This one really confuses me. The sub is literally images of foxes. It's harmless.

Every time a popular sub is banned, the userbase here grows slightly. So it really all depends on how much content is removed from Reddit.

I guess the only option would be to start a thread to promote the existence of the wiki.

Eh! Or we could go back to basics and express our fudge ups using the bold edit line in the contents of the post. That's what Reddit restorts to when customizable flairs are not available to the public for certain subs.

I do however think a slightly improved title system would be a grand addition to the site in the distant future.

Seems like more effort than it's worth. Don't you have to setup flairs for each individual sub?

In all seriousness, good luck on your fitness journey! I'm sure you don't need luck, but there's no harm in wishing for your success.

Does the codebase not support some kind of edit history? Editing titles is an ideal feature for clumsy folks like myself who make basic typing mistakes often.

Why is there 400 more subscribers in WPDTalk than in WPD? by TheProgrammingDog in WPDTalk

Just a guess, maybe because one of the core values of this site is discussion.

It still absolutely no surprised to me why WPD was killed off before T_D.

I guess it couldn't really be surprising since they banned pro choice subs and a random eating disorder sub long before they banned WPD. I remember somebody actually posted a massive list of all the subs they had banned within the time frame of a few months.

It's interesting if you think about the consequence of that fact, it means that people dont have freedom of thought, they give up that freedom in order to "fit in" and "to be a true _____" . There was a Joe Rogan w/ Adam Conover (Adam Ruins Everything) podcast the other day where you could see this in full effect, and it was very sad. It was obvious his reasoning was purely in the service of SJW prerogatives, and not intelectual honesty, or even common sense for that matter, and yet this guy hosts a show predicated on facts and truth. Quite incredible.

The internet used to be the best place for freedom of speech before smartphones & social media popularized it to the general public. Nowadays it sadly is a shell of its former self. It's no surprise he would try cater to the SJW crowd. If he didn't, he would likely no longer have a career anymore. Control is slowly slipping away from everyone. We've got the treasure the remains while it lasts.

Supporting Donald Trump isn't considered tasteless, at least not yet.

Controversy has happened a few times in the media, due to how some supporters act on The Donald. Reddit weirdly doesn't seem to care, instead they look for other subs to ban.

As a participant in WPD, I understand that people think it's tasteless, and while I think I can make the case that it is not, nobody is going to listen to it, so we're at an impasse, and on living on saidit.

Yup, it's human nature. When somebody has strong beliefs on something, it can be difficult if not impossible to change their view on the subject matter.

Slightly off topic: Is title editing going to get implemented? I always found it strange how the software never supported it natively by default?

Well I'm not against porn per-se. I just think the reasoning of "it brings about novel discussions" is a bit bullshit lol. It's to jerk off too and NEVER in my life have I walked away from a porn sub/site and thought "Wow, I really had a thought provoking discussion there." I've always walked away satisfied and ready for bed, though.

Never in your life?! :o Boy, you don't know what you missing out on.

There isn't a "no nudity" rule, there's just a no porn rule. You want to discuss the human body and it's nude glory? I don't think magnora7 would be against it.

Yeah, someone mentioned that some of the WPD deaths involved nudity. I guess I should keep that in mind. I'm not sure if it's useful or not.

You want to post a chick getting DP'd in "Big Black Cocks 5"? Yeah, I don't think that will lead to any kind of meaningful discussion. This is a site that's set on meaningful/dense encounters with thought put into those discussions.

It's like discussing your favorite TV show or movie when you think about it. :-p

Again, I just wanna say I have no problem with porn. I watch it all the time, love the stuff. I just think it goes against the goal of the site and doesn't spawn much meaningful discussion beyond "nice tits".

That's fine, I get it. It's been drilled into my head at this point.

More people should be content with mediocre lives. People honestly set the standards way too high for themselves these days. It's not healthy for the mental state of the mind.

Also, you bring up the government, but in my country the government is actively going out of their way to make pornography a pain in the ass to access.

I respect your opinion on porn, I just don't necessarily agree with it. I find it helps calm the mind after a stressful day of work.
