Blocking roads just pisses people off and prevents them from reaching potentially life saving locations in the case of an emergency. This is just selfish and will only make others decide not to side with their cause. I got blocked by stupid BLM several times last year and it seriously only made me hate them more. On one occasion a member of my family had just died and I was devastated, but I just had to sit there until they were cleared out. It was horrible. God forbid an ambulance needs to get through and isn’t able to. I hate a lot of the covid shit and know that it’s borderline illegal overreach, but this style of protest is just absurd.

My husband does this same thing and I don’t understand it. He is very liberal and he doesn’t read like I do, so I don’t think that he or people like him fully understand exactly what’s at stake or the awful impact this has on women. He’s just been told to obey and have blind trust, I guess. I wish that they would listen to us. I see no issue with this. If both parties agree to have sex using a condom, and then one party violates the agreement, then that’s a problem. Technically either a man or woman could use condom removal to induce a pregnancy, or spread a disease which otherwise would most likely have been contained. What does the opposing side say? I’m a pretty staunch Republican, but this seems fine to me so long as there is proof? I guess that could be a big problem is that this opens up yet another door for liars and ass holes to file false claims against others which are difficult to prove unless there is an actual pregnancy and dna test, or it can be proven that the virus given was the same strand as the perpetrator.

I’m sad to say that I honestly believe that a lot of liberal men do hate women. I work in a very woke, very male dominated career, and I’ve noticed a lot of negative thinking in regards to women from my liberal male coworkers. A lot of them seem to only be nice when they think that they have a chance of getting sex (they don’t), and otherwise treat me as though I’m less intelligent or not there. When I was single I was constantly invited out with the group for drinks after work. This stopped as soon as I got into a relationship. I’ve also had three separate guys go off on incel like text tirades because I “led them on.” I just thought that we were friends and treated them the same as I treat any friend. We have two TIMs at work and they all go along with the bullshit, which speaks volumes to me in regards to how they view women. Idk. Sorry for the rant. I never seem to be treated this way by conservative male coworkers or acquaintances. It’s all purely anecdotal, but consistently annoying.

You’re not alone in this at all. I have two of these guys that I work with, and I feel the same way around them. Part of my issue is knowing that, based on their actions, they see women as an “other.” If they saw us as equal humans, the facade wouldn’t be necessary. This is incredibly frustrating to me as I’m one of only a few women in the office of my male dominated occupation. Seeing the other men going along with their game of make believe further concerns me that possibly a lot of the other men who I work with are also more misogynistic than I thought. If they think that Bob’s disgusting caricature of womanhood makes him a woman, than what do they actually think about women? Further, I’ve come to realize that even the TIMs who have been declared to be “the good ones” are still furthering a harmful agenda by choosing to play the game, rather than accept biological fact and, hence, are similarly at fault for this ongoing decaying of women’s rights.

On a separate note, I’m so happy that I found this community again. I just was permabanned from Reddit for a third wrongthink offense (1. Called an incel an incel on r/conservative - three day ban, 2. Referred to drag as “womanface” - week long ban, 3. Stated that biological sex was a scientific reality and couldn’t be changed) and decided to check this place out more.

It’s seen as acceptable now, but more people are waking up every day and seeing this for what it really is.
