Broken window theory. If you don't have police harassing people they start behaving more and more poorly. When you see someone pulled over you don't know why they were pulled over but you see that the cops are out and about and it encourages you to obey all the laws.

This dynamic would not, and did not matter in cities that were 100% white. Building a search engine is not as simple as pinging every ip and cataloging it. The software and algorithms used to make it work need a developer. That is exactly what AI does best. Local search would require a massive database.

An open source LLM can already ping random ip's, analyze the page in a very sophisticated way, and do just about anything based on the results. Anyone can set it up with very minimal understanding of computers or software, and run it on easily affordable hardware. That has never been remotely possible before.

The vast majority of people are indeed too lazy and stupid to ever bother doing it when they don't even understand that Google is mind fucking them by controlling everything they get to see. But the tools will be built by the exceptions, then get talked about on tech blogs and spread by influencers. That's a good question. On the one hand I don't think any film really goes that deep. Real intellectual exploration happens in short spurts and discussions. Things like podcasts, and around bonfires with intelligent friends. A good joke can cut deeper into the meaning of things than any blowhard director can fathom.

But on the other hand that means that films should be judged for what they are. On a curve. Something like Freaks and Geeks does a better job exploring the nature of humanity than requiem. Maybe I'm just not a drug addict. I'm not really a movie buff so it's hard for me to name anything off the top of my head, but it would definitely be a movie that was not trying to be social commentary. Something that is slandered as "far right" because it hit on some deep truth that the leftist hollywood machine doesn't want explored.

Generally speaking hollywood has a certain type of person with a certain type of experience. That leads to common misinterpretations of reality.

When self driving was the big talk all the shills and useful idiots spread the claim that you absolutely need lidar for it to work. I would always say that it can be done with cameras and enough computer learning and every single time be absolutely ratioed by people saying I was wrong. Then Tesla revealed their system which runs on normal cameras and no lidar.

The point is that there is always a lot of propaganda out there pushing people away from pursuing discoveries so that others can get to it first. That happens in spaded in the medical industry where there are a lot of trillion dollar companies with hundreds of years of practice in these kinds of tactics.

And the medical industry abhors a cure, but even more so any treatment that can be obtained outside of their ecosystem. Anyone can draw blood from a kid or teenager, do a simple blood type test, and infuse themselves. Anyone can open a clinic that does it professionally and ethically using volunteers.

The level to which the public falls for their propaganda is only an indication of how gullible the public is. However, there are always people in the know who are doing it even if the public at large has been dissuaded.

That's interesting. But cults are not based on logic or science. If people believe that adrenaline from tortured children has magic properties they will torture kids for it. Just like they kill rhinos for their horns and albinos because their bodies are believed to have special healing properties.
