" It is reported that Bill Clinton took the first flight on Muhssef’s plane to the island after purchase.

Clinton promised that nothing illicit is going on there, even if it had in the past.

“This is a completely new ownership, so there’s nothing like the all that kinky gratuitous sex with underage blonde girls like Lindsay or . . . Mackenzie or Leighanne. None of that,” Clinton said.

Locals say Epstein was flying in underage girls long after his conviction for sex crimes—and authorities did nothing to stop him. “It was like he was flaunting it,” says an employee at the airstrip on St. Thomas. “But it was said that he always tipped really well, so everyone overlooked it.” "

But I love a good based-on-a-true-story drama with an activist underdog wins, kinda story (even if sloppy).

Fewer people committed suicide in Japan last year than in any other year on record by Nemacolin in news

[–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Old people, and in Korea, I think too. Don't want to be family burdens.

I would wager that a bunch of those younger suicides were largely seeded by external forces.

I've been suicidal twice in my life. As a teen I knew there was no future without education, or so they always said. I was afraid I'd have to work for a shitty life without an education. My home life was intolerable. I just wanted to be me and do my own artistic things. I wasn't a "bad" kid or a freak (yet), but I was different (yet still popular in highschool). My parents weren't having it. So I tried once. I moved out at 16 then again at 17 having learned about services to help kids like me. I was accepted at Sheridan College for animation before I was legally old enough, so I was free I guess. Meanwhile, my parents spent a fortune sending my next brother (I was the oldest, the icebreaker, and got most of the shit), to a private school in Quebec with the likes of Conrad Black's son. Unlike me, he was an actual bad apple, though not the worst or rotten, and after that he became a stereotypical frat bro then taught at schools around the world and has been principle at private schools around the USA for couple decades now, climbing the ladder of opportunity and being a dick.

But I digress. (I have issues with my Brother and Dad, a pill pushing doctor.) In 2008 after my girlfriend ironed out her issues with some happy pills I got a prescription. There was an economic meltdown happening, I was directing animation at a studio in Vancouver and commuting to Victoria on weekends - and I had shot a $30k film in Oakland that I hadn't finished (to this day). Putting my blind faith in Big Pharma scientism was the worst thing I ever did and those "anti"-depressants utterly tortured and destroyed me slowly over half a decade, with more than half a decade crawling out less-than and broken. There are worse things than dying and that is suffering past what it tolerable with no end in sight. I knew it could be worse if I fucked up and survived. I couldn't think clearly, much less research, or anything much other than watch MSM, and I had no idea about how to properly kill oneself. Since then I learned, just in case. Back then I tried several times and managed to safely fuck it up - obviously.

IMO, suicide should not be frowned upon nearly as much as it is. Most people simply have no fucking clue what it's like to be dragged to the line - and even over it. And the medical industry is half a joke, pretending like they've solved it all meanwhile still have barbaric practices, prison-like psycho-wards, and a bent business model to extend life at any cost rather than improve the quality of life.

Sideshow Bob who? There has been this boy, following me around, paying me lots of attention. He's filled up my messages with sweet nothings. I still haven't responded to them all yet. Sweet nothings, like, really, nothing, like, as if someone with nothing in their head couldn't come up with anything and wrote nothing down. And then in class he dips my hair in the inkwell and sometimes calls me names - but I know he likes me because he follows me around. You wanna know a secret? I'm not gay. But sometimes I put on this little voice and let him think I am and that he's even got a chance. Everyone likes to flirt and get attention and feel needed and important. So I amuse him and I amuse myself until we're spent and exhausted, our heaving bodies collapsed over our keyboards...

1) They ran out of depressed people.

2) They stopped taking "anti"-depressants.

3) Darwin evolved and now it's survival of the happiest (or not chronically depressed).

4) They found optimism when hearing about the decline of the American Empire.

5) Everyone got a new sexbot.

It seems to me the problem was the stereotyping. Initially from a 1 dimensional cliché he evolved into a still problematic 2D character, though they added a family, etc. It actually seems like an easy fix to keep adding more authentic details to flesh his character out further. We know Ned lives next door - but who lives on the other side, behind them, across the street? Maybe Abu could move nearby, share some hobbies and interests that weren't just tropes.

It wouldn't be impossible to resurrect the Simpsons with fresh ideas and good writers and maybe some structural experts and script doctors. It would be far easier to refurbish The Simpsons than to try to develop a new hit series ground up. While it's been a long slow slide (I can't remember the last time I saw one) it's got solid foundations and a sturdy frame.

Sadly, Disney now owns Fox, and we've seen what they do to strong franchises. I suspect they'll milk it until it's dead, and maybe even after.

No need to apologize at all!

In my opinion brainstorming is terrific and valuable towards progress, even bad/ugly ideas help because they may be a temporary marker on a previously undeclared issue, important, critical, or just mild, that needs an even better idea and can sometimes be built upon, and/or with a tweak and a twist, turned into a great idea.

Your example just happened to be fresh in mind and easy to find, as well as a couple others I was too lazy to dig back up. Better still was that you had so many, not all good or bad or ugly - a very nice variety. Not just ugly. Far from it.

Like you, I'm not trying to mess it up either. I don't know what his problem with me is and he doesn't want to explain.

M7 is driving this big old bus and all us kids are going, "Arewethereyet? Arewethereyet? Arewethereyet? Arewethereyet? Arewethereyet?" Or maybe better, we're all going, "How about here? Have you been there? What about over there? And back there!" And he's still free to steer as he sees fit. Yet for some reason was isolating me out, insisting I not say anything on a public forum called "SaidIt", not-ironically.

I hold nothing against you, regardless what transpires, and I hope you don't mind that I used your comment as a handy example that had nothing to do with the quality nor content of your ideas. I can remove the reference link if you prefer. It was about him singling me out without clear explanation.

IMO, brainstorming is a valuable resource not all professions have the luxury of. I've worked as an animator, art director, and director on countless TV commercials, music videos, projects, and even an Oscar winning movie. It's not easy being an animation director, and harder IMO to be a live-action director under compressed time limits. The best manage to balance all the variables among strengths and weaknesses, absorb feedback, delegate tasks, define a clear vision, while maintaining a diverse team spirit to produce something amazing. I can only guess that running a forum is akin to that on some levels and even more intense on others.

Worse further, is that it applies to all media. People don't give their 100% attention to movies anymore, where one there was a time.

Granted there's no shortage of reasons why Hollywood isn't producing excellent riveting content, but mass media is now portable and often just on the side while multitasking.

One the plus side, for the most part, the quality content tends to rise and be noticed, though often not as much as it could without distracting competing corporate noise.

Months and months ago, (like 6 to 15, I don't recall when) I shared some (similar) images of trees growing from dead rotting stumps and rotted out trees leaving a vine lattice standing like a ghost of a tree - as analogous to a new nimble alternative system replacing the old, organically rather than competitively or violently.

Eventually, after I finish my epic /s/BittersweetSeeds story, it should be clear, ideally, that the theme and message of Corbett's video will be core to my project - about the struggle of growing a new system from within the old.

I really liked his video but I don't really see why he's presenting it as some kind of new epiphany or fresh perspective. This is not new to my story either.

Early on, before I had many of the core elements nailed down I was still throwing around a lot of ideas. One of those ideas was to be "progressive" with a female protagonist. I didn't care about virtue signaling. Before 2013, I wanted a female to be a contrarian, different than the majority with more unique creative options. I figured there'd be lots of new ground to explore, and as a woman there are plenty of "underdog" issues to riff off. But I simply couldn't make it work. Back then I was trying to develop the ultimate villain who might represent the corporatocracy. If it's a evil woman, there are "bitch" stereotypes to avoid, not to mention the majority of ruling class fields are dominated by men. While being creative and original I was also trying to reflect many realities of our corrupted world - so I felt woman executive was pushing beyond just "unique" like putting a hat on a hat. On the other hand, if the antagonist is a man, then it's a dude bullying a girl - and while that might help in some ways there's also the male patriarchy crap to deal with.

So, for a long time I was developing my protagonist to be part of a family without favouring toward the mother or father but gradually the father dominated and many other elements cemented into place before I ultimately realized there need not be a singular antagonist, like some typical action thriller. This epiphany that the entire system was the adversary (ie. as in Wall-E) was a breakthrough and relief, but it also raised more non-traditional narrative problems to overcome. I hope to delve into that elsewhere at another time. Meanwhile, I'll copypasta this comment into my Bittersweet Seeds project, where in addition to my story I'll be sharing my motives, developments, hurdles, and processes of writing it over the last 19 years.

I still have so much more work to do scraping it out of my head and into a cohesive and tight narrative, with character arcs, social commentary, cautionary concepts, futurist imaginings, science, architecture, aesthetics, a cinematic composition for each shot, with a sense of editing and pacing - all with a holistic director's vision. I was building it on this SaidIt wiki, but it has limits through no fault of it's own. So since New Years I'll be building and developing the content on InfoGalactic with a more powerful wiki tool set with media all in one place. But don't fret, I will occasionally update and mirror all my content there on WikiSpooks and here on SaidIt as things develop and I hope you might share your honest feedback when I do, no matter how long it takes me.

I don't recommend looking at it for a while, if you even care, as I've only barely started. Come back in two or three months to https://infogalactic.com/info/Bittersweet_Seeds

" You need to stop attacking other users. "

How about you stop them attacking me and other users? I never attack. I react, and positively with creativity. Go through my history and you'll find that to be accurate.

"_ You need to stop anything that even remotely resembles trolling._ "

You really need to clarify what that actually entails. This vague term with and even vaguer "remotely" added on top could mean virtually anything and be interpreted in any way you see fit - just like the vague nonsense terms of YouTube, etc. I'm not asking for more rules but you could start a list of prime examples and go from there. Yet you won't for some reason.

" And you need to stop acting as if you're some sort of admin. "

What does this even mean? HOW? I've never claimed to be any sort of admin, and I don't know "how I'm acting" as such, especially when you refuse to provide clear examples.

" Stop giving me and others advice about saidit when you clearly don't know what you're talking about. "

Why are others permitted, even welcomed, to offer good, bad, and ugly advice (example1, example2) while I am not? Why don't you just decline or ignore my suggestions?

I'm far from perfect like anyone, including you, so we all make mistakes. But I'd hardly say that I "clearly don't know what [I'm] talking about" when I clearly do on many things, including my opinions and experiences.

" And if in doubt, don't say anything. "

Is that a new slogan? "SaidIt: don't say anything." Q: What happened to civil discussion? A: It was sacrificed for intolerant trolls for unspoken reasons and I'd tell you about it but I can't say anything.

" This is what I'm asking of you. Not going to state it again. Act right. "

I want to abide, and I will continue to try, but you have not explained how I'm acting "wrong" or even remotely come close to any definition, for myself and for others. Thus the chaos continues, with or hopefully without me.

" You have 2 strikes. We are not revisiting this discussion again, I've said what needs to be said, and all that's left is to see you act appropriately and act with respect toward saidit and the users on saidit. I've given you so much leeway but I don't have infinite tolerance for this type of behavior. "

So you've said, though without sufficient clarity. It's your site, that is clear, and of course it's your prerogative. We may not revisit this discussion but it's far from resolved until I clearly understand you.

IMO, I've been respectful and challenge anyone to (waste their time trying to) find me this so-called abundance of examples where I haven't been.

" The way you act sometimes causes far more problems than it solves, and I think you know that. "

You may think that but it doesn't make it true. I've reached out to others to seek wider perspectives. Most who care don't see the problem and one said I was [unintentionally] swatting a hornets nest [when I was trying to help fix SaidIt].

" Now that that's clear, goodbye. No more discussion is needed. "

It remains far from clear and far from resolved, though I suppose we can agree that we disagree and no further discussion on that is warranted. Nonetheless, I remain open and welcome further discussion and clarity if you were to take the time to think about it, consult friends, or whatever to develop more concrete ideas for me and SaidIt to consider, about my activity or the greater Saidit policies and maybe some examples.

In the best way I can express it, my genuine advice is find council in d3rr and other neutral high-praise people that you greatly value their judgments on. Lean on them, review me, my words, and my actions, as with whatever other issues you may come across. Review in private or preferably in public. Maybe your are right, maybe not. Maybe it's not so simple. Lessen your burdens and delegate. Keep the final veto for yourself. Whatever problems you are having now are not going to diminish over time. All the small issues will also grow as the site grows - so in the future you will have faaaaar more problems, with any luck and success. Start to prepare and build your council and defenses wisely now. Ideally you've already started.

Whatever you do or decide, I honestly wish you and SaidIt the best, with or without me. I'd rather stay, resolve, and move past whatever this grudge you have is.

" Your lack of self awareness won't save you forever. "

What does that even mean?

I know what I am to the extent I am able. Yet you won't fill me in on the details of the "lacking" part, as if you even know the full extent what I am ultimately aware of. In large part I chose to be this way, otherwise I would behave differently. If I knew what your grievances were I'd be able to 1) learn about myself, 2) ignore what I already know, or 3) consider/try changing that which offends you, whether I knew about it or not.

I have little to go on other than you seem to vaguely despise my opinions, ideas, and self expression. Perhaps you think some of my constructive ideas about improving SaidIt administration via more open and democratic input are challenges to your leadership and authority. They are not. You still have ultimate veto power and are the decider of what ideas to adopt or not. I'm trying to help you, d3rr, and all of SaidIt.

Is that another threat? How is it saving me now? Is there a ticking clock I'm not aware of? Do I have cancer? Do you have plans for me? More dramatic ambiguity.

" I already told you many times over what the problem is. "

You have complained vaguely many times over, leaving me scratching my head every time. If you had clearly expressed what the problem is, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I want specific details, and not another arbitrary list full of lies and exaggerations. Or I want an apology. At the very least just drop it and save yourself - and SaidIt - from looking worse. You are much much better than this.

For someone who doesn't want to hear about my weird cuck fetishes, you sure do talk about them a lot. Are you living vicariously through my real life adventures and funderful sexcapades? Hawt.

Also, what does "(((rethink)))" mean? Is that related to or like (((the Jews)))? Or does that mean (((something else)))? Regardless, if you rethink something you might just learn something new upon a second review. Your loss if you don't.

What is problematic for one, might be a solution for another. What is unworthy to one saidditor, may be worthy to another.

Indeed, well stated. An open democratic constructive discussion could consider these ideas and more.

What should be avoided is privatizing the s/all for a few people. It is where voat messed up at-least.

Can you explain further? I don't understand nor know about the Voat scenario.

I'm just trying to help out even though its not my job and I'm giving out a worthless opinion lol.

LOL. IMO, we all need to help the 2 admins maintain this site-wide community. They have a monster burden already and barely cover expenses.

The FAQ and the rules are real, so ya, they are true. And if the 2 admins can't catch all the down-sliding then the community has to step in to help them. Otherwise the options are this: 1) SaidIt slides, 2) they recruit help, a likely burden financially, or 3) take on ads or sell out so they can afford the assistance they need. Seems fair that the community make an effort.

If you hate sexual deviance so much, why do folks like you post all the shit about trannies, cucks, incels, freaks, and deviants? I'd think you'd want to avoid it being waved in your faces. I suspect you love that rage porn.

I honestly appreciate the feedback. I've asked and you're the first to bother.

I won't deny that I posted this thing the other day, or that I happened to be one of the first to comment on the other one today. I feel strongly about the ideas, as I do about many things. I had no idea they would blow up, as most stuff simply goes ignored. Maybe that's a blind spot for me, determining what will be hot or not. If I had known a better way of presenting my ideas I would have applied that. I don't regret anything I said as it was all honest and authentic except for one inaccurate statement which has now been corrected.

I wasn't thinking of the subs as houses. I was thinking of SaidIt as a community and /s/All is the heart of our community. Not everything I've been sharing is critical, but some obviously is, and those weren't entered upon lightly. I'm also not one to graffiti a shitpost and split because I'm there to discuss why I'm making the effort.

Maybe I'm just a fool trying to stop Niagara Falls. Maybe I'm trying to do something where the admins won't. Maybe they have unexpressed reasons why they won't. Maybe SaidIt is for preaching activism and not being active. I think it's better than that.

Or maybe you mean that SaidIt is the house that I should dare not criticize, constructively or otherwise? If that is the case, I'd sure like to know it. I aim to be helpful. I try to communicate clearly. I suspect I fail far more than I can know, due to the curse of keyboards without facial expressions. I can't read minds, so I just don't know and won't know unless I get feedback.

I'm not afraid to get stung should I get entangled, but if the wasp is sentient, I expect legit explanations, especially if I was trying to help the nest, was civil about it, and no one was unjustly harmed in the process.

As always, I like your optimism. Sadly, I honestly don't feel free to play and haven't since the summer. I was hoping I could get past that. Turns out I was not the only one with unresolved issues, mysterious as they are.

How do you define slinging shit? Does name-calling count? Does being judgmental count?

I've never said I had a scat fetish. In all honesty, it's a huge turn off. Anal sex is a last desperate resort, just as fat chicks and dudes are, as are people who fart. However, farting and barfing is funny as hell - just as long as it's far from my nose.

I'm not a tranny. Though at a Burning Man wedding I was the only one in a wedding dress (among the half dozen times I wore a dress in fun). I've know many. Even had one in Montréal, named Kiki, hot as hell, more than most chicks.

My dick is just short of 8 inches, since you asked. I always hoped for the nice round number 8, to get a tattoo. A tattoo that says "7.75" doesn't carry the same weight. Give my your email and I'll send some pics.

There is no volume on SaidIt. Few feel the need to respond as prolifically as you do, so I suspect you like being my audience. As far as my inclination to openness goes, it hasn't changed since I've been on SaidIt, and I've been dynamic like this for decades. I've been lucky to have had a rich life.

Depends on your definition.

I prefer women. Most would call that straight.

I've "stooped" to settle for others, because I was horny and/or lonely. I'd say my ratio is at least 10 women to 1 dude - but really that depends on what you consider "sexual activity". I don't kiss dudes. If you simply consider intimacy, ie. kissing, then that ratio would likely be >30 to 1.

Kill someone and they are always a murderer. Some see homosexuality in a similar light. Fuck a dude once in a lifetime among thousands of women fuckings and you might still consider him gay.

What if you're sexually abused as a boy by a man? Does that make you homo-for-life too?

So what's your definition?

Hiding subs, IMO, is like sweeping problems under the rug.

One of these "problems" is being so popular their sub dominates /s/all.

Another "problem" is when a sub festers content not worthy of Saidit, and remains "hidden" away, out of sight, out of mind.

One problem with extremist or fake content is posting without context. I have posted fake news not to claim that's it's true, but to share and say, "Get a load or what they're saying now." In ambiguous cases I usually try to explain what's noteworthy.

The problem that is /s/ice_poseidon2 by HorrorShow in SaidIt

Your claims are unfounded. I demand extensive examples of these exhausting clean up instances to prove there's a pattern, or a retraction and apology.

Further, these are same unproven claims you made in the summer (in the one and only post in the formerly-locked /s/HolocaustSkepticism where without warning you explosively unleashed a list of many false and exaggerated claims upon me.)

I don't know what this "authority" you go on about now or then. I've NEVER claimed to be an authority on anything (aside from animation and some hobbies), much less on SaidIt. I have my experiences and opinions and I suppose I'm an authority over those, but little else. I try to use "IMO" often to clarify that it's just my opinion, as is the case with most of my statements.

" Months and months of this ", yet you say nothing to me. From the summer explosion until a month ago you did not comment on a single thing I said, even when I was cheerfully chiming in my 2 cents on your posts and comments. Allegedly, " it has caused me an awful lot of headaches over the last few months " - yet I heard nothing about this at all from you.

I still have no idea what I did to rub you the wrong way, other that try to be helpful to SaidIt, and be a dynamic interesting person who contributes to this community, honestly and authentically, warts and all.

You casually called Snow a liar not too long ago. I don't know all the expanded details but in that case there was no evidence of lying. It's not the first time.

Still, I won't call you a liar, but I don't make up lies either. You are profoundly inaccurate in trying to paint me with that brush. EVERYONE CAN READ IT. You're not helping yourself and you're not leading well by stooping to this level.

Many have said he hasn't reformed. And they've got a good point that caution should still apply and people should be warned regarding public figures. Reform needs to be earned and proven over time. Also, he "earned" his sorted past that he will have to carry the rest of his life. A reformed murderer is still a murderer. We all have our sins to deal with, and denying them helps no one.

They're also saying his followers are a DDoS problem. That's never cool (unless it's aimed at the corporatocracy).

As for the asstrolls in the sub, IMO axe them after their fair warnings.

As for their sub, IMO they seem okay.

As for this post, IMO it's a nice informative summary (with some gaps), and I think our community could use more like it. (Only when appropriate, not every day, or witch hunting, etc.)

A lot of people were directly invited here by magnora through other sites (myself from listening to him on a podcast) and feel tricked after spending some time on the site and seeing how he admins it.

I completely feel the same way. I came here from the Tin Foil Hat podcast with lots of conspirophilia and laughs. M7 explosively without warning threatened me in the summer for completely unfair, unclear, unsubstantiated and/or false reasons, and now I don't give much of a shit, whereas I was completely dedicated to SaidIt. I don't know what I did to irk him, and he hasn't explained it. Maybe he just doesn't want dynamic characters around. Maybe I legit did something. Maybe he's peacocking. Maybe he's stressed. I have no idea.

Is there any reason to believe such an action wouldn't be just a containment sub to keep people busy bitching in a single place that can be ignored?

Actually, that is in large part why I suggest it. Contain all the drama/sanitation work. BUT if it's ignored it will inevitably leak or maybe explode. IMO, it would be far easier to deal with all the drama in a tribunal of M7 + D3 + community opinion.

"More rules won't work" -Pretty much /u/magnora7

Maybe. Maybe not. If we don't discuss them we'll never know. Maybe we don't need rules. Maybe we need lots of examples, documented in a wiki, with links, to offenses, etc. A semi-permanent record of precedents to support the legitimacy of the Pyramid of Debate and the ever so few rules.

Unless he has changed his stance, a suggestion of a site governed by rules, evenly applied demands to behaviour and respectful debate is really shady.

Agreed. People keep using decorum as if there's an established definition - meanwhile there's certainly an abundance of decorum-free activity unpunished.

That's probably the only time I've seen magnora come up with a suggestion that is based on evenly applied rules and that makes me very weary of it.

Ya, I have my doubts too. He just told me I have two strikes. I don't remember a second one, and I certainly don't feel the summer one was even legitimately warranted. (Further, that sub with only one post was locked for months. That issue was swept under the rug and I got no day in court so to speak. It was his way or no way, in a "community".) And I think it's immature to be keeping strikes this long. I've been here for 14-15 months and apparently slipped twice in all that time, meaning the rest of my contributions are for shit, null and void, if I "slip" again, by his arbitrary discretion alone. Doesn't fill one with confidence in the leader, much less confidence for the future of this community of arbitrariness, ruled by a fear of becoming unpopular for enforcing site-wide rules.

But I'm not going to deny that the user revolt that's been going on for the last few weeks could have convinced him that people aren't naturally inclined to behave, and more rules than "be nice" is required

I totally missed that revolt. Do you mean the misguided efforts of Snow? I've seen waves of Reddit refugees and misbehavors come and go and/or acclimate. Is that what you mean?

Also, few people read the terms and rules of sites. Why bother when you can follow the abundance of examples? And what unenforced examples there are...

Cautiously optimistic.

Indeed.

Code and customization of existing software solutions are top notch. Administration is more shit than a turd in a septic tank.

LOL. I was trying to be nice and lumped them together. Ultimately, IMO, here's the problem... M7D3 are great guys, great truther wisdom, great skills, but not great leaders, yet could be. (Also, I am no leader and can admit it.) They have a fucking forum and don't even bother to ask for leadership assistance. WHAT? That would have been one of the first things I'd do!

IMO a wiki page would help your cause, whether it's on SaidIt, InfoGalactic, or Wikipedia. Lay it all out. When critics call point to the record.

I actually completely agree with bobbobbybob's statement.

However I don't agree with his negative tone and approach, and I completely agree with you that it's "conflict" from the start.

As far as his response goes, I never stoop there, not that it's even close to the worst I've seen.

Meanwhile this may have been an honest request, ignored with the countless others ignored daily. But we may never know as the user and content were [deleted] and they misposted in /s/whatever instead of /s/movies where they might have actually been answered in time.

The initial round of banning the shittiest users will be the worst. But if it's kept up, then that will surely change the character of SaidIt. If you ban the dynamic and interesting occasional offenders then you also risk neutering the character of SaidIt, possibly resulting in a bland site. However, if the worst are gone maybe the rest won't bother to stoop anymore.

IMO, it's worth the risk to the reputation to shape up or ship out. Ideally done with an announcement and maybe clean slates for everyone. (An announcement section in the top right side bar would be a perfect place to link such an announcement post.)

If there was a second site, then there's be no risk to reputation. Didn't know about the Reddit "Lounge" (not to be confused with the Chat Lounge).

These VIP subs could have many pros but I can think of too many cons to bother listing.

Another thing Enza, that you may or may not be aware of, is their efforts to decentralize SaidIt. Goldfish(sp) is working on it. If SaidIt were federated then many people could host their own, and join whatever instances they liked or were invited to. Beyond that maybe someone might figure out a way to host SaidIt instances for people who would want to cultivate their own communities, including cutting out those not wanted. This might develop into bubble culture for many, yet for many others they could still co-mingle, pick and chose who they hang with, view reputations and Venn diagrams, etc. Also, in this way the VIP could be selected, like Tilde does.

If I were you, I'd ask the community at large for solutions on issues in a dedicated public forum sub. You can embrace, discard, or mull over all their suggestions on how to govern better. More brains is better. Doesn't mean you loose your clear vision.

Initial topics could obviously be pyramid discipline, what defines decorum, what defines sliding, what defines shit-slinging/posting. Having solid examples will help clarify and sharpen the big grey line.

Maybe like stepping in the gutter or grey line might happen on occasion, those who dwell there can be asked to leave. Again, defining "dwelling" should be discussed too.

I like the elevated second SaidIt idea. A lot. Hopefully it would minimize memes and such. I wouldn't be tempted to engage or preach or sling, and would likely migrate most of my efforts there. But IMO, it would be starting with a couple disabilities unless 1) there were clearly defined rules 2) with a democratic forum to discuss the governing. That doesn't mean you'd lose your ultimate power veto, it just means things can be discussed with hopes for effective improvements and evolutions.

Also, IMO, the subs should be voted upon - for their naming conventions, topic-worthiness, classifications, etc. to avoid repeats, unwise decisions, spontaneous impulses, and infinite empty or rarely used subs - if those are things to avoid.

All this and more could/should be discussed in a next-level sub about the potential and development of a spin off. Your code and administration are great, but your community is your greatest asset and should be mined for their precious ideas that you can cultivate and steer.

Also, proof that I am neither:

I am an admin on InfoGalactic.com, a site owned by Vox Day, an alt-right leader.

I am also active in my local Green Party and mod of /s/GreenParty with plans to bring in my local folks onto SaidIt.

I am also co-mod of /s/altrightwebm, but admittedly just to add my CSS and a banner. (But my interest in investing in SaidIt with CSS, banners, wiki, etc. has waned a fuck-tonne since magnora7 threatened me, and continues to, while allowing authentic trolls to roam freely.)

I'm also an honorary member of CorbettReport.com, an anarchist/voluntarist.

I'm anti-establishment and against all the prescribed doctrines and politics in the world. I try use the tools above and more, in order to resist the corporatocracy.

It would be nice if the pyramid of debate applied universally. Every "downward" response I gave wasn't invented from nowhere.

Looking back it's extremely easy to say, "Oh, I should have stopped there and been the bigger person," to the many who felt they needed to pile on.

In the moment I'm just replying in kind, sometimes in defense, occasionally to challenge their stances, and often to try to help them rethink things if they're capable. I wasn't thinking about accumulating drama - which is never done alone. But I can make an effort to consider the grander scheme.

I didn't start antagonizing people. The opposite. I don't know what you mean by gross non-sequiturs.

As far as "creating drama", that's a broad concept. I was unbanned. Many folks learned more about the mod rules and other SaidIt norms. And a new policy is under consideration. Some good things have happened here. Drama happens. It's seeded, and sometimes nurtured, but not really created. I certainly don't do this every day, every week, or every month, so it's hardly a habit much less strategy. If I could predict it I could certainly try to stop it.

I do abide the pyramid. And I'll try to keep your points in mind.

They are alt-right. I'm neither, but label everyone not in their tribe as ultra-left. I was trying to bring it back to center. And failed evidently.

I've also often thought that it makes much more sense for the universe to be filled with much more dust, debris, asteroids, planets, giant planets, and brown stars than they claim between the vast distances of visible stars. Why wouldn't it? Thus the dark mass is not remotely as much of a mystery, and maybe dark energy is slightly less mysterious too.

I didn't know space dust had a life span before now. I guess that's part of their excuse. I wonder who came up with that, why, and how.

I simply hadn't considered just contacting you alone. It's that simple.

I'm still unjustly banned from /s/Incels after mentioning it MANY times, to no avail. Further, you're simply not approachable. I've asked you many things and been ignored or been unsatisfactorily responded to. I'm totally okay with that, as I know you have a tremendous amount on your plate with mammoth responsibilities and better things to do. But it's not all about you or me, and that's also why I opened it up for community discussion and awareness. Sure, yours is the ultimate opinion on this site, but others have valuable insights too, and where you might be absent (and I can't read minds), maybe others might be able to weigh in and fill me in on things I may not have considered, especially when occasionally playing around and pushing a few buttons in a seemingly unbridled sea of name calling and shit posting (which you'll have a hard time finding from me).

Getting constructive criticism rarely comes without the excessive drama, something you'd think I'd have learned by now. That's why my intentions and actions aren't perfectly aligned on target.

If I'm banned from anywhere else I'd like to know about it, not because I plan to post there, but for the principle of freedom against unjust bans. Maybe I might even deserve it on a sub one day, and I can handle that, if I were to break their stated rules.

It's this principle that made me think it was worth posting and sharing. And you even came up with an interesting new policy (potentially) that IMO might help SaidIt tremendously. That didn't come from nowhere.

As far as all this attention goes, it was not my goal for it to explode. I expected this to be ignored as much as the dozens of far more important or entertaining things I've posted with more effort put into them. Had they been noticed, perhaps I wouldn't have employed all the click-baitery (ie. the squirrel).

I am guilty of this: I am naive and foolish to not realize by now that people, including SaidIt, will glom on to the most salacious and controversial tidbit and steer it into the side of a mountain of crap to mud-wrestle until distracted by the next feeding frenzy.

Why would humans slide backwards? Perhaps you mean like Idiocracy, evolving forward but downward?

The singularity is biotech (DNA, etc), nanotech, and cybertech, so the fusion will likely include designed synthetic cellular life, as you infer.

Are you suggesting a new kind of Malthusianism? Have you heard of this before? Does it have a name?

Or, an in-sourcing and migration?

Like the Watchmen's blue man - a transtemporal being.

"Vessels in the sky" is akin to something in Revelations, not knowing a word for airplane. I don't know that I buy that. People dreamed of going to the moon long before it allegedly happened.

" But humans, in all our hubris, can't seem to conceive that we don't deliberately build the thing that surpasses us. "

I don't buy that. A lot of sci-fi already deals with that. The rest of that paragraph I'm confused by.

The "greater AI", indeed. Few understand the hive mind and the Internet Of Things, much less the ramifications of the full spectrum dominance of the matrix of rigged systems being controlled by the corporatocracy. I can't speak to 5D entities or the G.O.D.

I'd say we're nearing the elbow, if not already there, on the hockey stick of death. Whether the ruling class starts directly or indirectly killing masses of people via whatever means, we're almost all pets of the state to some degree. Some of the pets still work and some are on welfare. And soon most of us will be labelled "useless eaters" instead of pets.

I was/am in the right.

But you are correct, it doesn't behoove me to gloat or respond to idiocy, so I will stop responding to most of them. For the record, I didn't intend to stir drama. I commented, and they reciprocated, and before you know it there's a cyclical whirlwind of tit for tats. (Meanwhile no one gets censored for name calling. Meh.)

2 strikes? Where is the second one from? And I still think the summer threat was very unfair. I'm far from the only one who thinks so. I'm willing to have a public review and discord about it all, now that it's been unblocked, but I don't think either of us really wants that. I guess my hopes of a long anticipated apology just evaporated.

I'm an admin on InfoGalactic.com, and mod of /s/InfoGalactic - the Vox Day owned site, author of "SJWs Always Lie", and a notable Alt-Right figure/"leader".

If you look at my posts and comments you'll realize I'm hardly an SJW, nor am I Alt-Right. I'm more of a anti-authoritarian progressive centrist of the Anarcho-Marxist and Libertarian ilk. I suspect that is also the core audience of SaidIt, folks who aren't dogmatically attached to tribes.

This website is a bastion of anti-extremism.

There are several other sites for the alt-right. Voat, Poal, Phuks, Opie&Anthony, etc. And then of course, Vox Day has SocialGalactic and Unauthorized.TV in addition to InfoGalactic, among others in a sea of options.

I never said I liked to fuck goats. And everyone knows punk chicks are the best in bed. I said absolutely nothing about Nazis or strawmen. Now you're just making shit up.

I can't suck myself off anymore, and it was not comfortable when I could.

I'm not a faggot, though you might think so because I was bi-curious for a while. The vast number of women I had kind makes that smaller number of men moot though.

I never "reeeeeeee'd".

I was never "called out".

I was banned unjustly, and I was reinstated by the law of the land.
