Fair. What I learned is that most trolls seek the distraction over actual discussion.

So you look to engage with trolls by exposing them as frauds while having a factual argument.

I think the best course of action that worked to put me is find the fun in the engagement. Yes, I'm serious about the topics I engage with but I'm seeing how they react to different things and they have to go at my pace.

Oh yeah, that was meant to happen just like that. I had a LOT of conservative circles that were getting upset about what's now known as woke and there was PLENTY of shenanigans to keep them riled up and divided on black bloc tactics (a bunch of people dress up and knock over ATMs and somesuch) or a dude getting air time while dressed as a fairy and I'm like...

That... That's not accurate to what's being presented on RT or anything else. Took a decade later to realize people got had. And looking back at Occupy, the real crazy shit was how the FBI wanted to snipe anyone they deemed a leader (including students) and the fusion centers meant to take down the Occupy branches.

This coincides with a LOT of bots in other subs and even what I'd done in my own sub to kill a bot network.

I'd noticed certain memes going around in my sub with the position that it was always a certain flavor of anarchism.

I just watched it for a while...

One day, they tried a meme that went too far and I locked the thread and told them take it to Marxism memes.

The bots did...

And I watched as new accounts and a sub takeover took place.

Instead of focusing on Lenin and Trotsky memes, it went to woke.

It may seem harsh to do this, but there was a point to it. If the mods are asleep, the bots take over. And they work to tamp down on learning to push woke.

And that's what's happening... Reddit keeps down those that want to learn and pushes the fake when it can.
