Yes, the age of adulthood should be 18 and any laws that restrict personal freedoms on the basis of age after 18 should be illegal.

Reddit is very authoritarian on nanny state topics like helmet laws and life-jacket laws. Redditors really just don't value freedom, and they love forcing other people to make the same decisions they would make.

Canada enters another dimension of hyper clown reality. Broadly defined 'Conversion Therapy' now banned. by send_nasty_stuff in debatealtright

[–]Empire_Earth 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The bill was passed through a unanimous consent motion by the House of Commons on Dec. 1 and the Senate on Dec. 7, after Conservatives who had opposed previous legislation on the subject embraced it.

Is Canada the most far-gone Western nation? Is there even an opposition?

law goes further than the previous two bills because it broadens the consent issue to protect both adults and minors, said Nicholas Schiavo, the executive director of No Conversion Canada, a nonprofit organization that lobbied to support the bill. “The intention behind the first two were good, but they left a loophole for adults to undergo conversion therapy,” he said. “They can’t consent to something fraudulent.”

I really will never understand how the left abandoned personal freedom so quickly. Obviously I understand why the elite did but the degree to which grassroots liberals embraced tyrany is shocking.

I still can't believe how quickly straight people have taken up the idea that gay men should be attracted to women pretending to be men. Or that they should be attracted to someone of the same sex pretending to be of the opposite sex. Doesn't the idea bother them personally?

Gallup gives a much lower number of 16%. Probably half of those are lying too

Just looking into the 40% poll quicky, it seems like it was designed to produce a high number. From the article

Barna produced the 124-page study in conjunction with the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University and Foundations of Freedom, a non-profit entity that promotes traditional American values. The results differed significantly from a February Gallup poll that showed just 5.6 percent of U.S. adults of all ages are not "heterosexual or straight," though that poll said that 7.6 percent of respondents refused to answer the question and another 5 percent said they had "no opinion" as to whether they are heterosexual or straight. The Gallup survey concluded that one in six Americans ages 18-23 were gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.

There’s not much that makes me angrier than when some immigrant from India tells me how glad we white people should be because people like him showed up! They act as if we should get on our knees and kiss their feet gratitude. “Thank you, thank you for diversity.”

Every day I see immigrants behave like this. Indians in particular are very vocal about how "great" they are. They act like we wouldn't be able to survive without them - even though they are the ones who are destroying the country.

Excellent speech by Jared Taylor as per usual. I was genuinely saddened to see how elderly Taylor looks in the top photo. I don't know if the White nationalist movement can survive without him. Here's hoping he lives to 100.

Does anyone have any information on the demographics of the French military? by Ethnocrat in debatealtright

[–]Empire_Earth 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

There is little information on the subject - at least not easily found. Looks like ~15-20% of serving troops are Muslim. I would assume that this group is almost 100% Arabic or African

But that sort of behavior is untenable today due to the Army’s growing Muslim contingent, which represents around 10 to 20 percent of France’s military population.

Why French military may be more tolerant of Muslims than French society.

Yet an estimated 15 percent of the French military has roots in the Muslim world.

Mission Critical: Advancing Diversity in U.S. and European Militaries

This article suggests that the proportion of non-White soliders in the French military is roughly proportional to the overall level in French society. It was published in 2009, so the rate will be higher now.

France has the largest Muslim population in Europe, estimated at between five and seven million people, or about 7 to 10 per cent of the French population.Statistics are not available because, officially, the state does not collect data according to ethnicity, religion or race. But the ratio of Muslims in the military, including the national police or gendarmerie, mirrors that in the population as a whole, according to Capt. Bouharb and other officials.

France's army embraces its Muslim soldiers

Not much data to go on. Looks like the 20% Muslim number you were cited is credible. I would doubt that the 40% Black number is accurate though

Also see this article by Sean that talks about more trans related stuff https://ideasanddata.wordpress.com/2021/02/07/on-transgenderism/

Thanks for this link, I didn't know he had posted new content since November. Sean is absolutely brilliant - the smartest content creator on the Internet as far as I am concerned

Truly treating trans people as a member of their preferred sex would therefore clearly involve more than a mere shift in language. It would require us to do things which naturally cause reactions of disgust and discomfort for many cis gendered people. In some cases, such as the domain of sexual attraction, treating trans people as their preferred sex would even violate many cis people’s sense of their own identity.

It's insane that leftists don't get this or don't care. I will never understand how people can convince themselves that a biological man becomes a woman just by claiming to be one.

It's not looking good for most White nations right now, but at least France has something of a resistance. I think that France is doing much better than Britain for example, which has practically no opposition worth mentioning. Probably better than Germany too

Kicking out Paris is an interesting idea - maybe the only possible solution depending on the situation. I wonder how long it would take for the resulting state to start enforcing islamic law? Would be great to see Parisian leftists suffer the consequences of their own immigration policies
