How are ice crystals formed?

A: A snowflake begins to form when an extremely cold water droplet freezes onto a pollen or dust particle in the sky.
This creates an ice crystal. As the ice crystal falls to the ground, water vapor freezes onto the primary crystal, building new crystals – the six arms of the snowflake.

  • freezes onto a pollen or dust particle in the sky -

TIL that snow is basically just frozen fractal crystallized pollen and dust, amazing world!

How many people do daily pushups & take daily walks outside?
Many people are just living on cruise control, eating fried food from a drive thru, very little thought involved.

Maybe we're overwhelmed, maybe we're too busy, maybe there are lots of excuses...

Random Copy/Paste that I have saved:

Conspiracy, Let me tell you a story about the USA
In 1963, a President got his head blown off in the middle of the day.
It marked the day that intelligence agencies took control of the United States.
Some may argue against that. But let me just say, "they lost his brain". Yes, they lost JFKs brain.
His brain would have proven the bullet trajectory and it was evidence they needed to get rid of.
They lost his brain, a President of the USA.
So if you don't think it was the CIA, just remember that whoever it was had the power to "lose" the brain of the President.

At the time, George HW Bush was a high ranking member of the CIA, if not the one in charge.
From that day on, GHWB was placed highly within presidential administrations, to the point where he was Vice President under Ronald Reagan.
During the RR administration, there was an assassination attempt on Reagan.
If it had been successful, GHWB would have become President.
The attempted assassin?
John Hinckley Jr, whose family was scheduled to have dinner with the Bushes just the week before.
Strange connection, no?
This was the same Reagan who was involved heavily in the Iran Contra scandal, which involved CIA trafficking of cocaine in central America.
It's actually dramatized in the recent Tom Cruise movie "American Made", and they do a great job of highlighting the crazy nature of it.
The movie also does a great, subtle job of showing Bill Clinton's connection to it since much of the drug trafficking and potentially training of Contras was done in Arkansas. This also links Clinton and the drug trade to the deaths of 2 teenage boys in Arkansas in the 80s. For more info look up a 1994 documentary called The Clinton Chronicles, which involves "the boys on the tracks". Clinton himself is a violent woman abuser, and has a string of credible accusations against him for assaulting and raping women.
After Clinton, we came full circle back to 1963.
The man who was likely responsible for JFKs death now had his son in the White House.
And with that, came an absolutely horrifying transformation of our way of life.
The militarization of domestic USA, the stripping of our rights, the surveillance society.
9/11 was the catalyst for all of it. 9/11 happened under the watch of George W. Bush, and again, if you want to argue that intelligence agencies were not responsible, I'll just ask you to explain how 110 stories can come down in 10 seconds through a natural collapse. 110 stories. If they came down in pancake fashion as we're told, at even HALF a second each, that's a 55 second duration of collapse.
Nope, ten seconds.
It was a controlled demolition.
Now a dead president, an attempted assassination, huge drug trafficking, rape, murder, mass murder...
All of it is connected by the CIA

RIP Phil Hartman (Troy McClure)
Crazy as hell what happened to him.

https://allthatsinteresting.com/phil-hartman-death

On the night of May 27th, 1998, Brynn Hartman had gone to dinner with a friend who had later said that she had been in “a good frame of mind”.

After she returned home, Brynn is said to have argued with Hartman.

Phil Hartman was angry with his wife for a previous incident where she had hit their daughter while she was under the influence of alcohol and Hartman had threatened to leave his wife if she began to use drugs again or caused further harm to their children. Hartman then went to bed.

It was then sometime before 3:00 AM that Brynn Hartman entered the bedroom where Hartman slept and shot him between the eyes, in the throat, and in the chest.

She was intoxicated and had just snorted cocaine.

In a state of shock, Brynn Hartman quickly left the house and drove to visit a friend, Ron Douglas, where she confessed to the killing. Possibly due to the fact that Brynn Hartman was prone to dramatic and manic outbursts, her friend did not initially believe her admission. The two drove back to Hartman’s house and upon seeing Hartman lying shot to death in the couple’s bed, Douglas called 911. By the time the authorities arrived, Brynn Hartman had barricaded herself in the bedroom where she then took her own life with the same gun she had used earlier to kill her husband.

Ken Kesey on LSD & CIA by EndlessSunflowers in conspiracy

[–]EndlessSunflowers[S] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Ken Kesey (September 17, 1935 – November 10, 2001) was an American novelist, essayist and countercultural figure.

He was born in La Junta, Colorado, and grew up in Springfield, Oregon, graduating from the University of Oregon in 1957. He began writing One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in 1960 after completing a graduate fellowship in creative writing at Stanford University; the novel was an immediate commercial and critical success when published two years later. During this period, Kesey participated in government studies involving hallucinogenic drugs (including mescaline and LSD) to supplement his income.

After One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was published, Kesey moved to nearby La Honda, California, and began hosting happenings with former colleagues from Stanford, miscellaneous bohemian and literary figures (most notably Neal Cassady) and other friends collectively known as the Merry Pranksters; these parties, known as Acid Tests, integrated the consumption of LSD with multimedia performances. He mentored the Grateful Dead (the Acid Tests' de facto house band) throughout their incipience and continued to exert a profound influence upon the group throughout their career.

Kesey's second novel, Sometimes a Great Notion—an epic account of the vicissitudes of an Oregon logging family that aspired to the modernist grandeur of William Faulkner's Yoknapatawpha saga—was a commercial success that polarized critics and readers upon its release in 1964. Kesey regarded it as his magnum opus.

In 1965, after an arrest for marijuana possession and faking suicide, Kesey was imprisoned for five months. Shortly thereafter, he returned home to the Willamette Valley and settled in Pleasant Hill, Oregon, where he maintained a secluded, family-oriented lifestyle for the rest of his life.

Yes, in 1942, Japanese-Americans were protected by the Bill of Rights, but we locked them up anyway - after all, there was a war on. Yes, there are Constitutional prohibitions against unreasonable search and seizure, but we have a war on drugs and violent crime is racing out of control. Yes, there’s freedom of speech, but we don’t want foreign authors here, spouting alien ideologies, do we? The pretexts change from year to year, but the result remains the same: concentrating more power in fewer hands and suppressing diversity of opinion - even though experience plainly shows the danger of such a course of action."

And the things it brings me are quite apparent all the time: heat, light, food, a lovely day. There's no mystery, no one asks for money, I don't have to dress up, and there's no boring pageantry. And interestingly enough, I have found that the prayers I offer to the sun and the prayers I formerly offered to God are all answered at about the same 50-percent rate." "Politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls. They got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls. They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying. Lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I’ll tell you what they don’t want. They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that." George Carlin

"Some of the people who had so much edgy promise, they died young; Lenny Bruce, Sam Kinison, Andy Kaufman, Freddie Prince, John Belushi, Bill Hicks... there is a degree of luck and intellect involved in giving up things that hurt you. The drug and alcohol thing comes down to this: Drugs are wonderful when you try them first, they're not around for all these millennia for no good reason; first time - mostly pleasure, very little pain, maybe a hangover. As you increase and keep using, whatever it is, the pleasure part decreases and the pain part, the price you pay, increases, until the balance is completely the other way, and it's almost all pain and hardly any pleasure. At that point, you would hope, the intellect says "Ohh, this doesn't work anymore. I'm going to die." Drugs do seem to open a window for you. They do seem to broaden the vistas. At first. The thing you have to do is learn... i'm not a big drug user anymore, but i always have a joint somewhere near me. You do find, with judicious use, i find, there is some value in it. But most of the things we use don't let you leave them alone. Pot does, thank goodness for that." George Carlin

Anytime I see people saying left or right, calling people commie or racist, I just see them as being mindless and manipulated.

The 2 party system in the U.S. is designed and promoted to keep “we the people” from having any power,
the reality is that it is not left vs. right, but it is a class war, top vs. bottom, the 1% vs. 99% of us, slave owners vs. working class slaves

There are the rushing waves
mountains of molecules
each stupidly minding its own business
trillions apart
yet forming white surf in unison.
Ages on ages
before any eyes could see
year after year
thunderously pounding the shore as now.
For whom, for what?
On a dead planet
with no life to entertain.
Never at rest
tortured by energy
wasted prodigiously by the sun
poured into space.
A mite makes the sea roar.
Deep in the sea
all molecules repeat
the patterns of another
till complex new ones are formed.
They make others like themselves
and a new dance starts.
Growing in size and complexity
living things
masses of atoms
DNA, protein
dancing a pattern ever more intricate.
Out of the cradle
onto dry land
here it is standing:
atoms with consciousness;
matter with curiosity.
Stands at the sea, wondering: I
a universe of atoms
an atom in the universe.

Top Comment from youtube:

For anyone who doesn't know context. Mcbeth and Conrad had been shot for shot all day. Going into the very last hole, Conrad was -38 and Mcbeth at -39. They had both layed up, and if Mcbeth layed up again it was an easy win. The only way for Conrad to tie it was on this shot from 200 feet, a near impossible shot. This is the last attempt he had at gold. This is the 9th inning of game 7, with 2 outs down to your last strike and the opposing pitcher has a no hitter. Absolutely legendary.

The Smith-Mundt Act of 1948, Public Law 80-402, 62 Stat. 6, limited/prohibited the government from propagandizing its own citizens through controlling the narrative

This law was repealed/modified with the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012, 112TH Congress 2D Session H. R. 5736, This changed the Smith-Mundt Act by taking away the the government’s limit and prohibition of propagandizing its own citizens by controlling the narrative

The bill was passed by Congress, rolled into the NDAA, and signed into law by Obama in 2013

https://www.congress.gov/bill/112th-congress/house-bill/5736

This made it legal for the government to disseminate propaganda at home and abroad

Here's the quote that I had copied down from listening to some of this talk:

… they don’t want to panic the vast numbers of people who just go to work and raise their kids, and pray that somebody smarter is doing something about all of this… but they don’t believe there is any kind of normal future. and I don’t either. Business As Usual is not on the menu, folks. We’re either going to go into an era of immense resource scarcity, regimentation, governmental interference in our lives, tremendous propagandistic efforts to make us do one thing or another, OR, we’re going to pull the plug on Scientism, and its stooges, and the institutions which feed it. Capitalism is an interesting problem, more easily discussed now that communism is out of the picture. Capitalism is as anti human a philosophy as you can possibly conceive, because at this very moment, we should be consuming less, manufacturing less, selling less, transporting less, and what’s the battle cry, free trade everywhere, what does free trade mean, it means my right to come to your country and sell the most outlandish junk you’ve ever seen… see, they try to tell you that Capitalism and Democracy are not at variance, actually the whole Marxist-Leninist- Socialist thing was a side dish, the real life and death struggle is between Capitalism and Democracy. Democracy says everybody has an innate worth that must be honored, capitalism says, those who die with the most toys win. You cannot reconcile these two things. and nobody wants to talk about this. We’re still having the party over the fall of communism…
