Application of hydrides in hydrogen storage and compression: Achievements, outlook and perspectives LINK

My point is, the only reason hydrogen powered vehicles haven't become prominent in the US, is because of the US Govt, and the deep state behind them.

True- for more than just the lack of hydride storage- according to Stan Thompson, the "Father" of Hydrogen Rail, when Obama got into office he threw out all hydrogen funding and programs in favor of batteries. Just for politics, because he didn't like Bush. A disgrace. Well they can't stop the rest of the world now. It's full speed ahead for China, Japan and Korea.

Funny about Lazar- I contacted him some months ago and he didn't know that Toyota, Honda and Hyundai had hydrogen cars on the roads in California. These cars are using PEM fuel cells, not ICE with hydrogen fuel, which apparently surprised him. At that time he said batteries had made H2 obsolete. LOL It was a WTF moment!

Not in my experience. I had no updates whatsoever for over ~18 months (and wasn't even running Defender) with no problems at all. I think they say that so people will update. Also, with every update, they re-install stuff which I have to then re-remove.

Stop the GD Updates, take back control of your machine. I've been using this since 2016 and it works flawlessly. Never will I let any company dictate when I must update. Why more people are not outraged about this is a mystery.

I asked "Why is China pivoting to H2 from BEV" which the battery bullies ignore. Also, it will take more than just batteries to get the world off of fossil fuels. This is simply a fact. Every battery made today will die one day and no one is talking about the fact that recycling of Li-Ion batteries IS NOT COST EFFECTIVE IN 2019.

Elon Musk has done a great deal of damage to hydrogen ("fool cells") and you can see it all across ReddiTesla. It's been a long 4 year info-war but some people are actually beginning to get H2 fuel cells there now.

That Musk asshole made a fool of himself when he said that, and one day it will be clear to everyone.

Batteries can store a charge for up to years

Not only are you ignorant about H2, apparently you don't know much about batteries either. Try leaving your Tesla at an airport for 3 weeks and then report back on the range available.

whereas you'd have to find a shitload of new powerplants for the lossy and moronic way hydrogen economy works.

Waste of time. Good luck with your batteries - and no you aren't going to bury dead ones in my backyard. Tesla's are throwaway cars because who is going to spend $12-15k on a replacement battery when the existing one has a range of ~80 miles?
