No, he wasn't. As mayor, he was a Republican, then an independent. Once he returned to being a democrat he apologized for the things he did that made the city safer. Fortunately for the democrats Bill DeBlasio is destroying 4 decades of progress in a matter of years and quickly returning NYC to the good old days of the late 70s/ early 80s.

True, but circular, because "murder" means "an unjustifiable, illegal killing." The police who killed Floyd, or were there when he died, haven't been convicted of murder. And, for some reason, the media ran with an edited-down version of the video and the story for months to make everyone think this was clearly a murder by police. It seems like the real story may be something more complex and different--Floyd was high, had a cardiac event when resisting arrest, and died possibly due to the drugs or the combination of the drugs and the police use of force. It certainly hasn't been proven that the cops crushed his neck in a deliberate attempt to kill him. And he wasn't in a "chokehold," as far as I'm aware.

All the money required for all this "intercultural" training, which will definitely work, is definitely worth it to acquire the wonderful benefits of diversity. Sweden was so boring and rich and safe and healthy when it was just full of Swedes. The problem with reddit is that the mods and admins are purging and suppressing views they disagree with. It wasn't enough for them that the site has been dominated by leftists, and that leftist propaganda gets upvoted while disagreement gets downvoted. Saidit isn't purging anyone's views, so there's no problem. One reason to be doubtful of calls for balance, though, is that the current mainstream of leftism opposes free speech and dissent in principle. That is, once you get a sufficiently large number of leftists (of a certain vein) on the platform, they will call for and push to implement de-platforming those who disagree with them. Hopefully, though, we will get more of the other sort of leftists (old left?) who believe in free speech as a leftist value.

There's lots wrong in what you said, but

Is just ridiculous. Any student forming or joining such a group would be expelled--unless the group was secret, and if it were ever exposed the student would be expelled. There was a girl who got expelled last week merely for pointing out that black-on-black killing numbers dwarf by a hundreds or thousands of times police-on-black killings. And you saying "well, you could have an all or mostly white group so long as you don't call it" that just points out the double standard, because universities not only allow but encourage exclusive groups, programs, and scholarships for other races.

More specifically, it's to divide working people by "identity" while ignoring the importance of class. If poor black people and poor white people hate each other/ blame each other, they aren't going to work together.
