I recently found out about reveddit.com and ran my username. Found 23 post that had been taken down by mods or auto mods.

Some of the auto mod take downs I still can't figure out what was wrong with the posts. Might have been edgy but I have seen worse on reddit.

Some of the mod take downs were nothing more then total abuse of power. One example, I agreed with someone who told a story about what life was like during the cold war under communism and my comment was manually deleted by a mod! 100% clean comment. No swearing or anything. Plenty of comments shiting on the guy's story that the mod left alone More scary then anything.

People need to take censorship serious.

Can you give us more context on the accusations? I don't really know anything about ip2. (I'm going to assume the complaints were with regards to percived racism or bigotry?)

Was there any validity to the complaints? Where they made completely out of context? Can you give us an example of some of the complaints?

Now that the bar has moved an inch and ip2 is gone do you expect people like the accuser to try and take a foot? Will more bans be coming down now that there is a route to removal? (I know its speculation, just asking your thoughts)

To me I think inflation will become a big part of the problem. It's one of the only ways countries can help absorb the debt they are taking on to get us though this.

Things will start to get more and more expensive over the next few years and wages wont keep up. (Even more so.) People will just not be able to live the same quality of life they have been living. Those with assets will be okay, but the average worker or young people starting out will be SOL as everything will just be so expensive.

As it becomes $60 - $70 to eat out at a crappy restaurant less and less people will be able to afford it and so restaurants will go out of business and things will start to spiral. Not just in the food industry but every industry further adding to the problem.

It will not be an over night collapse but over the next 5-10 years life will get worse not better. You will get less for the money your making. Will it be 50% less goods? Maybe 75% less? Who knows..... I just feel the equality gap will widen and as a result there will be more and more unrest like we are just starting to see.

Just my prediction.

Just remember two things.

First, all this could have been avoided with 6 words from trudeau. "We are ending the vaccine mandates."

Second, since this started 3 weeks ago, CBC, CTV and GlobalTV have constantly talked about the protestors and how they could be violence. But it never happened. If it had it would have been all over the news. There was a cash of weapons found out west near a border crossing but nothing else beyond misdemeanors. Let it been know that the government was the first to become violent. (And hopefully the last.)

The way that men go about the locker room and the way women go about is very different.

Having lived at the gym in my 20s I know all about how men walk about the locker room. Naked, no shower curtains, hanging out in the sauna. This is how a male locker room works.

I know from girlfriends that their locker room experience is the exact opposite. Towels and curtains everywhere. There is exactly zero standing around naked and having a conversation and zero "get naked and have girls' shower time"

I've kept daily weather logs for over 20 years now as part of my business. I dont claim to be a pro on this stuff but our weather here is definitely different then from 20 years ago.

For us so far things are better. Less snow and cold and longer summers and amazing falls. Our springs are almost non existent now. We go from a shorter winter to a snow/ rain mix for like two months and then bam, in like a week it changes into hot summer.

I think your a fool if you deny that a change is happening but I do belive that the consequences are vastly overstated. I also believe that a lot of the green movements profit driven not true environmentalism to help the planet.

I love how they immediately take this to a climate change issue by the second sentence.

But experts caution that changing environmental conditions will lead to a shift in where and when polar bears are spotted, increasing the risk of surprise encounters.

Literally the second sentence in this story. It's not until half way thought the article they mention this the northern most community is Ontario and polar bear sightings are common.

Rather then tell the story of what happened and then add at the end something like "scientists are concerned that changing weather may lead to more encounters" it's line two. This is done on purpose to try and link this attack to climate change despite climate change have zero correlation with this incident.

Anyone who has been around any type of bear (or wild animal) knows that surprising and animal is a sure way to lead to a confrontation. Looks like this poor couple came out of their house and the bear was right there.
