First, I've done nothing wrong so there's nothing about power, much less abuse there. I make the baseball cards at the top. I consider the subs as subjects/topics not communities, divisive cliques, teams, or tribes and prefer to think of SaidIt as a whole. I'm not saying you should, but you could consider driving that way. Maybe there's good Reddit reasons why not. Or maybe Reddit is enough reason to try to be different. Maybe SaidIt at large might come up with something better.

I can't remember if I expressed my sub-cleanup-revamp concept to you before my power went out. If you like I could redraft it and pitch the radical revamp to the populace in /s/IdeasForSaidIt to see how they feel about organizing. I could even draft it in a wiki for your feedback and approval to avoid my clumbsiness. You might like it or hate it or meh it.

Not a good look to Redditors who don't know any better. YOU can foster a different culture than Reddit if you take charge on some things and make that culture better - more than just a pyramid. Or just be compared in all things.

Second, I didn't create all of them. I was just invited to 5 more. If you want I will un-mod myself and ask all those guys to re-mod me when I have a finished CSS and a finished pile of banners ready - only to eject right after. I can also eject from all the ones with d3rr. And you can accept several of the invitations, nearly if not all of them, and take them off my shoulders. I can ask for them back for a bit to apply my banners and CSS.

Or if it suits you, I can make a proxy the mod of them, though with my design folks will know. It can be a user of yours or I have that batch or someone can make a new one.

There are still good subs to be made. It would be nice to have a banner for every sub out there that wants one, but I don't want to do all of them (or I would have posted it), but thought it nice for the ones I had, then had access to, and now I'm backlogged, on pause, until my monitor is fixed. I don't need to mod them. I don't even need to make them. But I will want some new topics to post in. I could ask you or d3rr once a week, alternating. d3rr has lots of countries so a few more like Brazil, Russia, and SaudiArabia won't seem out of place. And I could ask you to make Illuminati, Singularity, Borders (I have significant sidebar notes for these), - or good stuff like GreenParty, Solutions, VintageRetroTech, and WorkerCoops. And I'll make Animation, CGI_VFX, Screenwriting, and VintagePinUps when you let me out of detention.

We've discussed creating a supplementary mediawiki for SaidIt users where they can create articles, do projects, etc - as well as share media. It would be a separate site unless there's a way to crossover users somehow. There are also complications monitoring the media to secure it from infiltration, abuse, and corruption.

[–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

So I added a bunch of rules that you can edit down as you see fit. If you don't I will eventually as it's wordy and excessive, but better to start safer than sorry. As far as the banner goes I'll have to think on it. Something simple, low key, and classy - not sensational. Feel free to suggest anything that comes to mind.

Also there were no rules posted explaining what the fucking sub is there for.

There is no /s/SaidItConflicts and that is truly lame.

Like you're reading my mind.

In my dreams I picture FANG failing under it's own gluttony - as well as the emergence of a distributed web. Just as everyone has appliances, water heater, furnace, etc. they should also have a plug-and-play minifridge-sized to a collection of servers in their basements, attics, garages, etc. in as many homes as can invest (and eventually earn from it) to take back centralized power.

I was writing the greatest and best comment ever. You'll just have to believe me.

I also take it all seriously.

Seriously.

Even though I just linked some comedy doesn't mean I'm not serious about my goals here. I'd previously stated I thought jokes were fine but since I see those rules /u/Jesus posted, I see those rules as being perfect, easier to mod, and avoids the slippery slope - and it should exceed the standards of SaidIt, and maybe even improving it if we were to consider discussing and applying some of them to other subs.

/s/AlternativeHistory is often used synonymously with Historical Revisionism, though the later often has negative connotations pushed by the mainstream.

Once you start looking you'll often find a LOT of parallels with 9/11.

It's a very deep and disturbing rabbit hole with countless tributaries across many many generations often needing far reaching historical context.

I really don't know why you guys are dividing it into left-right.

I see it as a true vs propaganda issue.

There is some truth to Climate Change just as elements of the Holocaust are true.

These two examples happen to be rejected by many on the right.

I am a anarcho-center-lefty but I won't buy into them for that reason.

I also won't buy into the idea that Socialism or gun regulation is evil.

I'm not on board for killing the /s/HolocaustSkepticism sub, ever.

To be clear, I'm not going to pile junk into /s/HolocaustSkepticism. I currently have only 4 things in a standby folder for its eventuality.

I'll also be very happy of it's existence to be more precise about it's topical content - rather than posting in the vague /s/AlternativeHistory, /s/History, /s/Israel, /s/Jews, /s/Judaism, /s/USIsrael, etc. or even /s/TheHolocaust which may or may not be for the "official" narrative.

I don't seek the topic out but I don't shy away either.

Also, I'm not about building subsaidit communities. I'd rather SaidIt be a whole community that divided cliques.

I appreciate your motives. I did the same with /s/WatchPeopleDie. I was hoping we'd be able to apply warnings site wide like the banner I designed for it - or maybe cautionary CSS. I handed that sub over and have had no interest in looking at any of it. I've only commented in the intro post. Here's my big folly of it all - I thought I was doing something to change Reddit culture for SaidIt. Turns out no one on SaidIt gave a shit about big warning signs for NSFW content. They were accustomed to the Reddit way (of which I knew little).

I have no intentions of making any claims about the Holocaust. I wasn't there. Neither were any of us. I only have intentions of posting content from external sources and commenting on them and on the nature of propaganda, lies, and our manufactured culture of exploitation and war for flimsy lame reasons.

Also, I will point out that history is written by the victors (vae victis) and will demonize the enemy and ignore their own war crime atrocities (Dresden Firestorm) and note the absurd claims that Germany was trying to take over the world. It's as absurd as saying Iran is a threat.

To be clear, just because Hitler was the underdog and scapegoat doesn't mean I would follow him any more than any other world leader. They're all scum.

Draft up a The Rockefellers, An American Dynasty post for /s/books requesting free/share/available versions online, and maybe ask for a review or whatev, as well as your personal reasons for wanting it, or at least what you care to share. [–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

You're invited.

It really depends what you mean by "happened". Lots of stuff happened. Lots of stuff was claimed. Lots of stuff resulted.

9/11 happened. There are lots of details about it that are fiction and a lot that are just incorrect. It's all very confusing and obscured and that's how they want it. Plausible deniability. Or in this case, not denial but plausible actuality.

May I ask why you refuse to look into it? By approving the submissions (I didn't know about that bit) you will inevitably be studying it.

When looking at the material, for the most part the skeptical content should be mostly racist free. For me it was initially difficult not to assume the people were all racist. Far from it. However there are some that insist on being vulgar and tainting their information. A racist can still be correct with information. I'm an atheist but still know religious folks can still be correct with aspects of history too.

I'd like to propose a rule for the /s/HolocaustSkepticism sub:
No racism or anti-Semitism allowed. Posted external content with racism may be permitted if their information is subjectively good (we can't help that their attitude stinks), but try to find better sources on the same info, and only so much will be tollerated. Clarity is paramount so be specific when referring to Jews and/or the state of Israel and/or Zionists. Moderators may insist that you modify your text accordingly to be specific.

I'd also like to include some clarification statements:
Israel is a state, and it's not anti-Semitic to criticize it, like any other state, for war crimes and crimes against humanity, among other things, including their Jewish supremacist and apartheid policies.
Jewish people are just part of the sheeple flock of humanity, and they are as deceived, manipulated, exploited, and victimized just as any other community can be, and they, like all other sheeple are guilty of not waking up to the ruling class exploitation. Not all Jews share the same values or heritage and to lump them together is wrong. Many do not buy the Holocaust or 9/11 narratives. Many feel like they are the chosen race. Many don't care about any of this.
Zionism is an evil ideology bent on full spectrum dominance and enslavement of humanity by any and all means that has infiltrated and intermixed with Royalty, Freemasonry, NeoLibralism/NeoConservativism, Wahhabism, all governments, the military industrial complex, Wall Street, and Hollywood in a authoritarian globalist technocracy-corporatocracy. Zionists include Jews, Muslims, Christians, Catholics, and other faiths, but they confuse this fact by using the brainwashed Jewish population as human shields and claiming that anti-Zionist views are anti-Jewish or anti-Semitic when that's far from true.

This first draft might be edited down. But that's the sentiment.

We could add this section or leave it out, up to you...

Eventually it would be nice to start wiki pages too. I would start with the legalities of questioning a story that we are not allowed to question, what regions have 1) made it illegal, and 2) actually persecute folks, and 3) how vigorously. If you can't question it then what are they hiding?

Humour may be a tricky thing to moderate. A joke about 9/11 may be tasteless, but it's not illegal, nor does it have a potential racist angle. But often the jokes are not even aimed at the alleged victims, but rather aims at the absurdity of the propaganda, or of the believers of one story or another, or the government and/or media.

I like Tool because they have intelligent lyrics, but I don't really like their music for long.

I like the ideas of Florence Raging With Her Machine (in that way) but I'm not a huge fan of their music, nor Tom's music and its activism. I'd rather watch Tom bitch slap Bill Maher with his common sense ideas and awareness.

/u/d3rr + /u/portcity,

I suggested (in chat #home) making a new sub for those actually using the SaidIt software (not just the site). You'd be best for mod(s) and know what you want to call it.

Maybe other folks who use your fork that don't have time for the rest of SaidIt can focus on just that sub if they choose to.

And of course it'd also be for those who code, dev, and contribute in that realm.

You may appreciate my /s/BittersweetSeeds screenplay/storyboard/graphic-novel project. One of these years I'm going to finish it, hopefully soon. You can read it then or tune in on occasion to see progress. Or you are even welcome to help in some way(s). Mostly I just need people prodding me and feedback. Eventually there may be more to do for others after I've brain dumped the full story basics into a vomit draft. If I had any discipline I'd be doing that instead of this.

It's a slow roll into dystopia. Unlike Hitler rolling into Paris, we've been slow rolling into World War 3 since 9/11, a new nation at war every couple years.

Interesting, you're the 6th or 7th female I've met on SaidIt, not that I'm counting nor that it matters nor ask. I've never known an Ash in person (or virtual). I know it can be a name for either sex. The only one I know of specifically is Ash from Army Of Darkness.

Neil Stephenson books vividly stick in your head for decades with their bold unique ideas. If my BsS story can be half as good I'll be a happy camper. I can't recommend him enough. His other work is terrific too.

Good call on The Forever War and Starship Troopers though I've not read it.

It was not tragic censorship but it was censorship nonetheless.

When I first came here they were afraid to mess with the database to fix up the chaos of the subs - for fear that they might be suspected of secretly tampering. Or so they said.

Well this isn't secret and it's blatant censorship tampering with a slippery slope. My content was NOT down pyramid and was relevant to that sub - but we'll never get a community discussion on it because it's been disappeared and the moment has passed.

I am seriously considering drafting up a post about it to bring attention to it for the discussion I never got to have.

ignored like most posts on SaidIt.

This is a non-deference, unless you're okay with Epstein walking away by saying "LOL a lot of this shit gets ignored, why not mine?"

I WASN'T FUCKING GUILTY OF ANYTHING!!!

It was bullshit subjective censorship where it wasn't called for or even fucking necessary. There was not controversy. No one was calling for it to be removed. There was no name calling, racism, violence, etc.

If we're going to start reporting and censoring bland humour then SaidIt is FINISHED. Might as well bring back the edgetrolls and give it to them.

Thanks for making the sub.

I'm honored and grateful for the invite. I will accept. If you like I can make a banner and/or apply my CSS - after I get a new monitor and do graphics again. (Meanwhile I'm pushing a paint brush around.)

I'm far from an expert on the matter but you really don't need to be in order to see it's a scam - starting with the perpetual reparations thing that doesn't apply to all the other people in the camps - the 50 Holocaust museums on a continent across the ocean - yet there are no Native American museums in Europe, the utter impracticality of allegedly gassing and burning corpses, little mention of it before the 1970s, etc. etc. etc. - And then they do worse to the Palestinians. None of it makes sense under scrutiny.

Anyway, I won't be an active moderator unless I stabilize, and I that may never happen. I will peak in on things now and then but nothing timely nor reliably. If anyone includes my /u/username, and if my messages aren't piled up I'll get to it ASAP. Otherwise I'm working on 2 big projects (/s/BittersweetSeeds and /s/Trutherism101), hope to soon delve into /s/SaidItBots so I can spend less time surf-posting (and being distracted by all the wonders), and I aim to finish categorizing all the subs on SaidIt, only to upkeep them on occasion. I've only started with a lot to get through. https://saidit.net/s/SaidIt/wiki/multisubs Eventually I'll finish and start promoting the hell out of multi-subs for people to learn how to make themselves or they may help curate and manage the lists or just use them as an easier way to search for topical or related content. At that point I intend to let the info come to me with multisubs and bots configured - including the subs I'm "supposed" to moderate. (In my opinion the entire SaidIt community should moderate itself. At least now while it's small. In the future I'd like to see a /s/SaidItConflicts for public resolutions, though it may also be abused if not moderated. I try to think outside the box.) Of course, at that point I actually hope to be very busy with the 2 first projects.

I've noticed you have a level head and wisdom, of what I've seen. Feel free to look at my subs and ask to be co-mod on some if you like. Many are not mine though and I can pass on the request, as I'm joined only for now. I have a lot of graphics and some CSS to finish on those redecoration jobs before I'll un-mod myself from them.

Well conspiracies exist. I could list a hundred that even mainstream media acknowledges as true. Start with Russiagate, the excuses why Medicare for all won't fly, or the lies for perpetual war and the surveillance state.

If you don't look into it then you'll never know other perspectives that may make you change your mind.

I am 48 years old. I only looked into it a few years ago. It was the last "mind-bending" red pill I took. I didn't want to be an "anti-Semite" - even though I well knew about Jewish this and that, having lived in NYC, friends in Montréal and Vancouver, a half Palestinian girlfriend, Jewish cousins and an uncle, etc. I honestly wasn't interested in Nazis or war. Once you look though the logic of the myth falls apart pretty quickly.

And you learn there are 3 types of holocaust skeptics:

1) Those who are anti-Semitic. 2) Those who have looked into the actual history and details that don't add up. 3) Those who are both.

Unfortunately #1 and #3 make it bad for #2 who I'll wager far out number them.

Your fears are not unfounded, however, if Switzerland wants to drop a boot on SaidIt then we'll have to adapt and maybe even become decentralized somehow sooner than later. If Voat or Phuks get shut down permanently, along with all the other truther, alternative history, and historical revisionism sites, then we may have something serious to be concerned about.

I am curious what /u/magnora7 and /u/d3rr think about this.

Further, I'd like you to check on /u/old getting banished from /s/Holocaust for posting the official narrative stuff in what appears to be good faith if naive.

I think fundamentally neither is less true, but 1984 seems simpler and starker.

I see 3 posts there by you - all pointing to the propaganda the corporatocracy would have us believe. If you actually looked into it you'd find the truth may be hard to take at first but it's mostly lies and exaggerations. I have no side in the fight other than seeking the truther, no matter how ugly. And this is ugly. Then Venom adds racism to it and makes it uglier - making me wonder if Venom is not actually Jewish trying to make normal skeptics like me look bad.

I find it odd that /u/Venom has not answered /s/Holocaust/comments/tzh/open_letter_to_sholocaust/

I suspect Venom banned you for repeating propaganda, which is IMO stupid. It's further stupid that he/she/it did not know there was already a /s/TheHolocaust and if he/she/it only wanted skeptic and/or racist content the new sub should have been called /s/HolocaustSkepticism or /s/TheHolocaustSkepticism and let the posts speak for themselves.

Unless folks don't want me to, in a few weeks I'll make /s/HolocaustSkepticism unless someone beats me to it.

I literally have Brave New World on the top of the stack of books by my toilet as the next book I was going to read, or re-read in this case. I moved it there a week or two ago because of what they were saying - 1984 is far more referenced in common discussions and people in general are less familiar with BNW.

First to the post at hand...

It's interesting in that I can't tell if it's a legitimate collection of a real trend that's being documented, racial opinions aside.

On the next level it seems that this collection has a strong possibility that it has a racist conflict raising agenda.

On the next level, we already know that governments are intentionally fucking shit up with their migration policies.

When your government is intentionally fucking shit up in your neighbourhoods, communities, and nation, at what point are legitimate in griping?

For example are the British racist when other white people are imported to their country from eastern European nations? Change the nation and the skin colour might change.

Make a collection of images of Middle Eastern and Indian women with boys/young men - and spin it the same way.

Is this counter-propaganda against the ruling class' migration chaos?

Is this racist-propaganda "defending" their culture and "race"?

Is it both?

And then there's the motives of the OP original poster of this, /u/Key_Resource, and why he/she/it felt compelled to say, "Polish are Cucks Polcucks".

Plus on a personal level I hadn't even thought about some of this as it applies to my /s/BittersweetSeeds story. My fictional character, Ernest Achbar, was born Palestinian and married his wife Celine from France and had their daughter Celeste. Celeste is a combination of their names. Celine is an other name for Luna goddess of the Moon, which will relate later, as will their ancestries. Spoiler: Ernest dies in the end, and though you might be able to pull out certain martyr tropes there's not much else similar between Ernest and Jesus Christ besides their Palestinian birth. Why did they marry? In 1999-2000 I animated at Pitch Inc in NYC with some people from other places, like J.D. and Josselin (on projects like this https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0220714/). So Josselin and J.D. explained some stuff that stuck in my mind and I thought it was a neat thing to include in my story - though now I have much deeper reasons to think on it. Arab culture in France is/was edgy and cool - the way Black and rap culture are in the USA. Part of the character story and irony is that Celine though Ernest was a "bad boy" when really he was just a nerd, but they paired up anyway.

I wish I knew Mark Achbar better but am glad to know him at all just the same. He's a great guy and filmmaker and I learned that Achbar means "great" in Arabic. I have other friends who are closer and great too, but they don't have the name that I borrowed for my character Ernest Achbar, (aka great earnest). https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0009788/

I am not an SJW but I wanted to include these "diversity" elements to make my story more interesting as well as provide food for thought, and maybe even challenge the audience. Obviously with current Hollywood movies they don't know how to do it naturally, intelligently, or with well rounded characters so they fail miserably.

EDIT:

Lot's of hits: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=1950s+big+radiation+leak+in+Los+Angeles

Whistleblowers have also come forward to expose the little-known catastrophe, which occurred north of Los Angeles in 1959 and leaked over 300 times the allowable amount of radiation into surrounding neighborhoods. That contamination may now linked to up to a 60% increase in certain cancers in the area, but the government still refuses to acknowledge its colossal mistake. ~ https://theantimedia.com/the-worst-nuclear-disaster-in-us-history-that-youve-never-heard-about/ - posted: /s/Radiation/comments/u8b/the_worst_nuclear_disaster_in_us_history_that/

I think it's click-bait for them trying to make a low hanging nothing burger.

I think they have some legit good content. But I'm afraid they fucked the pooch on this one. Their comment section is shitting on them tremendously.

It was because of some of their good content that I tried to follow them for a bit. Unfortunately they seem trapped in a regimented format to make a regular show that needs to be filled with content. Sometimes they'll have a hit and sometimes a miss. The problem is that you have to actually pay attention for a while to know how legit they are or aren't (on many levels) and how much they hit and miss.

I was already getting alienated before this. The egos of some media bugs me. "I predicted this." "I'm always right." "We are way ahead of everyone else." etc. Sometimes they do that to waste time and sometimes to act like children - it's hard to tell.

Especially when you did nothing about the OnA guys or the Incel banning. No leader or follower is perfect. So maybe dredging these up is unfair or poor form too. But censoring a minion post? Really?
