head that says "I'm feeling very strongly about this right now."

I'm also not crazy about people who wear gimp suits or whatever weird or explicit or weirdly explicit outfit in public. They have the right to do so, certainly, but they are violating the preferences of others. It's tough to say whether the satisfaction they get from doing so is outweighed by the discomfort of others. I don't know, it's a tricky issue. I guess I can see both sides of it.
With drawing a picture of Muhammad, people just do that because they're angry at Muslims for killing people who do it. But it's not like the people who draw Muhammad are spray-painting their drawings on the street where lots of bad and good Muslims will see it. To the extent that people actually go out of their way to place their drawings of Muhammad where people who don't want to see it will see it... that's bad. And the same applies to sexuality.
Although I'm not as anti-sex-in-advertising as a lot of other people here, I think.

Speaking broadly, I'd say that being friends with someone with opposing beliefs isn't just not bad, but it's actually good. There's a lot of reasons why I think it's good, but one that I hope everyone can get behind is that such friendships are one thing that makes it possible for one or both of the friendship dyad to grow as a person.
