Everyone is upset about stocks, but most of the dirty dealing is in private equity where there is very little oversight. You can be sure the congress insider trading is small fish compared to the other things they get up to.

It's not entirely the Ukraine war that's for sure. They make up too small of a portion of most commodities to account for the massive shortages and inflation worldwide. Maybe in a few select middle eastern and African countries. The real reason is mostly climate change causing draughts and flooding in areas not accustomed to this.

So many good fantasy series have been ruined by wokeness. Dragon age origins was one of the best RPGs in decades, 2 was okay but rushed, 3 was murdered by woke activists. More attention was given to developing trans and gay plotlines than actually creating a decent game. That was in 2014 so I can't even imagine games these days.

There's a show "Indian Weddings" where a matchmaker helps set up rich people. The girls are always like "I want a man from such and such region of India who speaks this language, is a doctor, etc". I was thinking last night that no way would there ever be a show called "European/Caucasian weddings".

That is a crazy. Why should a biological male be allowed in the girls changing room to watch young girls to whom he has no relationship? I'm all for people's freedom to live whatever lifestyle they want, even if I don't agree with it or condone it, but the limits of one's liberty end when one starts to infringe upon others. These girls have every right to privacy without being sexualized by a creep.

I'm okay with the death penalty, but lethal injection is ridiculous. Painful, unnecessarily expensive, and practically unregulated. There a case where a prison in Oklahoma was purchasing their chemicals from a laundromat in the UK.

It would be much more humane to use a firing squad, guillotine, or even strangle them like in the Roman times.

There are a few Dr William Dunn's who came up when I searched. Only one would fit your description. He went to a for profit school which means the PhD is not accredited (so it's not the same as having a real PhD from like University of Iowa). Those places are diploma mills.

Interesting take and I agree. I think we originally had similar diets like mostly fruit and vegetables along with insects and small rodents. With the use of tools we started to eat larger animals and fish. With the advent of agriculture moved to eating livestock. From an evolutionary perspective don't think a meat heavy diet is ideal.

Sorry, but disagree. Many private schools, as well as public schools in wealthy areas, have excellent student outcomes because they can afford teachers from top schools and don't overwhelm them with huge class sizes. The main issues in education are extremely low wages lack of funding in the classroom. There's no reason a teacher should make the same as someone working at Starbucks.

I do see his point. I recently got back into gaming for a little bit. It didn't take long to realize that many players in their late 20s/earlier 30s have low paying jobs (like working at the gas station), depression, and/or substance abuse problems. It's a nice escape but a complete waste of time if your goal is to improve your life.
