It might be that some of them are thinking misogyny is part and parcel of being a man, which would be pretty shitty. Maybe for some that are dysphoric, they feel so negatively towards the parts of themselves that they found feminine that it extends to anything or anyone feminine at all. It kind of reminds me of extreme cases of homophobia for closeted people, that extreme aggression towards something that you're secretly a part of but hate so much.

That said, damn. Kudos for having a core and pelvic muscles strong enough to not straight up give birth by prolapse on deadlifts like that.

Right? Since the suggestion that a biological female is different from any self-IDer is nearing criminality in itself, we're being cornered.

It's overwhelmingly common for people to just assume that everyone around them only has the most wholesome intentions in mind. Barring the comorbidities of mental illness that can be tied into transitioning, you're going to just have straight up people WITHOUT great intentions to try for access to vulnerable people. When anyone confronts that, ask them what the rates are for rape, sexual assualt, sexual harassment, sexual molestation, voyeurism, etc. If someone has already committed a crime like anything in those categories, what would stop them or potential future offenders from using self-ID as an easier way of access? As obviously pointed out by the fact that we have people in prisons/jails in the first place, humans are very much not all altruistic angels.

You're very much allowed to be a lesbian without having to change anything about yourself. If you're attracted to other women, you appreciate the features of those other women, right? Well, you've got the bonus of having those features too. Boobs are an inconvenience, but an excellent sports bra that's a little more confining keeps them out of the way for the most part. What kinds of things are you doing to keep your mind busy? I know school just started back up, so there's probably less time to do things outside of study.

I think that there's dismissal here. When I've tried to talk to female family members about any of this, it's dismissed. I think the problem might be that people who aren't affected in a very direct and constant way simply don't give a shit, to a point where they'll refute everything they're told and end it with "mehh, well that's just something on the internet and doesn't really happen that way irl". It's really kind of strange, like an inability to accept anything outside of what's immediately observable in their own space.

That said, you're not a snob but it's easy to judge. I still enjoy cartoons, especially anime. I'm there for the imaginative space and new ideas that just can't be created without expensive CG outside of the realm of cartoons and literature. I'm not terribly concerned with cultural literacy and sophistication, life is hard enough as it is to worry about what society thinks about an activity that one finds to be relaxing and thought provoking. Plus we live in an age where someone putting a banana on a wall is considered art, things will likely get worse.

You know that hetero women are biologically programmed to be attracted to all the gross bits of men, right? The body hair, smells and dangly bits are part and parcel. Attraction is subjective or we'd probably die out, and one person's trash is another person's treasure. Testosterone is fucking great. I've had on and off issues with clinically low testosterone levels as a woman since late teen years, and there's definitely benefits to having it vs being deficient. Estrogen dominance sucks ass.

There's benefits to being either sex, depending on how you're looking at things. Basing your existence on how many swipes you get on a hookup app is an easy path towards self loathing.

I've made comments about wolves in sheep's clothing years back to friends. That and pro-trans parents using kids-in-transition as social skittles treating them like toy dogs, probablyhaving Munchausen-by-Proxy, etc.. I haven't brought anything up close to recently though.

I think making new friends is hard as shit as everyone gets older. The LGB folks had the groups and gatherings dedicated to that, but if you're anti "T" I guess that's going to road block you. More people will peak in your community soon enough.

I'm seconding 72ndGender's suggestion of getting a full hormone panel pulled, thyroid too. That and an assessment of any medication that you're currently on (if you are). If you don't want to change, fine. But if your hormone levels are borked it has an effect on other processes in your body as well. Fatigue, depression, anxiety, skin problems (acne, dry/flaky, etc.), weird weight gains or loss--all just a few problems that can happen aside from libido issues.

It's like a push to keep forcing women to keep picking themselves apart. It's working to a degree, but I'm hopeful that this is just some sort of societal phase that passes soon.

Listen, sometimes we just have to look harder to find our groups and you're not less of a woman for not necessarily identifying with most of the ones you've been around. It's a tough crowd out there.

I wouldn't refer to the GC crowd as sexual degenerates by any stretch. They criticize gender roles (in the name), and are staunch protectors of biological sex for a number of reasons. My understanding is that it's imperative to allow children to grow into adulthood unmarred by predatory caregivers and the medical community that would attempt to convince the child that they're trans, to allow boys to have the same emotional processes as girls (to cry or be emotional without being seen as "weak or feminine", allow women and girls to be tomboys or "butch" without being convinced that they're actually men, to keep men's crimes as men's crimes in documentation (instead of it being recorded under female crime statistics and fucking up/skewing numbers heavily), etc. and so on. There are some very well spoken men and women in the GC communities here on Saidit. Sexual degenerates though? From what I've seen they're generally anti-porn, and many that I've interacted with would even be seen as more prudish by other feminists. There are a lot of lesbians, but I don't really consider lesbianism degenerate, especially compared to other sexual orientations (even straight folks honestly. Sometimes heterosexuals are just.. gross and hypersexual-- think coomerism).

It's not just the gaps in the stalls, it's them being able to freely install recording devices in those spaces and unknowingly having our bodies plastered all over the internet for voyeurs. This also opens up the whole can of worms with public bathroom sex that I would well appreciate my kids (or self) having to possibly witness.

I already don't feel all that comfortable dealing with the bullshit included with menstruation in public restrooms, but at least there was the background understanding that there's a misery loves company aspect in sisterhood there, and the chick 3 stalls down isn't likely to be thrilled with her own potential period situation either.

I will straight up say that if a place seems that uncomfortable, I will absolutely have my husband accompany me to the toilets instead of waiting out by the doors. If all men can be women, they won't mind the two freshly out temporary "lesbian wife" that I've brought in for protection for myself. If I end up witnessing anything happening, I can't promise that I won't attempt to beat a man's ass with a trash can myself though.

It throws the option of using descriptive terminology to describe a potential threatening person out the window. If you're not allowed to say man or woman, boy or girl, or are required to learn the pronouns of a sexual predator.. that's going to spell out trouble. Is it policing or is it a concerned response to behavior that is usually exhibited after being exposed to molestation or some form of sexual trauma? I've seen the behaviors of women that turn towards hypersexuality for a feeling of self worth or validation after traumatic events in childhood, and it's pretty damning for them. Hard to know the difference, hard to know when to simply dismiss it as some kind of kink and just let someone "live their best life" when it could be self destructive.

Ever since Obama signed in that executive order on the bathrooms my hackles went right up. I hate to sound hopeless, but it feels like all of this is sort of staged to some degree, and we're just going to go through the motions to find out what the plans are for whatever pieces of shit have the most money to guide politicians with.

I've personally never been in an online social atmosphere where the admin was as accessible as Magnora. Moot interacted, but it wasn't the same.

I've also never been part of an online social atmosphere where people were allowed to debate their worthiness of being there after being banned outside of maybe an appeal to the mods. Banned meant banned for whatever period of time, hands dusted. This wasn't an everyone's business thing, outside of chatter over people that actually used usernames or tripcodes. I've always hated Reddit, just followed GC over here because I had just stumbled upon it like a week and a half before the maelstrom of Reddit censorship took over. This place though? We're fucking spoiled.

I like that we're able to interact with the admin, but at the same time this seems to have just made his authority over the site seem a little too equal? He's done something great, created a spot for all of us to interact without the same levels of status quo, brainless criticism that you get in normiespheres. I know there's this whole big to-do about transparency now, but we're not owed that by default. I'm not going to walk into another woman's house and demand to use her lipstick, so why would I ask a site owner/admin to give me all the sweet deets on why he made a decision to ban someone from his own site? We're users here, some contributing more than others, making helpful suggestions and offers to help with whatever shit, and even modding out subs of their own. That said, we're still just users.

The people banned should appeal, and for the rest of us it's not really our business or decision to make. If they continue to ban evade, fuck their disrespectful shit. That's the epitome of asking for it.

Their peers. It's becoming a trend. Also schools. Look at gender education in elementary schools. There's instances of schools going behind the parents' backs and reinforcing minors to act like their preferred gender while on campus. What are the parents supposed to do in that instance? You can talk to your children and try to enforce a good sense of self, but when you throw them into the education system they become fair game for indoctrination.
