[–]Heimdekledi 2 insightful - 10 fun2 insightful - 9 fun3 insightful - 10 fun -  (0 children)

No, no humans are male or female because its a spectrum. Also the number of limbs on a human being is objectively not a fixed number, so yeah you could describe it as a spectrum.

All sex traits determine an individuals sex spectrum status, not just “primary” ones. The distinction is arbitrary.

Mammalian reproduction following a two gamete pattern does not show that their are only two sexes, because some people who don’t produce gametes. Since those people aren’t sexless, sex is based on anatomy and therefore a spectrum as sexual anatomy occurs in intermediate forms across a whole range of possible sex trait configurations.

It in no way supports such an idea? The issue is oppressive systems of thinking not people posessing certain sex trait configurations

Cis people and their noxious sytsems of oppression are what fuel the tendency for trans people to normalize their appearances in line with cis standards of appearance. I’m sorry, what was that you said about victim blaming? 🙄

Also you don’t have to announce it but remember that if you assume and you’re wrong you shouldn’t get mad at the other person, you should just tell them that it isn’t going to work out and leave.

You have misunderstood the sex matrix; trans women aren’t women on the sex matrix, because there isn’t a “woman” section on the sex matrix.

No, trans people do not have an ethical duty to disclose their trans status anymore than people of non-obvious racial, ethnic, marital, or religious status have a duty to disclose said status to potential sexual partners. It is up to the person who has such preferences to disclose them, and then trans or other people have an ethical obligation to not sleep with them.

It is safer for trans people to disclose in certain areas and safer for trans people to not disclose in other areas (such as places where being trans is a crime)

Um better off trans people?

All: Why do a lot of trans people insist that being non binary or trans has nothing to to with stereotyoes, and then suddenly it really is about stereotypes? by questioningtw in GCdebatesQT

[–]Heimdekledi 1 insightful - 7 fun1 insightful - 6 fun2 insightful - 7 fun -  (0 children)

You’re looking at this backwards. Its not “I liked x so Im y” its “I am y so I became interested in x because society pushes x onto y’s”. I mean its not like cis girls have a biological attraction to certain toys or interests, its all just societal messaging and it affects trans girls to, even if just unconsciously.

There is no difference between cis girls and trans girls athletically if they take hormone blockers and hrt. Why shouldn’t they get to play?

Untrue. Cis women beat trans women in sports all the time. Cos women compete against other cis women who have physical advantages over them all the time. Including trans women and girls in female sports does not mean that trans women will always win or that trans women will always have physical advantages over their cis counterparts. To say so is simply wrong.

The sex binary is a part of gender. Sex trait combinations actually occur along a spectrum. With no artificial sex binary and the oppressive societies that they breed, people who are born with or desire different sex trait combinations won’t be stigmatized.

Because I consider the patriarchy and more specifically the kyriarchy to be the root of oppression against women.

Seems like you’re presuming that survey results = actual number of lesbians in real life = “natural” biological rate of homosexuality among women, is that correct?

Autogynephilia is impossible in women, same as autoandrophilia is impossible in men.

Psssh the cis straights talk about “feeling like a woman” or “feeling like a man” in regards to sex all the time. Sounds like gender euphoria in a sexual context to me!

agree with that, many of these male transitioners are "transbians" as you say, way more than we would expect had they truly been "female"

I didn’t realize “females” were supposed to keep to some “natural” percentage of non-lesbians.

It’s not a derogatory term though, and it never has been. It’s only ever been used by trans men to refer to their own bodies. The fact that you banned a term that isn’t even meant for you and is widey used by the trans masc community proves that there is no real intention towards making this place at all acceptable for QT posters.
