Atmospheric CO2 increases due to ocean warming following Henry's Law on the effect of temperature on gases in solution. It's basic secondary school science. The planet maintains a dynamic equilibrium between CO2 in the oceans, (98% of the Earth's CO2), and atmospheric CO2, by rapid exchange at the ocean surface, (which comprises more than 70% of the planet's surface), regulated by insolation, temperature, atmospheric pressure, and wind.

The insistence that our tiny annual amount of CO2, 0.02% of the CO2 total, (that is 0.02% of 0.04% of our atmosphere), is the cause of ocean warming is anti science. 99.9% of the surface heat is in the oceans and 98% of the CO2 is in the oceans.. Show one proof that atmospheric CO2 levels have risen due to so-called "fossil fuel" burning by mankind. Nobody else has been able to.

Global warming, Climate Change, it's a a common fallacy keeping the funds rolling in and salaries paid. Don't expect people to understand something when their job depends on them not understanding it.

Regarding the so-called "greenhouse theory: Simple thermodynamics – the sun heats the earth (mostly the oceans which are more than 70% of the Earth's surface). The earth loses the extra heat with water vapour and some warming of the atmosphere. The loss of heat by the water vapour (when it condenses) is absorbed mostly by non-radiation molecules and transferred from warmer levels to the cooler troposphere, (at minus 50-55℃). Any increase in the temperature of the troposphere is radiated to space. The idea that molecules at minus 50-55℃ are going to warm the distant ground is a fantasy.
