Society would benefit greatly from ending the war on drugs. No more cartels. Multibillions in taxes some of which could be used to help addicts who want help. Less people rotting in prison for victimless crimes. Unfortunately too many politicians are invested in the for profit prisons we have going here in the US, so would probably have to do it through executive order. Don’t think there’s any potential candidates atm brave enough to actually do it though.

I’ve already made my argument on this matter in another thread so here:

As much as I can’t stand Alec he is innocent of any wrongdoing imo. He was not responsible for loading the gun, and I think it’s unreasonable to expect him to unload the gun to check if the ammunition was blanks instead of bullets. Thus I believe a reasonable person would find him innocent of even involuntary manslaughter.

they do not have different laws apply to actors on a set

No but circumstances matter, and as I’ve already stated I believe it is unreasonable to expect him to check the ammunition when the set “expert” was responsible for loading the gun with the proper ammunition.

Believe? Doesn’t sound like there is a signed written statement if belief is all you have.

Suspect that Trump was aware of the documents by then.

What evidence is there to support this suspicion?

He was aware of the room. Apparently he kept his passports there.

His passports being taken in the raid does not mean they were kept in the room with the documents nor that he was aware of the documents.

Maybe it will embolden some officers, but if you’re 8 feet away and they walk up on you then you’re no longer a bystander. Thus according to this law you can film.

Edit: I agree though the filming itself isn’t the problem; it’s the being too close to an active scene. Therefore I argue the police should never have the right to order/ask you to stop recording too close to a scene only the right to order/ask you to move 8 feet away from said scene. Also for the record 8 feet is only 3 steps, so again I think that part is very reasonable.

At the moment the observable universe is expanding and thus cooling. However the observable universe is uniform, so if said uniformity continues sufficiently outside of the observable universe then the observable universe is necessarily contained in an event horizon. Thus eventually everything will move back towards the origin which will cause warming. Since energy is conserved this cycle of expansion and contraction can be eternal.

motion is caused by a loss of potential energy

All energy has the potential to be any other type of energy, thus all energy can be thought of as potential energy. Even mass is just potential energy. Thus our whole universe is energy, and as far as I can tell it does not need a first cause just as your first cause does not need a first cause.

Having no first cause is the nature of being eternal.

If the universe has always been changing then by definition there wouldn’t be a first cause

Eternal means no beginning and no end, so you contradict yourself when you say “in an eternal universe the cycle cannot begin”.

Yeah definitely sketchy. Also there is enough space between gorilla and spider monkey for human to fit which is inconsistent with the spacing we can see between the other categories. Furthermore even if human was left off the list it would make sense since the question is asking which of the following is endangered, and obviously humans aren’t.

Could The Universe Be Inside A Black Hole? by Optimus85 in space

[–]Hel 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

An interesting fact about black holes (if my calculations are correct) is that they can be formed regardless of the density of the formation mass given a sufficient amount of said mass, and the observable universe has a relatively uniform density thus if this uniformity continues sufficiently outside of the observable universe then we are necessarily inside of a black hole. If anyone is interested I could calculate the sufficient diameter required to form this “universal” black hole.
