Creativity or its implementation is 99% hard work and only 1% actual creativity itself.

I think you are at a point in your life where i already stood sometime to decide which way to take. When i realized that i actually can help people directly instead of only accumulating FED-approved toilet paper by just doing what i already was doing my whole life, my definition of egoism or egocentrism shifted considerably. People following you down this rabbit hole are only people that are willing to achieve something less standard and more individual with their lives. It is a really nice idiosyncratic coincidence that happened to me way too often to be purely random. And it still does.

Because if you get nearer to the real original self that is inside yourself and start to live it out or in your case rather finally start to let it go out, you will always have the respect of other people. And you even can keep the bridges of your castle open while the walls still are too high to climb for all these simple minds. So i don't consider myself purely open, obviously. There i deviate from your point of view. Because understanding the border between my inner and outer self better still is a very fuzzy topic for me.

Not everyone of course, because being everyone's darling isn't a role for humans like us two to achieve. But the good people. (The right people). Funny thing about this fact is, that you can read it in the Stoa from Epictet and from Lao Tse in his description of the Tao. But even that i did way too late in my life, sadly.

Yeah. I already know this kind of story. That's my old therapist trying to analyze my mind. Trust me, he wasn't the first being bamboozled when i started talking about whats going on in my head. (And actually i haven't even started... that's the really nice fact.)

I don't need to convince you. Because this leads into discussions trading arguments which are mostly pointless unless you are a fucking bobblehead, sry: politician. I'm a fan of the real old-school dialogue. Face-to-face. Getting to know people. Taking time for this, so you don't drift into prejudices, oversimplified drawers or categories like this. Looking for peoples mindsets and values. And the "organic" cause for my mindset wasn't / isn't fetal alcohol syndrome, it was a shunt siphoning the blood from inside my head into my intestines because otherwise my brain could have been waay more severely damaged by my own blood pressure. Because i had a complex head injury when i was born. Fyi.

That is why i always have a say with my people on who we trust. And if there ever is an equilibrium of votes (which so far didn't occur) on who we take in on what we're building: Guess whose voice counts as a double ... :)

I have some sympathy for every human being. But there are only so many people i trust... I don't need facebook or google to tell me which people my friends are.

They diagnosed me with ADHD way too late. I can get a prescription for Lisdexamfetamine or Methylphenidate anytime i want to. They also diagnosed my Schizophrenia waaay too late in my life, so if i really wanted to, i possibly could get some real hard drugs for "treatment" of these "illnesses". But i made up my mind enough already to live with this. I only fine-tune here and there when adjustments are required. Drugs are crutches: So maybe even a temporary ailment. But fixing this is on me, because obviously others can't well enough.

My schizophrenia implies i'm never alone, even when there is nobody else in the room. I can play chess with myself rather excellent. Because i learned to distinguish between the voices in my head and those from outside. I can dream very lucidly. When i start to fall in trance (another label: i'd rather call it the balance point between awake and asleep, like a lagrange point between earth and sun, fyi) things happen, that aren't explainable with logic, physics or even mathematics.

Inspiring things. Wonderful things. Beautiful things. And horrendous things.

This is like when falling asleep: "normal" people just take some boring, well-known highway, everybody understands. I can choose to go into a jungle that only exists inside me, nobody else can see. Never. Because it is my jungle.

Others need these labels. I don't. Because i know myself well enough to understand that these "illnesses" actually are gifts.

"Use your illusions". That's an album from "Guns 'n' Roses" . I've learned to take this in a literal sense.

I regard these label they want to pin on your head as another form of labels or crutches. Because there are happening too many things around us, a simple human mind just can't understand but isn't able to admit as a fact. And the harder you try to, the harder this gets. So it is pointless.

I don't need to prove anything. But seemingly it starts to get interesting.

If you really want something : You are searching for ways to do / achieve it. If you don't: You're searching for reasons to lie to yourself why you're not able to do it.

E.g. if your family is really as close as my family is to me (which isn't even related to me...) they'll respect when you make the decision to take the time (because this question is asked in the wrong way already: Who nowadays has "free"-time, anyway?) to get better and make the commitment and investment to get parts of your health back. They'll even try to help you in carrying some weight for you that you now are carrying but can't as well right now as you could before. Because they respect you as one of their close and important human beings.

And Buddhism (in my world) only is simplified Hinduism. I don't know, who invented Zen Karate or what the exact definition of it is. Because i don't give a shit about that. Maybe it is an illusion or somebody didn't put his ideas on the internet for once.

What i give a shit about is: It helps me reducing the rpm of my mind while at the same time fine-tuning my coordination. And i can achieve the famous "flow"-state while doing it, which alone is absolutely worth it. If it wasn't for that i wouldn't pay the price it costs me, because it actually IS quite expensive. But the price is fair. Which fits nicely.

And about believing: I believe you only can see what you first believe in. I believe i broke some ceilings in the last decades, so i did it. Another very simple concept.

[–]GeorgeCarlin 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I can't explain everything as deeply and open as i understand it for obvious reasons. Especially since i think about six times faster than i can write. So i use proverbs and metaphors to transport the message because they are much easier to stomach this way.

But handling pain for me works like this (as an example): I broke my ankles three times. This was so fucked up that i even had pain in one knee. Then i bit my tongue and started jumping rope. I've been doing this three to four times in the morning every week for over eight years now (because discipline is a value...). And now my legs are more balanced and stable than they ever were. I can do high kicks which i only realized not far ago when i started doing zen karate.

If the glass ceiling above keeping you down won't break you either gotta force it or circumvent it. If you believe it is possible. That's the point.

So just keep searching and your patience. Balance. So don't search too hard. It is a process. As is the balance between body, mind and soul. It took me decades to really get a grip on who i am. The concept is easy. But actually doing it takes a lot of time.

Well, Sung Tzu teaches that attack always is costly and the goal of every fight or war is peace, at last. Which is a mostly forgotten fact for me.

I'm doing very well in my life so far by thinking defensive first, first and first. Then letting people around me pull off their bs. The laughs they produce with this kind of self-contradiction are always free and sometimes even interesting. I don't know, if i'd ever actually attack sme at all. Because this could be very costly, not even only the risk but also the mental energy that has to go in an attack plan that has a chance to succeed.

This concept i implemented is rather an energy concept than a moral one.

Maybe. I'm also very flexible in applying ethical concepts. There is an old German proverb that goes like this:

"Laws are for people who cannot behave".

I live by a strict codex. And i don't like inconsistence and inconsequence as attributes or character traits anyway. So if it was personal and i had consistent and verified evidence... Yeah. Possibly i would.

This never occurred to me, because i never needed to actually think about it. Most people are numb enough to contradict or rebut themselves sooner or later, so i never "felt" the need to. It rather has been a question of patience for me so far.

But if i would do smth. like this, it of course would follow a strict plan. Not from impulse or emotions. So it definitely would be homicide not manslaughter. And i possibly would spend a lot of energy into the plan to secure multiple tactical options and make very sure, i wouldn't get caught.

Yeah. We're possible more equal in this part than i'd like to admit. My therapist says i got a "brain 2.0" .

But i got some core values and concepts that keep me "sane". Also i'm an idealist because if i wanna make money, i just do it. There is absolutely no fear inside me. Which is a gift. So i developed a spine. That is why i got no shell that can break.

Trauma also never was a problem for me, obviously. And i'm vindictive. I can keep a grudge for a long time and then hit back when the respectlessness or "attack" that actually hit sme inside me is down the memory hole for the sheep that did it to me.

But since i almost perfected (actually converge to) compartmentalization and tactical behavior there is nothing to see here that can be hit inside me.

Sheeple attacking me personally mostly only hit thin air. And then i mirror their own defects. But i'm getting more reasonable with all the energy i still have.

Because he can't code (look at Tesla defect ssd because of a daemon they couldn't get under control), he can't be fair (look at how he treats his employees), he is a hippocrite (look at how he impregnated Grimes) and he has the wrong concept of the relation between power and responsibility (look at all the bs he is pulling with twitter, e.g.).

His problem is his inner emptiness. That is why any satisfaction he can feel only can come from the outside and he actually collects money to "force" being a person he simply ain't.

This problem actually is simple and he shares it with a lot of psychopaths and assholes. Basically with all his fake-ass "friends" (hippocrites) smart people, i call these guys, what they actually are:
