Well its a pre-print, so it hasn't been peer reviewed yet, but there is some trouble with their logic and premise of the study.

They are framing this as 'vaccination' vs 'infection', when this is a false paradigm - People who have been vaccinated still get Covid, so you have to ADD vaccine risk + covid risk to the vaccinated patients. This is not actually an either/or scenario, since this vaccine is NOT sterilizing and does NOT prevent the infection. The vaccinated have two sources of myocarditis risk, the unvaccinated have one.

This study does not appear to be controlling for cases of infection AND vaccination, so at a glance I'd say it has very little value, and their conclusions are misleading

What you are referring to is an interesting phenomenon.

Traditionally, freedom of speech has been a liberal value. Leftist orgs like the ACLU even fought for the rights of the KKK to march at one point, because this principle was more important than which side was doing the speech. Right leaning Christian groups were the main drivers of censorship for most of American history

Now the ACLU only promotes the DNC agenda, and the liberal politicians have done a 180 on speech, no longer supporting this principle. In fact the people we now see the most supporting free speech are conservative Republicans and Christians who have been censored by the liberals.

This isn't the first time in U.S. history that the parties have swapped some or all of their platforms. During the civil war, the southern democrats were the conservative party, and the northern republicans like Lincoln were actually the liberals.

You can't trust a political party, and should stick to your principles rather than engaging in party groupthink is the lesson I personally take from this, as parties are inclined to change their principles whenever it suits their interests of power.

Perhaps you are right, though I still have some questions about this. Your linked text gives me the impression that these cases involved people that were intentionally huffing it, which you would think would involve much higher concentrations than spraying it around a room that you are in. Maybe it happens and its more dangerous than I realize, but I've never heard of an accidental case like this from non-concentrated exposure, people spray lysol aerosols all over the place all the time. Everyone I knew as a teen used to use it to cover the smell of weed, nobody ever died, and we used a lot in small rooms. Or maybe they are full of shit and the girl was straight huffing it. Personally, I'm not sure why there would be any real paid shills on Saidit, this site maybe has 100 regular users total, and most of them don't change their minds easily, which is why 90% of this site is here, because reddit banned them for views plenty of people tried to talk them out of. Reddit, Twitter and the like are better places for shills to be effective and reach a large audience of easily swayed people. If someone is getting paid to post shit here, they are really wasting their money.

Personally, I think most people here, me included, strongly believe a lot of things (I wont use that one term again, lol, unintended interpretation), thats what got many of us removed from reddit.

It does feel good when you change someones mind through discussion and reason, and conversely to gain insights from others. I think StillLessons is largely correct. There are two types of people here. One is the type that is doing this for financial gain, but this type is rarer than the other type, and wants to create this second type for their own personal gain.

StillLessons called the second type 'activists', but I would use the term 'true believers', as it isn't necessarily political. Christians are a type of true believer - they want to save you from your wrong views and convert you to their correct ones. I'd also say that secular ideologies work much the same way, at least in social dynamics, you can have a true believer in liberalism, conservatism, gender ideology, capitalism, or pretty much any idea or group of ideas. They aren't really 'shills' because they truly believe what they say, and aren't in it for financial gain, but their words might be hard to distinguish from the first group

Well, I'm not for censorship, but that video contains some rather egregious 'mistakes'. He used footage from 2019 and tried to pass it off as vaccine related, and grossly misinterprets study data, such as his claim that 83% of vaccinated pregnant women miscarried, which not only is false, but distracts from the fact the real number of 10% according to the actual study data he refers to is pretty alarming. This is the same guy (stu peters) who made a 2021 video saying covid was caused by cobra venom that satan worshippers put in the water supply, he is not lending credibility to the cause. This guy is either a grifter or a QAnon style psy-op meant to discredit 'conspiracy theorists' by making them look stupid
