There are two kinds of people: Those who think the government cares about them, and those who think. by JasonCarswell in memes

Yup, another vapid binary logic meme pointing fingers at inclusion at the price of exclusion. Thank god I interpret myself as one who thinks or I might be offended...LOL.

What would we do without them to define us? Talk about a pronoun problem.

Democratic Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut is worried that if the GOP takes over either house of Congress in the midterm elections, that will spell the end for funding the war in Ukraine. Oh, chippy to separate Repubs and demos into war camp and antiwar camp is naive at the best.

What ever party is in power when the war starts is always blamed by "the other side" (an-other side that truly does not exist...only controlled opposition) for the war yet both sides voted for the war in the first place. And funding it to the tune of trillions of tax dollars.

Talk about vapid, no information all emotional recipe to win an office and do the same thing the last boss did...money/power/land grabbing.

The complexity of modern society as a tool of the ruling groups. About the different methods to study reality. by HibikiBlack in C_S_T

"Understanding the complexity of current events requires people to possess a decent amount of knowledge about history, philosophy and politics."

So true, one must muster developing a "polymathic" mind in order to understand the definition of complexity, let alone understanding complexity of current global events. All stable complete systems are based in SIMPLICITY, because all beginnings of a complex system built by human initiation, must contain simple solid mental foundations for the average person to comprehend while functioning within a complex system. How to see the forest's complexity in totality, despite all the trees in the way?

Education processes in my country do not teach a human how to think well, only regurgitate facts given to them not how to determine how a fact becomes true or not. You have to sign up for a "critical thinking" or logic class as an elective and these class' information is not requisite to General Education requirements to graduate with, BS/BA MS/Ma or a PhD in any subject.

I would love for the general population to heavily discuss quite a few of the posts you place on Saidit, HibkiBlack. This post points to things of great importance for anyone to develop a good sense of "personal philosophy" building and understanding complexities of our global society.

"Society has become so complex that understanding it requires a lot of knowledge, so most people will just conveniently ignore any information that is not necessary for them to function on a day-to-day basis..."

Yes it is complex yet, there must be a simple philosophical way to express how these complexities function within society. I do not think the majority of humans think the word "philosophy" will help them survive...when it is so easy to not philosophize and still live.

If a person thinks they might be brainwashed already, how will they be able to distinguish an original thought, from all brainwashed thoughts?

Come on HibikiBlack, lettuce discuss your post and have fun with our philosophical debate over the difficulties obtaining enough knowledge to recognize and understand the complexities of our human situation. I follow Einsteins' advice knowing imagination is much more powerful than knowledge...alone.

Yup, the first book club book was too difficult to read and too much sex shit, The Mass Psychology of Fascism. Now we read children's books because adult books are too hard to comprehend...especially if it talks about sex...LMAO.

Please, do not get me wrong the book you propose is great for younger people to expose their minds to.

Yes, we all come to saidit to express opinions, as if debating. Yet, so many post worth debating contain no comments...no debate. The times I see an actual debate, not fighting words on Saidit is very rare indeed. The amount of digital spacetime spent posting and commenting on the same frivolous "Personally" accepted and/or unaccepted issues boggles my DnAmind. Do we come here simply to express opinions or is there a higher ground of Unity we wish global society to express back towards each individual? Unity is unit followed by why?

The other context deals with what I call "Binary Think" that, which stops critical thinking processes. Stops critical thinking because the moneyed system you write about creates a narrative containing prepackaged arguments for sheeple on both sides of said issue to Parrot from their mental cages. Prepackaged arguments the sheeple people spout as their own opinions. Opinions and arguments NOT outside the paradigm's narrative presently presented by our global cultural society. Thinking outside box reality requires one to be able to describe the edges of the box, before one can express opinions outside box reality or outside the prepackaged "Issues", already provided for them.

Saiditers think of themselves as outsiders due to being Reddit refugees, not so much for thinking outside the box but for thinking "taboo" thoughts. Taboo thoughts, the box reality they think they are outside of...defined that, which is taboo in the first place. And now, from the President's mouth a new journalistic catch phrase for the sheeple...to think they understand and have defined for themselves..."semi-fascism". What the fuck is that any way...partial fascism? One's imagination must work hard to define such phrasings. LMAO and saiditers take on this prepackaged mental virus consisting of an affix attached to Fascism defining mental vapidness and over 144 comments.

Yup, and thanks for providing comments upon "citizens united" and its law having not a thing to do with citizens. Only oxymoronic logic states that a company is a citizen with lots of money. LMAO the Supreme Court argues a company is to be considered a person, a citizen? In what reality can this be true but within "semi-fascism?"

one little word, "fascism" and Saidit goes hog wild commenting like no tomorrow. 144 comments....LMAO. Red, blue, elephant or donkey Left and right, conservative and liberal are the divide you are already conquered by. To blame one person, the president for what happens within our total govern-mental workings is lame at the least and absolutely brainwashed bullshit at the most. And it was not even "fascism" that got Saidit's underwear in a wad, it was semi-fascism..LMAO.

People, it is called Fiat Money for a reason. Go to GOD, Google Of Dictionaries and have God define Fiat for you. It is "make believe" in other words make you believe in something that is an illusion, like believing in money, when it is only a fiat.

Governments will always barrow money no matter the rate at which it pays back its debt. We accept this as normal because of the word, FIAT!

so what kinda denial is celibacy? To deny oneself sex is the highest...what "the real nature of being a man and the fruits of celibacy. No fruiting with celibacy, no sex no fruitful multiplying. You assume a lot with "dismissing the natural human wariness towards sexual pleasure as religious panic". It is religion teaching such panic in the first place hence, the answer is not to engage in sex, celibacy. And celibacy has its mental "fruits" yet is not fruitful multiplying.

We must agree to disagree on these points of sexual religiosity.

More of what Wilhelm Reich writes about sex:

“Originally and naturally, sexual pleasure was the good, the beautiful, the happy, that which united man with nature in general. When sexual feelings and religious feelings became separated from one another, that which is sexual was forced to become the bad, the infernal, the diabolical.”

"...Thus, we see that the religious conception of sex as an annihilating, diabolical force, predisposing one for final doom, is rooted in actual physical processes.” Oh, he goes deep, ouch.

What is sexuality and does it contain a freedom worth exploring…social cultural mass mindedness, economically and within equanimity of social prejudice?

Einstein says this about personal social prejudices:

Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions, which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are even incapable of forming such opinions. - Albert Einstein
