For me it’s almost entirely a question of efficacy. However the social costs shouldn’t be dismissed.

On a more abstract level, I find that I just don’t trust our decision makers these days. There seem to be very few out there today that will draw their own conclusions rather than be safe and tow the party line (that generally seems to be based on what is most safe to say or most popular, facts be damned).

He’s been saying the background radiation left over from the Big Bang is just bad science for years now. Essentially he states that because Kirchhoffs law isn’t correct we’ve been building satilites and antenna to measure the background radiation. But all they’re actually measuring is their immediate surroundings or variations in the instrument itself.

2019 world rice production was 756 million tonnes. Italy was 1.6 million tonnes.

Not saying there won’t be a real drop in food availability, but this ain’t it. See Fertiliser production and China’s recovery from swine flu (pigs eat a lot of grain). Last week ish… he said he doesn’t believe in the right to self defence. This came off a farmer that shot one of 4 burglars that tried to do burglary naughtyness. He had a 3 year old in the house at the time. Now I’m sure it’s more complex than that, these things normally are. However to come out and blankety say I don’t believe in the right to self defence, the police should be dealing with such things. Is just simple lunacy.
